I didn't set out to stay frozen during February, but so far I haven't bought anything. I haven't loved anything new enough to order online and I haven't seen anything on the daily deal sites that I had to have. I've been doing a lot of scrapping lately but haven't felt the need for anything new so I'm wondering how long I can keep going at this rate without needing anything. I'm sure that curiosity will fade when I see something I love and that I know will be useful, though.

I have been resisting the urge to shop all day. I've been in a shopping mood this week. I did get that one Kelly Purkey stamp from her new release, and now wish I had them all. My shopping finger is itchy for some new stuff, but I keep reminding myself to shop my stash. There's lots in there I haven't properly fondled yet.

Well I did good in January, but I just binge shopped this week. In my defense I bought 5 albums to hold all the pages I've done since December (150+) and then I got $100 worth of stuff half off (so $50) from blue moon and some peachy cheap steals so I shopped smart.
I'm going out of town this weekend so no more spending for me anyways. But march I need to go back into the freezer.

I haven't bought anything recently.
I'd like to, though!
I feel all stressed, and would like nothing more than to walk into AC Moore and Michael's and go buy a bunch of pretties. Then go drive the forty-five minutes to Tuesday Morning and Joann's and buy some more pretties.
But I won't.

I didn't buy a thing in January, and so far so good for Feb. as well. It's a good thing I allow adhesives as necessary, though. DS #2 had a school project and he sat down and used half a box of glue dots in one sitting! Now the remaining half box will last me quite awhile----if no one else decides they need to use them.

My plan was to chill this month and so far all I've made is one purchase for less than $10. I went to our local big box store yesterday and walked out empty handed (although normally I would have picked up the Maggie Holmes chipboard sheet that was on clearance for $3 without thinking about it) so I consider that a definite win.
I'm filling a shopping cart with all the new CHA releases I'd like but have not yet hit the buy button.

I had time to stop by my TM Thursday. I scored 10 packs of Thickers! I also bought a package of double sided EP card stock in brown and ivory, and a couple packages of journaling cards.
I spent about $35 total.
I still haven't made any big on-line purchases, so I feel good. I'm enjoying using my stash. I finished up a few collections, purging the last 2 or 3 patterned papers that were remaining.

I almost caved last night and placed a huge order! I saved my credit card just in time.
I need a Unicorn stamp for a birthday card (and yes, it MUST be a unicorn). So I of course went to scrapbook dot com because they are having a sale on dies. So while looking for a unicorn I loaded up my cart with lots of other stuff. Then at the last moment I remembered I was on a freeze (hahaha), texted my friends and asked if they had a stamp I could borrow. Woo-hoo! One has one.
Crisis diverted!

I had to buy a couple of mats for my Cameo but that's all this month. I need some card stock for cardmaking but thankfully have a Papertrey Ink gift card to use up so will look to use that next month. A

It's hard to resist the urge of retail therapy when life gets a little too much to handle! Hang in there. I'm still frozen. I'm having a love affair with my lush white cardstock. I do need to place an order for adhesive next week. I had to just-place-scrap tonight because I'm completely out of sticky stuff. So, I took a photo on my phone of where I want everything to go and just shoved the lot into the page protector. It's scrap puzzle, the new trend.

I stopped at Michaels and they were clearing out the Silhouette Mint stamp blanks. I got a Mint for Christmas so I bought several. I also had a 55% off coupon so I bought the Jane Davenport water colour pens.

At least you bought stuff from a pretty collection! If you got the leafy papers (navy blue background, pink background, muted turquoise background), could you review how they are IRL when they arrive? Kthanksbye. I'm shameless, I tell ya, shameless.
I'm still not buying but that could be due to the fact that I'm waiting to purchase from the new MME lines. And MME takes forever to get to the European scrap stores compared to the other US brands! I've been itching to start working on a project for Mother's Day using the Meow line. And I want a few things from Hey Mister. What's up with MME anyway? Their website is still not showing the Creativation 2017 reveals as part of their current collections.

Okay, spent $2 today, but I could.not.resist.
There was a gallon size ziplock bag of rubber stamps at my thrift store. Everything was all jumbled together and it was taped closed, so I couldn't even peek and see what was all there. No brand, nothing.
So, I took the chance.
YAY!
Twenty stamps in all.
Eleven are Stampin' Up! Five of those are brand new.
Three have no name brand on them.
Six are StampCraft.
Best $2 I've spent in awhile.

I won't have any trouble staying frozen in February, since it is the 24th already, LOL.
I will probably place an order at ACOT in March. I have a gift card that will cover half.
I have to say I'm pretty happy I've been using up a tiny portion of my stash!
