It's a rainy day and I have nothing to do except scrap! My goal for the day is to start AND FINISH two 2 page 12x12 layouts. One layout of our neighbor's cats that we fell in love with from our previous house and another of a family game night. I have a collection that I love for the cat layout and a sketch in mind for the second layout so I'm ready to roll.

OK I'm checking in. I scrapped last night about 5 hours and today for about 9 or so. I was working slowly for me because I am down to the uninspiring pictures and memorabilia of my California years. In all I think I did about 25 layouts and most of them are nothing to write home about. Someone dropped off a large amount of paper at the crop today and I pretty much used paper I found there to knock out these layouts because most of my 'inspiring' paper has been used already.
I will not be scrapping any more in December so I will be carrying this project into the new year. I can finish it in one more crop but that will be sometime in January.
I also used up my last hermafix dotto with about 30 minutes left to crop so my friend fronted me one from my Christmas gift. She and my husband give me hermafix for Christmas and my birthday and it is usually enough to carry me through until the next holiday.

I finished the Design Decisions class and last night I pulled papers and some embellishments for my DD album kit. I added some alpha stickers and stamps this morning and once I've finished the housework I'll have the rest of the afternoon free to scrap.

Way to go everyone! myboysnme were you at a crop? That's a lot of layouts! Today I put together a whimsical kit and laid out 30 pages. My nieces (17&19) dressed as Alice in Wonderland and the Mad Hatter for Halloween and did a huge photo shoot. Their costumes were quite professional and the pictures are stunning. I was worried I wouldn't be able to do these pages justice, but the kit just fell together and I'm excited to start the pages tomorrow. DD17 and I did some Christmas shopping today and it just wore me out. I try to never scrapbook tired, so I've just prepared the pages and fussy cut some frames, flowers and tea pots today. I'll start the pages tomorrow and hope to have them finished by Wednesday. DD19 comes home Friday and life will get much busier. I need to really power through the pages before she arrives, but it's doubtful I can finish by then.

I've just been working on cards so far, mostly playing with stamps and stencils. I'm not trying to accomplish any particular goal, other than trying techniques to see how they come out. It's hit and miss, but mostly hits. I pulled out all of my Christmas paper, and am trying to make several cards out of each line, again just to play and see what happens. Sometime this week, I'll pull the plug and send out some cards. I wish I had my SSS December card kit. They sold out and had to make more even for subscribers. Hopefully I'll get it soon! I have some shadow box and mason jar projects I want to tackle next weekend. Of course, holiday baking and housecleaning needs to happen at some point too. Boo for housecleaning! It sure gets in the way of my crafty fun. iheartpaper , thanks for sharing your process. I love the idea of getting the paper basics set up for the entire project before you start. I usually have all of my paper in a pile and cut it as I go, but your method seems more efficient and useful. All of the main decisions are made before you start each page. I will definitely give it a try. Good luck with your projects everyone!

I did finish those two layouts yesterday plus journaling for four other layouts. I found a sketch for my next set of pictures and next I'll look for paper. It's great to see that you're all getting so much done!

Loved them both ellewoodI managed to sleep most of my day away today, so I've only made one page, but it was the last page in my mom's album!!! Love finishing album. I imagine I'll be up most of the night and I'm wide awake and ready to start those 30 Alice in Wonderland pages. Going to find something binge worthy on Netflix and get started.

Very nice ellewood. I did PL for a few years but switched back to layouts because I enjoy the creative process more.

This season I have completed about 150 Christmas cards - the most I've ever done!! Next up is 45 cards for my co-workers. Last year I did the chocolate square in the 3x3 folder over card. I think this year I will just do the old scalloped circle on a peppermint patty. It's getting pretty late and I'm just not feeling it any more

That is so sweet, pun intended gmcwife1I have really been slacking over the last few days. Yesterday DS29 and I went for lunch and some shopping. I came home exhausted and all I could do is sort through my Clique Kits order that arrived yesterday. I was asleep by 8:30pm and now I'm ready to begin the Alice in Wonderland pages. 58 pages and they need to be finished before next Saturday!

I did a two page camping layout yesterday and even with a sketch it took me almost all day. I was binge watching tv and it was distracting but it shouldn't have taken me that long. And it still needs a title and journaling! 58 pages and they need to be finished before next Saturday! Fuel yourself with chocolate.

I'm on a low carb food plan and only eat veggies, fruit and protein sources. I'm happily on it, not bitter. I put myself back on it over three months ago and it's all good! The thing I miss most is peanut butter, but it's a gateway "drug" for me...lol. I have a ALL or nothing personality.

I mailed out the last of my Christmas cards that needed to be mailed. Now I need to finish the insides of the cards for co-workers and local friends. I am doing the Your December Story class so I have a layout to finish by Saturday. I finished my DD to day 5 so far. I've never done a small pocket album before (6x8). It keeps the DD from being too intimidating.

iheartpaper , you have been working really hard. No wonder you were exhausted! Hope you get your mojo back. Thanks! Me, too. How's your arm doing? My arm is not DOING anything, but it is healing, I think. Cards & gifts that needed to be mailed are on their way. Have hand delivered some of each. I need to sort out the rest of my gifts now so my niece's girls can help me wrap. My scrap counter is cleared off so if I had time & energy I could scrap, but everything else seems to take so long, by the time I've done the routine stuff I just want to lie down.

Get rest grammadee. It clearly is taking more energy to do your normal activities or you wouldn't need to rest. After two days of barely doing anything scrappy, today was a productive day. I did eight Alice in Wonderland 12x12 layouts and two 12x12 Halloween layouts for my sisters album. The other 20 layouts that are laid out are the 5.5x8.5 layouts. They should go quickly. So I'm down to 48 pages!!!

Last night I did four more pages. Today I did 20. I only have 24 pages of the gift albums to complete. They are graduation and pet pages. Once I pick two kits they should breeze by.
I wish I could be done before DD19 arrives on Friday afternoon, but I'm taking my mom to the supermarket that morning.
I feel really relieved though that I'm down to 24. Yay!!!
