We have 5.5 bathrooms including the basement. I generally keep a pack of Clorox wipes and toilet bowl cleaner in each one for convenience. I checked to make sure we had one in each of the “busiest “ bathrooms, and I recently removed the ones from the others. I have two unopened containers plus a 5-pk from Sam’s that hasn’t been broken open yet. No one gets to open a new canister until all the currently-open ones are empty so we don't end up with any that are dried out (which has happened occasionally in the past).
I scored 2 bottles of Walmart version of Clorox bathroom cleaner in early March, and I have a couple of open bottles in the mud room. Between the wipes, the spray, and a couple of gallons of bleach, I think we are good. Sam’s had wipes when I was there last week, but I didn’t get any since we don’t need them.
My DD found a mostly full box of Purell wipes in her bedroom. I had bought them last fall for her to take to the gym (she’s on a weightlifting team), and I had forgotten all about them. If I’m allowed to mail them, I want to pull out about 50 to send to oldest DD. She hasn’t been able to find anything in her area—no hand sanitizer or alcohol or wipes—and I would feel better if she had some of these. I have to see if they are allowed in the mail, though.

I wish I had loaded up more on paper towels (I have little left, but am making the best of it... I do have napkins and I've been using microfiber cloths for cleaning) and Lysol wipes (still have some, but I sanitize so much, I am going through them fast). I also wish I had gotten more flour because that is now impossible to find! For anyone looking for yeast, I was able to snag some here earlier today (I have zero affiliation with this company)... it's a one pound bag, not the little packets and shipping was $8, but I needed yeast, sooooo... www.wafflepantry.com/lesaffre-saf-instant-yeast-red-label.html?fbclid=IwAR0WoWeya5U4BWa1a-8U_498rc9sNWyaek1AxatshX311nZSeTi7b7Bt6GUThank you! Just sent to my daughter

Yeast is the only thing I haven’t found. Well, other than wipes. I had plenty when this started, and I only use them on the rare occasion when I leave the house, so they should stretch. I’ll be making my own wipes and my own Clorox & Vinegar cleaners if I run out - I have bleach, vinegar, oil, dish soap, etc. If your local restaurants are allowed to do curb-side, check to see if any are selling household products or even common foods like rice, flour, or meats/chicken. While TP and disinfecting sprays are not readily available at the grocery store, there are several restaurants here running contactless order pickup for staples. Since restaurants aren’t doing inside business here, their suppliers have plenty of TP, paper towels, rice, chicken breasts, etc. They aren’t always brand name, but they do the job!! There was just an ad on Facebook for a local supplier of cleaning products. They were offering cases of toilet paper, paper towels, and napkins I believe. I purchased a case of 96 rolls of toilet paper for myself and plan to spread them around to people who need them.

Lysol disinfectant spray. For my mom, she works at one of the local hospitals. Rubbing Alcohol I have some because that’s what I use to clean my earrings and the piercings. All of this is impossible to find right now. Anderson’s Split Pea soup. I was going to get some shopped last night until I found it that 12 cans would be $45 that did include shipping but ouch. Thankfully one of our local stores had some today, so I’m a happy girl now. TP is one and I know many people are struggling with that! We were able to find yesterday. I posted on FB that we found some and our neighbor responded. I was able to buy some for her, she’s immunocompromised so I was happy to help.

Carrots. You can never have too many carrots. They are a comfort food, one of my favorite snack foods, and my all time favorite veggie! I wasn't worried about running out of carrots- we aren't huge carrot eaters, but I use them for stews and we give them to the guinea pig- until I was down to my last half bag and I panicked! In my next grocery order, I put a large bag of baby carrots, a bag of regular carrots, and 2 varieties of canned carrot5, lol. Got them all. They'll all get used, but I never would have imagined that carrots would be my panic buy! So far, we're pretty lucky that the things we can't get are things we can do without. I usually have some backup items in the house because we have a lot of food allergies /restrictions in the house. We have to shop multiple stores for special items, but most of the food we eat is basic meat, noodles, rice and vegetables. I can work around not having the preferred cuts of meat as long as I can get something, and I've been able to so far. We're already out of "safe" bread and rolls for dd, but have been able to get the right brand for ds. I did buy some yeast so I can attempt to bake bread or rolls for dd, buy haven't tried yet. I do wish I had frozen some for dd.

Here's a little tip that has worked for me several times since all this began. When shopping at larger stores (Walmart, Meijer, etc.), ask to see their carts filled with items to be returned to the shelves. One late night at Walmart, I found Lysol spray and sealed packages of Clorox wipes that were no longer available on the shelves. Another night, at Meijer, I found two more two-packs of Clorox wipes in a return cart. Apparently, people put more in their cart than they need, get to the register and change their minds (maybe go over budget) and turn them over to the clerk without leaving the store. I'm sure it won't work all the time, but if you're desperate, it's worth checking.
I'm also finding items in strange places in the stores...like Lysol spray still sitting in boxes on a dolly near an end-cap not near the aisle where it would typically be stocked. I know no one wants to be in the stores any longer than necessary, but again, a little sleuthing around may pay off.

I don’t have the ingredients for fudge lol I do the easy one. Can of sweetened condensed milk, 12 oz bag of semi sweet chocolate bits melted together in the microwave, mix in a dash of vanilla, stirred until almost too thick and poured/pushed into a lined pan, plate, whatever, cool and eat! Yeah I used to do that one for the Christmas cookie boxes I used to make. Super easy

I live overseas so things are different where I am but when my DH was in the USA for work in February I wish I would have had him buy more Kirkland wipes and laundry detergent but mostly POWDERED EGGS. We cannot get eggs here for some reason so it is making my life difficult. I used to bake with powdered eggs all the time and it works so well. Diet coke is getting hard to find here too. Everything else is well stocked.

We've had no problems finding the things we normally buy, Aldi has seriously done a fantastic job here of keeping everything well stocked. Pasta, rice, noodles, toilet paper have all been plentiful.
The Polish supermarket have kept us in chocolate, bagels, yogurts and tea

I'm adding sidewalk chalk to my list after seeing someone else mention it above! With all the fun things people are doing with it I wish I had some. Especially for Easter when people were drawing eggs on their driveways/sidewalks to replace the Easter eggs hunt that we usually have in the park up the street.
Also, I wish I had bought some new jigsaw puzzles when we had the first hint of this virus. We have about six or so but we've done them before. That's not stopping us from doing them again but it would have been nice to have a new one.

Amazon has been weird. Looks like something is in stock, but when you click it’s back ordered and doesn’t ship for weeks or sometimes a month. I’ve been checking them and Costco almost every morning and none have been in stock to ship now. I would order it. Most things have shipped sooner for me.

I cut up all DH old t-shirts a while back, at the suggestion of a Pea. I have a stack on my counter to use in place of paper towels. They are easy to wash. I'm saving a lot of my precious paper towels.
He had lots of ratty old sports team tees.

Mine is skin care.
I use Estée Lauder and the kids use Clinique. It’s the only thing I haven’t been able to quickly get a replacement of. I placed an order with Macy’s. They delivered one thing and cancelled the rest. A ton of Clinique stuff is on backorder. I’ll try Ulta this week.
