I finished ALL the pages yesterday! That's not totally true...lol. I sewed the last of the pages last night. I still need to tie off the thread on my sister and one niece before I can add those pages to their albums, but three of the five are completely done. I'll finish that up this morning.
I feel like the albums were a labor of love but I'm relieved they are done!
On to holiday preparations that we're behind in doing!!!

I've had a really productive year! I'm almost done with the family albums 2013 through 2016, so after those are squared away I'll move progressively back in time. I promised myself I wouldn't even look at 2012 until I completed this end first, and I'm really excited to be so close!

I got sick about 10 days ago and lost all my mojo. Christmas cards didn't go out, fun little projects didn't get finished. Oh well, I was having fun up to that point. The good news is I'm mostly well to enjoy the holidays with my kids here.
Good for all of you on the albums you finished! I completed a vacation album this year, and it was so fun looking at it with my kids yesterday.
Merry Christmas!!

In October I made a bookmark tag for a friend. She loved it and asked if it would be possible to make about 30 of them for our entire book club. We started them today. We still have a couple of weeks until the book club meeting. We are using distress ink, tags, stencils, stamps, embossing ink, and powders. I think it will be a nice surprise for the ladies in our book club. That is so sweet! We had the bookclub meeting on Sunday. I was blown away by how much the ladies loved the bookmarks. I had no idea they would like them so much. I guess when you are used to doing paper crafting you don't realize that others think it is so difficult. I just used Tim Holtz inks, stencils, stamps, and embossing inks and powders. It did take quite some time to finish them but I was happy with the response.

We had our family Christmas party today and they all loved the albums! It was interesting to hear them talk about how my style evolves but has always been consistent. I loved that they even realized that. After we left and moved on to DH's family Christmas Eve, my nieces texted about them looking through each of the albums again and again. It made my heart happy!
Hope you all have a Christmas filled with joy!!!

Wow! To all the pages and cards and bookmarks made in this busy month!
I've been traveling (home now), but used my project life app to create 23 pages on the road.

It makes me want to give it a try. It sounds like a great way to make good use of "wasted time" waiting for this or that or driving time.

LisaDV, what's the learning curve? Do they have tutorials? I've never done any digi scrapping at all. Well, actually, years ago I gave it a try and couldn't figure it out. But maybe the app is easier.

That's a lot of pages, even using templates! justjac has been using that app--and some other digi tools, I think--for scrapping on the go. Are you planning to print your pages? If so, how will you do that?

But maybe the app is easier. There are youtube videos, my favorite mode of learning. It is so much easier than digital scrapbooking in PSE. But it is also more limiting. No changing the size of anything or overlapping. grammadee, I do plan to print them out. You can order directly from the app at $1.99 for a 12x12 page and a flat $5 shipping rate or you can download the page to print at your favorite site. I use scrapbookplease for my digi pages, but will be researching the PL printing reviews to see what I'll use.

I finally scrapped again last night, after weeks having not scrapped due to holiday madness. And a messy room, LOL.
I finished two 12x12 layouts for my dd's school album.
And i started on a 8.5x11 layout for my ds's school album.
And I continue to take photos for my DD. That should be wrapping up on New Year's, then I'll have the photos printed and get to work on putting it all together.

today I start on organizing my scraproom again. Went to a weekend retreat back in late October and it's never been the same (my room). I assembled my 2 ikea carts last night. I have no idea what to put in them. But I want to be able to scrapbk at will and not fight my room to find anything I have no car tomorrow as its going in for service. So today and tomorrow I'm working on it. Friday. I'd like to be able to create something I'm thinking one cart for art journal stuff

Thanks, LisaDV. I'll look for those. I only have one more set of pictures and paper to do for my Disney layouts and then I can move on to titles. At this rate I WILL be able to finish before we go again in April.

I got up at 6:30 in the morning on Christmas Day after having gone to bed around 3:30 just so I could finish the album that is was a gift for my parents. I still had to edit, print, cut, place, embellish all of the Christmas Eve photos as well as some pictures I got from my mother's camera from the week leading up to Christmas. I was exhausted, still slightly hungover if I'm completely honest, in a total sleepy haze but I managed to work non-stop until 12:45 to finish it. I didn't even stop for breakfast. Poor boyfriend had to feed me himself as I refused to waste time and getting my hands dirty. It was... special. I only took a very quick bathroom break. I left him wrapping up the album as I took the quickest shower in the world and did some spectacular in-the-car make-up while we were driving away to show up for Christmas Day lunch. Total madness but I did it. Phew! Funnily enough, what with the very limited time I've had this month, I have been working on a simple photo book for my December documenting only and I've been *whispers* liking it. It's been a lot of fun getting creative with glue, alpha stickers, stitching and wood veneer for others while keeping things super minimalist and non-embellished for me. What does that even mean? Anyhoo, December documenting up to date in my bookmaking software as of tonight. Bring on the end of the month so I can finish it and get it printed!

Three more days left in the month. Three more days left in the year! Are you happy with what you've accomplished? Did you reach your goals? Any last ditch efforts to finish up anything? Are you thinking about what you'd like to accomplish next month or next year? I have a free day tomorrow and I'd like to do titles and maybe some embellishing.

I just entered my pl app layouts into my tracking spreadsheet. I have 146 layouts completed this year. By far the most I've ever accomplished in a year! But I now want to make it an even 150. I just set up my new computer today and will have the newest version of PSE tomorrow to install, so I'll probably do digi layouts to be quicker.

Are you thinking about what you'd like to accomplish next month or next year? I have a free day tomorrow and I'd like to do titles and maybe some embellishing. I've been busy in the project life app putting multiple pictures on each 4x6. I prepared and ordered the rest of my December Documented pictures(up until today), my project life for this year and an entire vacation album worth of pictures today. Amazon's Prime Pictures has a code (NEWYEAR) for 75% off prints and other stuff. If you have prime you get free shipping also. I ordered about 475 pictures for under $11. I'm hoping to find the time to get another vacation or two worth of pictures ordered before the sale is over. So the first three things I'd like to accomplish would be my December Documented, a 6x8 project life (year in review?)for 2016 and sorting out DD19's college pictures into albums. I'd also like to make a list of my many projects that are in progress or that I'd like to begin. That might help me decide what direction I might go in.

*Does a happy scrappy dance*
I scrapped 5 layouts last night!
I missed scrappy so, so much.
One layout was the school photo for my ds's album.
Four were from the summer of 2015, when I took the kids out.

I had a marathon scrap session yesterday from 9:00am- 1:00am. I don't know what came over me. I haven't scrapped that long in years. I did all but three titles for my Disney album and some embellishing. I really wanted to finish the titles but I was in a daze by 1:00. I have errands and chores today but I'm determined to finish those titles by the end of the month/year.
