A movie came out that was produced by someone that graduated the sane high school that I did. Two years after me. He is very well known in Hollywood. Name is Marc Platt, father of Ben Platt. Did you go to school with anyone famous?

Not a one. Not even a little famous that I can think of.
I have a friend who went to school with Renee Zellweger. A year or two behind her.

I would say well-known, not famous.
We went to university together. He ended up on a national morning news show here in Canada before entering politics.

I grew up with a bull rider who did the stunt bull riding for Luke Perry in the movie “8 Seconds”.

I danced with Keri Russell (the Americans/Felicity) for several years before she got super famous. One of the creators of South Park graduated from my HS a few years ahead of me. My sister knows him. A very good friend from HS is the white house correspondent for Reuters.

I went to college with the coach of the New Orleans Saints, Sean Payton. He was the quarterback/big man on campus at Eastern Illinois University in the mid 80s. I had a class with him, but I am pretty sure he had no idea I even existed. LOL
I thought of a couple more, not famous necessarily. An NBA player for the Portland Trailblazers (Kevin Duckworth) played at my college when I was there. Also, I dated a guy who years later was "famous" on a soap opera. LOL I honestly can't even remember which one, but his character was named Decker. Does that ring a bell for anyone?

Nolan Ryan (baseball player) was in HS with me, in the class behind me. He once gave us tickets to a Texas Ranger vs California Angels game when he still played with the Angels. His wife is a cousin to someone who married into our family.

I went to school with Charles Barkley's wife. DH went to HS with Janeane Garofalo, Ricky Martin graduated with my sister in law, and my brother was friends with Jon Henson in high school.

I don’t think so. But a Disney channel star went to the daycare I worked at when she was a toddler, they must have moved to LA right after they left cuz she got her start pretty young.

Not at the same time, but the high school from which I graduated has had quite a few athletes go into college and professional football. It's Westlake High School in Austin, Texas.

Susan Olsen - aka Cindy Brady Dave Koz - saxophonist and The Wave Jazz radio DJ in Los Angeles - I was actually somewhat close to him growing up and in high school; our families knew each other from synagogue. Lisa Kudrow
I grew up in Los Angeles. Quite a few other famous people went to my high school over the years, but these are the ones I overlapped with.
eta: Oh, I also went to college with Camper Van Beethoven and was friends with one of the band members - he lived on the floor above me in the dorm.
eta again: one of my friends in elementary school - Hilary Momberger - was the voice of Lucy Brown in “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving”. She was the voice of Lucy in a few other less well-known Charlie Brown specials.

Bette Midler. She was one of my sister's best friends in high school and used to spend the night at our house. My sister is on the left, Bette is second to the end on the right.

I went to high school with Charles Ramsey (Chuck), the guy who was involved in the rescue of Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus, and Michelle Knight in Cleveland. They had been held captive by Ariel Castro for years.
I didn’t know him and think he was a year or so behind me.
I read his book because he name-dropped a bit and there was at least one picture of someone I knew in it. He is quite a character, to say the least.

Just one...Laura Prepon from That ‘70s Show and Orange is the New Black. She was 2 years behind me, I believe. I was in classes with her sister, Danielle.

I went to high school with Chris Harrison, but I admittedly watch NONE of the Bachelor/Bachelorette franchise. My dad went to school with Morgan Fairchild (same high school I went to). Mark Salling (Puck from Glee) also graduated from there, but he is (was) quite a bit younger than I.

While I was there, “Robin” from General Hospital. After me a bunch of pro athletes. I don’t follow sports so I don’t know who. But my mom loves to tell me when an athlete went to my school because she loves all sports. Also, an actress from Glee.

He’s old enough to be my dad so I didn’t grow up with him but I have met John mellencamp. A lot of my high school teachers were old enough that they had him as a student or his age and they went to school with him. He really a small town guy at heart. Last year a mural was painted of him and on the last day he showed up and surprised the artist amd the few lucky souls who were there that day and chatted with her and took pix. He also sponsors art stuff and has an artist colony here in town. Everyone says in high school he was a rebel. Lol
