I need some ideas for things to put in his stocking. Can’t even remember what I put in there the last few years.

I'm having a hard time with mine this year, too. I usually do a toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, body wash, razors...all that boring but necessary stuff. He collects baseball cards, so there are a couple packs of cards going in. In the past I've added a little flashlight, a tire gauge, all-in-one screwdriver for the junk drawer, little tools like that.

We usually just do stockings for kids but this year I think I will do some for dh and I as well. The only idea I have for him so far is some beef jerky. The kids usually get candy but dh is not eating sweets. I got a Lily’s chocolate bar for myself so far. Body wash or other grooming items seem like a good idea as well.

I've done a toothbrush, a little hand held microscope (saw in one of those 37 best things from Amazon lists), a hand crank weather radio, tea, dark chocolate, gloves, Welly bandaids and a mint body wash he likes.

There is a thread, about 6 pages of stocking stuffer ideas.
Lottery scratch tickets are popular.

Stockings have always been a big thing in my family so ours are well filled. I pick up neat things all year and items are usually in the $1-$5 dollar range so it’s not a huge expenditure at Christmas time. Here are some of this year’s finds...
Mini model kit Tesla (matchbox car) Utensil kit (for picnics on our road trips) Fave candies Pill box Toothpaste Mini First Aid kit Velcro straps Corn Cob knobs screwdriver bit holder you put on your thumb Seasonal or funny socks Travel TP for hiking Gel pack ( hot or cold) Painters tool kit (opener, stirrer, etc) Paill opener Bacon holder Survival tool (credit card size)

I bought new toothbrush holders for both of us, in hopes we can travel somewhere in 2021.
I added a bag of lemon drops, since he has been on a Life Saver kick lately.

Every year I put a Farmer's Almanac in DH's stocking. I've also tossed in things like specialty chocolates (this year it's scotch chocolates from Scotland), small balsa wood airplane kit (quick to put together and fly), crazy socks, a magazine that is hobby related, gift cards for iTunes. A small Etch-a-Sketch was fun one year.

DH is getting stuff for his bike, including a tire patch kit that can be done on the spot (and doesn’t need a cure time). I had to drive up past Antwerp last month to rescue him! Charge cords, a dilbert page-a-day calendar, cleaning gel for his laptop, and a Camino de Santiago buff.
DS is getting a universal socket, a mechanical pencil with a level and ruler built in, spice rub for ribs, and gloves with a light on the fingertip.
DD is getting a case for her AirPods, new charging cords for her phone, and a vacu-vin.

We always do scratch off lottery tickets. DH is getting mints, a state park pass, candy, a stocking cap and I ordered a magazine subscription for him a couple months ago. If the first issue arrives before Christmas I will stick it in his stocking, otherwise I will just print out a little blurb about the magazine.

All these are good, I also like to do a couple tiny bottles of the really good liquor, like a airplane bottle of Glenlevit or something nice. Baily's is fun too, they have some good holiday flavors out right now.

I got DH some little puzzles - they're intertwined metal pieces that you have to figure out how to get the pieces apart. A Christmas ornament with a picture of our late dog (he really misses her.) His favorite candy Some nips -- we're going to make a fancy pomegranate cocktail out of them for breakfast. Ha ha

Flashlights are always appreciated by my Dh. One can *never* have too many flashlights. We must always look at the flashlight aisle when we are out shopping. We research them. Etc.
Nice mini-bags of chocolate.
A Star Wars funko pop for his desk.
One of those yodeling pickles that were linked here a while back.

There is a thread, about 6 pages of stocking stuffer ideas. Perhaps you could link that thread. It's known that the search feature here is less than optimal.

Anti monkey butt powder. It sounds like a joke, but it's not. Good stuff!

hop2 that is a good idea. I am going to find a small bottle of liquor as well. Great ideas! I need more ideas for the kids as well. I might get the keyboard cleaner mentioned above. PlayStation gift cards and candy are the other ideas I had. I want to get things they will use rather than just stuff to fill the stocking that will later be tossed.

We have two bathrooms and different taste in hand soap fragrances, so St Nick brought me a bottle of Mrs. Meyer's peppermint and brought SO a bottle of the apple cider scent.
Also for SO: lottery, a 3 pack of keurig cups he might like, a bottle of screen cleaner with cloth for his gadgets, and a couple of trial sizes of shaving creams. He likes to try different ones but will not spend the money on the travel ones.

Another household favorite for stocking stuffers are the Yankee Candle air fresheners.

My DH is also getting a couple of these www.giantmicrobes.com/us/ but time is getting short to have something shipped in time. I ordered them a couple months ago when they had a free shipping deal and forgot about them until I was wrapping presents just now.

Stockings for DH: I made my DH masks to wear with our rugby logo. I had the fabric made from spoonflower. He will love it, if we have a season to play. He is getting copper-infused socks, candy coal, monte carlo and tim tam cookies ( A fav from when he lived in Australia). notebooks that say ont he cover, things I cant say at work but want to, people I want to punch in the face, things I was right about. I received one as a gift that said notes from another meeting that could have been an email and thought he might think they were funny.
In almost 30 years of being together, we never had stockings until last year he bought them for us and filled them. He is super grinchy about Christmas so I was surprised at that so this year I have tried to find things he will like to fill the stocking.

Love that your grinch DH ended up not being so grinchy after all! My DD is getting TimTams in her stocking as well as they were a staple when she lived in Australia too. I can occasionally find them at our local grocery store but only 2 flavors, not like the many, many flavors in Australia. Love the notebook sayings. We have ones for passwords, codes, etc called Shit I should remember.
