Anyone have this yet? My Michaels has an end cap set up for it-had a lot of the accessories, but not the typewriter yet. Looks interesting!

I had not seen it so I had to go and look. Is this it? I honestly wouldn't use it. Other thank it looking neat I wouldn't have a use for it. Cute though!

Yes, nicolep. I had one that I can no longer get ribbon for and I'd love to still use it. Definitely not something I need. Want it, though😃

I have a perfectly wonderful 1960s Smith Corona manual that I LOVE. It's what I used growing up, and I use it on 99% of my work. I don't need this one which costs way too much IMO.

That's how I learned to type, on one of those old typewriters! Those suckers are hard to use now. After years of using a computer keyboard, you won't realize how hard you have to press those keys to make the type!
Why couldn't it be an electric one?

Huh.
You would have thought that they would bring out some hot new color, or make it much more compact or something neat and inventive.
And for that price? Nope. I can buy a used typewriter at a thrift shop for under forty, no problem.
Seriously, I think they totally missed the mark on this one.

Me, too. Although I am coming at this from the standpoint of someone who has a typewriter in the closet and I don't wax nostalgic about it. I think computer keyboards are far easier to type on, and if you choose typewriter font ... I don't think We R Memory Keepers' experience is worth the result.

It's adorable, but way too expensive. None of the coupon codes work on it.

I like it but I would never buy it. I got rid of a typewriter because I could not get ribbons for it. Someone probably snapped it up at a thrift shop though.

It is way too expensive for me. But I do like that it can type on a 12x12 piece of cardstock. I don't think you can do that with regular typewriters. Still too pricey for that one advantage.

But, but, but....it also comes in pink. Super duper cute but way more $ than I would want to spend. Maybe when they start clearancing them out.

That is pricey! I have been scouring stores for a decent used typewriter that actually works but have had no luck. I find some but there is usually something major broken.
I too will wait and see if they go down in price...a lot!

It's cute but I wouldn't buy one. Too expensive, especially considering I donated a perfectly functional electric typewriter to Goodwill years ago. And I don't think I would ever need to type directly on a 12x12 page. I'd be more likely to type on a tag or journaling block, and I can do that with my computer and printer.

I want it! Types on 12 x 12, it's cute, it's new (I don't like used, I am a princess). I wish it were not that expensive, but it does appear to be a good quality after checking out this product review video by Victoria Marie.

See, I'd really like one. I haven't been able to find a used one that works well, and I don't know if I'd be able to find ribbon, even if I had one that worked. I don't think it's available in Canada, and with the exchange rate still pretty high, it's not feasible to order online.

If it types on 12x12 then it is definitely interesting. I have a typewriter I bought online for about 100 dollars but it will not work here in Europe (the electricity not the plug type...I tried to use a converter and it made a spark and did not work). I might have to check it out on my next trip back to the US.

Can I ask a question for those of you that are excited about it typing on 12x12. How will you add typing if you have embellishments and photos on your page? And if you will do the typing first, how will you know where you want it to go? I guess I am totally confused as to how this typing on 12x12 feature is a great thing. Doesn't seem it would work for journaling on a layout.

This is why I never throw anything away!!!! I had a manual typewriter with a big wide cartridge on it until last year when I renovated my scraproom. Had never used the thing for scrapping, but it was in here. And. I. Got. Rid. Of. It. Now it's cool?
Does this mean the big stereo in the basement that plays records and 8 track tapes will become a thing again???

I have been very casually keeping my eye out for a typewriter but I do Project Life so the 12x12 aspect is no advantage to me. I also have a very hard time paying that much for it. I think I'll go check out Craigslist right now!

I don't know about your stereo, but I just got my grandma's old black typewriter from my aunt. It won't do 12x12, but it's gorgeous and there's sentimental value because she let us type away on it whenever we visited.

I have an inexpensive electric typewriter that I have had for several years...I love the cuteness of this new one but I don't use it enough to justify the cuteness upgrade....

I want this thing so badly. It comes in pink, does 12x12, looks vintage...it is everything I've been looking for. I'm not one for thrift stores or buying used from online so I had resigned myself that I would just have to get a new electric typewriter...then this one came out. I don't think $199 is too high for something that is decorative as well as functional. I just would like to hear a few more reviews. I heard one pro and one negative.
