I live in DFW area, Texas.
Our governor ended the mask mandate March 10. At first I didn’t notice much of a difference, but today I ran some last minute Easter errands to Target (which I thought required masks, but apparently not) and Five Below.
Less than 50% of people are masked. I am shocked at the number of unmasked people. This is the first day I’ve really seen so many.
I’ve noticed a ton of retailers have switched their signage to say “masks recommended” or “we request that you wear a mask” instead of saying it’s “required.”
So, are people still masking up where you are?

They are here, but it is still required in all public transport and shops and businesses. There are fines if you don't, so people wear them.

People mask up what seems to be 100% here including outside on hiking trails, walking around town etc.
Edited - what is the positivity rate in Texas? I just saw that CA is down to 1.0% for 7 day average.

We still have a mask mandate in California. All the stores require a mask. There is also still a limit on capacity. I went to Walmart last week and was surprised to see a line to get into the store.

In Ohio, yes. I did see 2 people inside of a Sheetz who were unmasked. They are supposed to wear them, but I guess the employees get tired of enforcing it.

Still masking in my city.
We are still on a mask mandate till 4/30 and they’ll reassess then. But go one city over in any direction and hardly any masks.

We are still under a mask mandate here. Locals all appear to be wearing masks, but someone posted on ND that they've seen tons of people in the tourist areas not wearing them. A bit infuriating being that there are still many who want to be vaccinated, but can't because they don't qualify yet.

We'll be masked for another week. But the Legislature ordered an end to mask mandate so after the 10th I don't expect to see anyone wearing masks anymore. Except on federal and state property. Still masks mandates there.

We still have a mask mandate. For the most part, people are wearing masks. However, I have noticed that on the weekends I see several people that aren’t wearing them. I might be wrong, but my theory is that people who live in small towns are coming to our larger town to shop on the weekends and they are primarily the ones not masking. When I have to drive to small towns for work, there are more people not wearing masks than those that are when I stop in gas stations.

I pretty much see 100% mask wearing in stores up here, but restaurants and bars are more lax. Most people wear their masks in, and then sit down and take them right off, before they even start to eat. Our cases have been really low the last 2 wks up here. We had 0 in my hospital for a good 2-3 wks, now we are up to 3 again. So cases are going up.

I’m also in DFW but I’m on the east side of the metroplex. I’m still seeing majority of people wearing masks. This weekend we’ve been in and out of several stores shopping for shoes. We went to a grocery store, Walmart and a nursery. The nursery had the least amount of people wearing a mask, but it was about 80% outdoor.
Dh and I are fully vaccinated but will continue to wear masks until recommendations change.

Also in DFW, but I've only seen one unmasked person in a retail store since the mandate ended.

I live in IL, and yes, we are wearing masks where I live.
The fact that your state lifted the mandate in the midst of rising cases and a potential surge (because we are not at a vaccine/herd immunity threshold yet) is why I won't be traveling there any time soon, despite having friends there.
Y'all are a mess.

Our mask mandate ended a couple months ago. Some store require them still, but lots don't. Mask wearing is less than 50/50 unless a store requires them.

My best friend moved to Texas a couple of months ago. She said that no one in her area wears a mask. She said she carries one with her to use in stores that require it, but other than that, she doesn't wear one either! WTH?? She is just so blasé about this virus. She also said she isn't planning on getting the vaccination. Her siblings did, but she said she is afraid. Afraid of what, I don't know. I can't talk to her about it without getting angry so I leave that topic alone for now. If I were living close to her, it would definitely be a conversation we would have.

We went to the zoo today (mainly outdoors but a couple buildings were open) and everyone five and up had masks on - including walking outside.

In urban Houston where I live, most people seem to be wearing masks. I saw one guy out yesterday without one.
Out in the suburbs, nope. A friend sent a pic of HEB in Katy filled with holiday shoppers, and there was not a mask in sight. An acquaintance posted a photo of herself at the Katy Republican Women's meeting - lots of women crammed together, not a mask among them.
Whatever. I can only control me. Katy will have to sort itself out (that's a western Houston suburb known for its far-right politics, for those who don't know).

Not saying that won't change given people's current behavior, but that's where we are right now.

Absolutely yes. We still have a mask mandate here ( Vermont) and I can’t really think of the last time I saw someone out in public without a mask. Admittedly though, I am not out and about a ton.
However our positivity rates are up which is causing some concern. We have had some of the lowest numbers throughout but seem to be spiking. Not enough to reverse some of our openings but enough to cause concern. It is the younger age groups. For example a few days ago we had 200+ new cases and only 4 were people 60 and above.

We're all masked here. I plan to wear my mask for a long time after my shot. The shot is 95% effective(not 100%) and I don't want to give COVID to anyone who doesn't get vaccinated. It's way too soon to take off our masks.

SW Ohio and I haven’t seen anyone not wearing a mask in stores and rarely see maskless people out hiking.
I was driving through another area of the state earlier in the week though and saw a guy without a mask go into a gas station mini mart. I did a double take because I never see that. He just reached for the door handle right where there is a large sign reading “masks required” and went in without one. That’s so ballsy to me.

Indiana's mask mandate ends April 6th. The governor said counties and cities could do their own mandate if the felt the needed to, but our republican legislature is trying to over turn that. They want to make it so that cities and counties have to get approval to have their own mask mandate. He also want to take the ability to put these kind of measures in place any from the governor.
Indiana can be such a backwater place. At least I live in a somewhat progressive town.

There is still a mask mandate and compliance when I'm out and about in San Diego. I did notice a few unmasked walking around downtown in the news coverage of opening day. The mom of DD's friend is a hairdresser and the dad of another friend usually goes to her. When he called for an appointment the other day she reminded him he had to wear a mask and he went off on her. Not sure if he ended up with a cut or not.

They are on the uptick in IL, so I just assumed they were nationally (and shouldn't have). And we are still somewhat restricted. Nervous about next week's saliva testing results when we go back to school (full day in person with lunch). 😬
