Shocking news. I went in the other room to tell my husband, he said "Mork and Mindy" ? and I said Mrs. Doubtfire.

How sad and shocking. I didn't realize he was battling depression. I think the reason it's so shocking to me is because I always think of him as a funny guy. Praying for his family!

This one hit me hard. I just need to say "I fu*king hate depression!" I have been thinking of my brother all day & then saw the headline, just to much to take today.

I'm so stunned and saddened. Loved and admired Robin so much.... heaven has gained a glorious angel.

As someone who has had a loved one die from suicide, my heart goes out to those Robin Williams has left behind. It is a different kind of grief when death happens like this.
My own grief is too fresh to not be able to hear about this without crying more than a little bit.

So very saddened by this news. When I heard it, I thought it was a hoax. I wish I had been right. My heart goes out to his family right now.

So very, very sad. My thoughts are with his family and friends. I hope the press and fans are respectful and allow those who loved him to mourn in private.

How very sad. I was not a fan of RW, but I can appreciate how much he made others laugh and the joy he brought to others with his talent. I hope whatever he was dealing with that made him choose this road is at rest and he can find some peace.

In this world of so much violence and sadness we so needed his humor. It is still hard for me to wrap my head around this. And all the time he was making all of us laugh he was obviously dealing with such huge challenges. So sad. He will be so missed.

Fisher King was my all time favorite of his. Netflix streaming has it. Going to watch it now in honor of Mr Williams.
Rest serenely in peace...you will be missed.

....was said to have been really excited to reprise the role of Mrs. Doubtfire, one of his very favourite characters. And one of mine, as well. I'm so sorry he was hurting so bad. RIP funnyman.

Very sad. He was one of my very favorites.
I keep thinking about his amazing body of work and what it's meant to me. Dead Poet's Society, Jumanji, Birdcage, Fisher King, Patch Adams, Good Will Hunting, What Dreams May Come, Good Morning Vietnam, Aladdin.
Rest in peace, Mr. Williams and thank you for the many laughs (and tears).
