I remember the stalking issue, if you guys really need it from a pea you might know. I won’t tell more if the story than what’s already been told. It’s one thing to out the perpetrator, but a completely unfair other thing to re-out the victim.
I think a lot of people have been trying to speak up gently for a while. When even a gentle nudge got them kicked in the teeth, the only choices left are to stop nudging and watch incredibly kind people be taken advantage of…..or be a little more forceful.
Our family had a huge house fire in 2009, back when we were all on the old board. The peas circled the wagons in a big way for me. They were there at three a.m. when I was devastated. They gave me amazing, sound advice that helped me through the paperwork process. They generously sent cards and gifts that we used to return as much normalcy to our kids lives as we could. Then they graciously forgave me when thank you cards were outside of my available bandwidth (which I will probably never stop being embarrassed about…. 🤦♀️)
What kind of person would it make me if I could see that they were being taken advantage of and didn’t try to say anything? You have a lot of caring people here. And while people are upset about how we aren’t caring for BB…..you’re missing how much they’re caring about YOU.

Burned out here too. You can’t help someone who doesn’t see to want to help themselves. It became very tiring when she always had a come back for suggestions offered to help her out. I assume she has moved on and as possibly joined another message board with “new” friends. I wish her all the best

I think this pea community is an amazing group - a huge source of shockingly good advice and also very quick to forgive and offer compassion. The fact that so many got burned out by Bb is really quite telling of her specific situation. That’s my opinion anyway.
I couldn’t even read her posts due to her histrionics- so missed most of her drama - but I did witness the final threads.

I think 2 Peas is where I first came across “if people show you who they are, believe them.” It’s a good principle. And I believe it applies here. There have been too many things over too many years.

But there were too many red flags for me. I was skeptical of some of the medical information she shared. I seem to recall her claiming 20+ surgeries on her eye, and that seemed excessive. I’m not saying it was impossible, but the claim just seemed “off.” Then apparently there was a post about some medical numbers that knowledgeable Peas called out as being impossible. That's about when I was done. It was her oxygen saturation levels. I believe she said they were in the 70s, which is basically dead. The nursing peas were particularly alarmed. I've had pneumonia once and had my levl drop to 92 and it was awful... anyway, everyone said get to an ER and she said those were her normal levels and her doctor wasn't concerned.

Mine dropped to 91 when I had COVID, and my doctor was very clear that below 90 was dangerous. ETA: I found a post from a many months ago where I reported myself me actually did drop below 90, with instruction from the doctor to go to the ER if it got to 87 (which it never did).

My pulmonologist says as long as I stop doing anything when mine drops to 88 it is acceptable for me. Age is an issue, lung damage is primary, pneumonia twice in 2020 didn't help.
