Apart from my Cameo mats, I'm holding strong. Resisted the urge to call into Spotlight today as I drove past. I still have a $75 PTI gift card, plus $30 for Simon Says Stamp so know I can pick up a few things when I feel the urge - and I also have my Cocoa Daisy SB kit coming each month. Until I use up a few kits/kit remnants I really don't have much space to put anything else.

Broke my freeze again. Don't regret it. At Walmart, I bought Easter stickers for 97 cents. And a Sterilite 3 drawer container to hold more stamps in, for $9.97. At Michael's, I bought pop-dots, 3 packs of enamel dots, "school dance" themed stickers, "high school" themed stickers, music note stickers, a mini paint bucket of paper flowers, arrow chipboard stickers, 2 sheets of 12x12 paper, and a wood-mounted rubber stamp. My total was just under $18! ETA: All the stuff i bought at M's was on clearance. I couldn't pass it up.

I bought two lots of digi supplies, both on sale, after putting things in and out of my cart for the last couple of days. I didn't spend as much as I normally might have and I checked my digi stash more than once to see if I had a similar product I could use instead of the new and shiny version. Now I really need to get back to my digi projects to justify the shopping!

I went to Joanns today and bought some black cardstock at $.17 each (5 pieces) a Heidi shine on clearance and a couple of punches half off. I am ok with it.

Well, I bought some BH PP on clearance at Michaels. They are configurations that I use, so I figured it was a good buy. I also picked up some things at a LSS, but I feel OK about it since I bought some individual papers instead of the whole collection that I had in my wish list at ACOT. I also went by HL and Joanns and did not buy a thing! I feel like that is a win, especially since I had a 60% off coupon I could use. At TM I had a lot of things in my basket, but put most of it back and only got a stamp and paint.
Now it's time to use some supplies in my stash!

Well phooey! With only three days to go I thawed. I was in a different town and I went into a craft store. I know big mistake. But DH was encouraging. He knew I was looking for a unicorn. I bought a ME stamp and die set 30 % off (the darn unicorn!) and off of the clearance rack I got a TH stamp set, a TH stencil, a HA two stencil set and Kalidescope stamp pad. Total spent $34. So now my obsession with a unicorn is over. But I've been dreaming about the TH Distress Oxide inks. And I haven't even collected all the regular Distress Inks yet. Will it ever end? ?

Well, I opted to use 2 gift cards I had for ACOT, which was fine within my own personal rules of frozen-dom, but.....(You knew that was coming, right?), I did go $15.00 over my gift card amount. So, a little bit of my freeze melted, but I still think it's pretty good considering that means that so far for the year that $15.00 is all I have spent.

However....I fully admit that I truly have no idea where I will put the papers I bought. Ugh! As it is I have three 12x12 pads and eight 6x6 pads that now live on my flat workspace as opposed to in a drawer. Good thing I joined Calvin Ball. I need to start using all of this stuff!

I was kind of relieved to see Kelly Purkey's sneak email and not be in love with any of her new stamp sets! I'm on the fence about canceling my sub, even though I really like it. I have a bunch piled up!

I made it through the whole month without buying. I did shop but not buy! I bought letter stickers for a poster board for my dad's birthday party on the weekend and that was all the shopping and I didn't pay for them! It was a good month of not buying. March I may buy something, though as I am kind of sick of being frozen now. I do have to pay for my stuff that I ordered in January or February. I am waiting for an invoice to show up. Until then I will wait.

I caved right at the end and bought some adhesive and one stamp set with birthday sentiments but I used a gift card plus discount code so ended up spending only $1.97

I'm not staying very frozen this month, but I'm being much more deliberate in my purchases and I've scrapbooked more this month then all of last year. So I guess I'm feeling ok about it all!!

So far this month I bought a kit for the Project Life app, a digi kit, a bunch of stamp blanks that were on clearance for my Silhouette Mint (which I have yet to make a stamp with), a sheet of enamel dots, a set of watercolor pens, a small stencil, a pack of flowers, a waterpen, a Project Life card pack, a new date stamp (that is totally different from the other 3 date stamps I have), some adhesive, some page protectors, some cardstock.
It seems like a lot when I write it all out. It's less than I spent in the fall and still no patterned paper, so I'm pretty happy.

I have a bunch piled up! Same here. I bought the bundle earlier this month, but none of the new stamps speak to me (I don't drink coffee and I don't cruise). I meant to cancel before this month but forgot. I love her stamps, but they are piling up!

Okay, night time on 2/28. Anyone planning of being frozen in March? I am. Yep, I'm in. Over the weekend I placed a $50 order at scrapbook.com, but that was it for Jan/Feb. I just don't need a thing and really don't want to bring anything else into my space.

I didn't buy at all during February (it is March 1st) here in Australia! And then this morning, without evening thinking about it being the end of the month, I placed a smallish order for some Maggie Holmes Chasing Dreams. Before my freeze I had bought 2 or 3 pieces of paper from this line when I placed my Shimelle Little by Little order. Since i received that order a couple of weeks ago I have made 5 layouts...so I thought I would make a small order for a few more pieces of the MH paper, a 6x6 pad, some flat stickers and puffy stickers. I spent $45.00 Australian which includes shipping. I am going to try to stay frozen for March too except for my Freckled Fawn kit. so back in the freezer, and I hope to make lots more layouts in March!

Aug-Dec - this is my "buying season". I plan on shopping more in these months.

Here we are on the last day of the month and all I've bought this month are replacement blades for my paper trimmer. I checked the daily deal sites everyday and never saw anything I wanted. So I guess it was an unplanned frozen month. From here until May I won't be doing any scrappy shopping. Vacation is coming up and money will go towards that but I'm pretty sure that's when the daily deal sites will have some stuff I'll want.

I have subbed there a few times and always found their kits to be a good value. Save

The one slightly annoying thing is that digital goodies are not being provided to subscribers because of difficulties in uploading them to the 'new' (several months old) website - sound familiar anyone? I suggested finding some way around the issue eg uploading them to Dropbox or putting them in the shop and giving subbers a code but was told this isn't an option and they're working on the issue. Now I discover the issue has been going on since October!

I'm in too. I think Feb was easier than Jan. I feel like I have definitely improved in my spending and I'm getting stronger for resisting impulse buys. I spent $20 more than my self imposed $20 budget. Not bad I say!

Okay, night time on 2/28. Anyone planning of being frozen in March? I am. I going to try to keep it going. But I won't beat myself up if it doesn't happen, because I already have a list of stuff I want. Oh, and the "unicorn" set I bought? It was a stupid Pegasus! So I had to mask off the wings and use a black pen to draw in his back and neck.

Anyone planning of being frozen in March? I'm planning on one bigger purchase for some of the new CHA stuff and that's it. So I'll be sliding out of the freezer for that one purchase then hopping straight back in. I spent a little more in Feb than I had intended and haven't used up as much as I'd like so I need to work on getting the creating vs spending ratio back the right way. We'll see if this works out, but here's my 2017 plan as of now. Jan - frozen Feb - planned on being frozen, but ended up buying one Kelly Purkey stamp Mar - I plan on purchasing Ali's WITL kit Apr - plan on being frozen May - plan on purchasing a few things around NSD / mother's day Jun - plan on being frozen Jul - plan on being frozen Aug-Dec - this is my "buying season". I plan on shopping more in these months. Mapping out your year like this is such a great idea. I'd probably benefit from doing this too.
