Because it's no longer scrapbook related for Miss Amy. I can't help it. She needs her own thread. It's just so ridonkulous. That product placement box is awkward af.

And here I thought that Dear Lizzy's Instagram product placement was awkward.
Is nothing sacred anymore?

She was one of the first people I followed when I found her at two peas (Project Life Saturday videos). I'm bummed she's become a walking commercial for random stuff on IG. Are there popsicles in her newest release? Maybe she needs to have a video about tacos and she can hawk taco seasoning and tortillas, make a scrappy page (or bujo entry) and use a taco sticker. Shilling AND scrapping!

Ugh. Seriously this is pathetic.
Yeah, she is no longer a scrapbooker to me.

Unbelievable.
ETA: if the popsicles are frozen isn't she worried about them melting. If they're not frozen what dodo bird puts a box full of unfrozen popsicles by a pool, takes a picture and wants the world to believe the scenario?

That's so obnoxious it actually made me laugh. My only question is why no one is wearing those t-shirts she's been hawking.

Those aren't even the best flavors of Popsicle brand popsicles. For real. Years ago, when my kids were teens they used the words "not relevant" a lot. I think that fits here. She's pretty much run her course with scrapbooking so to remain relevant she's branching out. I can't hit buttons fast enough to unsubscribe and unfollow these "celebs".

Just another sellout.
Who are the 804 sheep who liked it? They're the reason the influencer crap like this is growing instead of being laughed out of existence.

Here's a prediction.
Most of the current scrap celebs' kids are young at present. It's all fun and games and photo shoots (looking at you Dear Lizzy) and popsicles and professional-looking ads masquerading as family pix.
But they are coming of age in the social media time - unlike the grown-children of earlier scrap celebs. And with moms who are immersed in the presentation of "image".
Let's check in, in about 10 years, as they hit the narcissistic teen years w/moms who've taught them that much of their presented lives are about show and image over reality and substance.
I don't think it's going to be pretty.

Same boat at Liz Kartchner and it all makes me want to gag. I have no interest in these kind of people, honestly. It's plenty enough reason for me to not buy their product either.
I'm guessing the 800+ likes are from a bunch of snowflakes!

I don't think it's going to be pretty. My youngest just turned 13, started her period and thinks her monthly showers are optional. I absolutely cannot relate to these people posing as celebs. We're in a super bad place right now. My middle daughter didn't cause any issues but my oldest one did. So now, at present, this momma ain't feeling the popsicles and cute bathing suits and fun summer crap. I'm more of "take your shower and eat the damn food I slave to make". Where is my sticker sheet for that?

Those aren't even the best flavors of Popsicle brand popsicles. Or a good photo of the box. Geez, Amy, put a little effort into your selling out of your family and friend's kids.

You know...I kept thinking about this thread for the last several minutes and like almost everything else in this world, it all comes down to $$$$ which is sickening. NO THANK YOU. I actually feel sorry that this is her (and so many others!) priority!

Well... you can tell who among us has teens 😀
It's difficult enough to get some teens to accept social media has limits, Likes aren't the same as one on one relationships, etc. @zingermack I too wonder what these perfectly photographed kids are going to be in the future.
Heidi Swapp is an example of a mom who seems to have kids who successfully made the transition, although with some pain. Her posts were never as shallow, and merchandised, as current broods though.

I can just about deal with Liz K. I've unfollowed Amy Tan on all social media and YouTube because I can't stand the constant pimping of crap.
I always think at least Liz K doesn't pretend to be a scrapbooker or a crafter, she rarely posts about crafts. Amy Tan's craft posts always seem to have an ulterior motive.

I looked at her blog, but didn't see a lot of scrapping..I guess if you are a scrap designer you can only scrap with your own stuff, how boring.
