Well then someone is lying. link
My money is on Trump, especially reported by the Washington Examiner and after today and the clusterfuck that is happening at the White House.

Just because they haven't released anything, doesn't mean there isn't evidence. Smart investigators will not show their cards before it's time. But you go ahead and keep defending the man you claim you didn't vote for. Trump has more skeletons in his gold gilded closets than the cemetery. Time will tell... Damn that "fixation from the left" is some funny shit. Memories are certainly short regarding the "fixation from the right" on EMAILS!!! BENGHAZI!! only that witch hunt cost us taxpayers millions of dollars spent with absolutely nothing to show from it other than having a lying, narcissist, sexual assaulting, bigoted, misogynistic asshole as POTUS. Are you proud yet?

Trump first has to strong arm some more cronies into writing letters fabricating reasons as to why he should be fired, so it probably won't happen until Monday.

I'm still not sure that Trump conciously colluded with Russia. I think Russia found it extremely easy to manipulate him and that some of his campaign staff possibly colluded with Russia. I truly think that Russia's main goal was to sow seeds of chaos and division which has worked perfectly for them. Now along the course of their "helping ", the Russians may have gathered some compromising information on Trump or other members of his staff/cabinet or may have already had some sort of blackmail that they will use when the time is right. Russians play a LOOOONG game compared to us. I agree. And as is true of most scandals, it's often the obstruction, coverup, and/or lying that get you. What I keep coming back to is that if Trump is truly innocent, then why is he acting the way he is? He would be the one person who would know for sure what the investigation will find - and if he did nothing wrong, then why does he act so worried?Exactly. This is what guilty people do. People who have nothing to hide don't worry when their closets are opened and emptied.

Funny enough, Acting Director McCabe said the same thing today. Asked point blank if innocent people usually ask if they are the subject of a probe, he gave a succinct reply. "No sir."

Given his integrity and unwillingness to do the bidding of the White House, he won't be around long. His testimony was great though.

Paranoid people would though. He could be totally innocent (doubt it) and still ask the question. I've misplaced my Internet School Of Psychology doctorate, so I can't say what mental illness/type of dementia Trump has. But I feel fairly confident in saying "his dough ain't done in the middle."

u Yep, if Trump said it, it must be true. It has nothing to do with the investigation of the Russian connection. Nope, absolutely not. I don't get this line of reasoning. It's not like firing Comey is going to stop the investigation. The investigation goes on without him, there are many people involved and even if it did stop it (it won't, but if it did) there are too many people that would push to get it going again.

Whatever happens, the facts will come out, by govt. investigation or tenacious reporters.

No. She is not saying what you're insinuating that she's saying. Here's more of what she said... Sanders said Thursday that Trump would "love nothing more for this investigation to CONTINUE to its completion." "Any investigation that was taking place Monday was taking place today," Sanders said, suggesting that was an indication that Comey's firing would not impact the ongoing probe.

"Any investigation that was taking place Monday was taking place today," Sanders said, suggesting that was an indication that Comey's firing would not impact the ongoing probe. That’s why I’m not convinced the reason for firing Comey is to scuttle the investigation. I read there are dozens of individuals and several FBI branches already involved in this. You can’t stop that anymore. (Everyone is guessing so I might as well throw my guess into the pot.) My guess is the reason behind the firing is actually banal. I think Trump just plain dislikes Comey because Comey does not exhibit the deference and fierce loyalty Trump considers essential. I don’t think either of them liked each other from the beginning. What I’ve read is that Comey refused to share with Trump, Sessions and Rosenstein what he would say at the May 3 hearing. It’s been a practice to preview a congressional testimony with one’s bosses and is considered a professional courtesy to do so. Comey’s refusal was regarded as insubordination. And then the “nauseous” comment made by Comey during the hearing…I’m guessing those two incidences were what broke the camel’s back and prompted the firing.

Someone may have to throw themselves on the sword and release stuff that they aren't authorized to release. That's our only hope. And if someone has the balls to come out and say they still believe in Trump, get ready to have those balls stomped on.In case you're a Trump supporter and didn't get the memo that your facts and opinions aren't welcome here...

Yes, Democrats were outraged by Comey and called for his removal. Trump was happy not to oblige them, but now he is. I wonder what could have caused him to suddenly change his mind? That darn Hillary! so, I'm way behind on this thread... but this made me laugh-- the way I read the phrase I bolded, I can totally see 'That Darn Hillary' as a half-hour sitcom on television-- lol!! The main characters are Hillary and Donald, and it would be something like 'The Odd Couple' with Donald bumbling around, tripping on things (like his too-long tie), acting like a bull in a china shop, and whatever happens, it would always somehow be Hillary's fault- even if she wasn't around- with a really fake laugh track in the background. And she would do that 'look at the camera, shrug her shoulders and smile' thing, and the announcer would say, "that darn Hillary!" I picture it in my head like a really bad sitcom from the 1960s - early 1970s... (can you see it?!? I bet it would get some pretty good ratings, lol!)

I’m guessing those two incidences were what broke the camel’s back and prompted the firing. And the fact that Comey wouldn't back the president on the Obama wiretap thing. I suspect that was a big chunk of the animus. And probably the fact that Comey is 6'8" tall. (Okay, I'm kidding. But our president has complained that everybody lists him as an inch shorter than the height he claims. One inch. Quite the metaphor for this guy's self-image.)

So "having your balls stomped" if you come here and offer your opinion or facts in support Trump is welcoming opposing opinions? If you read the context of the conversation when she said that, you will see it was a general statement regarding (paraphrasing) "AFTER" people come forward with damaging info on Trump, no one will be able to back him up anymore. It didn't say, or imply anything specifically about, "coming here" to this board or things that are spoken of here. Cherry picking single comments and giving false meaning isn't being very welcoming to others opinions. It is also very hypocritical of you, after statements you made.
