iamkristinl16 thank you for sharing the Facebook board for lisa j- I started watching her and I like her a lot. Her eye shadow is my #makeupgoals haha. I like her look more than other bloggers Iβve seen - more natural and pretty - and sheβs so sweet. Iβve been following her eye shadow tutorials but I truely suck. I feel like Iβve gotten the rest of my look down but I need serious eye help. I am signed up for a tutorial by too faced reps soon at ulta- maybe that will help as I am trying to use their pallets! Lol

Enabler alertβit cosmetics has a new oil free matte cc cream. Qvc has a set on easy pay with the cc cream, brush and cc+ airbrush powder for about $50. On the beauty chit chat Facebook group I asked about oil and double cleansing. Someone linked to YouTube videos by Elle Leary and she talks a lot about facial oils. Cacay oil is her favorite right now but she also said that sunflower oil is good for people with red sensitive skin. Does anyone use either of these in their regimen? I was really looking forward to this release because of my greaseball problem, but with the changes Iβve recently made itβs been solved! Iβm really excited- my make up is looking the best it ever has (which is not saying a ton because it sucked before but Iβm pleased with it!!!). I am curious how it will compare to the regular cc so if you get it, please report back!!! What had helped reduce your oiliness?

I havenβt watched any reviews of it yet but some people on the Facebook forum said that some of the you tubers thought it was too matte and mix it with the original. I am excited to try it! I recently ordered the celebration foundation. Iβve used it twice now. I feel like it stays on pretty well, but I look really shiny after a few hours. Iβm not sure what to do about that?

Hi today I did full makeup. It was a good decision. We went to a nice restaurant for lunch and I was dressed and made up appropriately. I used my La Prairie foundation mixed with some darker stuff from IT CC cream as I am sporting a bit of colour now. I do not mean to tan and I hate it happening but I have to go out during the day sometimes. Itβs all good and it turned out really well.

I changed my foundation first off which helped a lot but I was still oily. Now I am doing a combo of It cosmetics bye bye redness and cc cream. But what helped the most was using toner (and I am using moisturizer first) and then Rimmel stay matte primer. I heard a couple you tubers say it was SO good for oily skin. They were right for me!!! Seriously, my make up is on by 6am and only my nose is *slightly* shiney by afternoon. Itβs passable for me to just leave leave it because it isnβt very bad at all and itβs just the top not sides or a mini powder dust erases it. No oily on forehead, chin, or cheeks. Completely good. Itβs like a miracle. I did hear it was being discontinued - donβt know if thatβs true. I was able to find a couple tubes at my grocery store (a Kroger owned store) and target had quite a bit. Iβm trying to decide how long primer lasts and how many stored tubes would make me a crazy make up hoarder...

I bought an H2O plus mattifying toner at ulta today. It was on clearance for $3. Iβm going to use it on my nose and see if it helps to keep the makeup on. Wish me luck!

paget I just looked at my face in the mirror and it was 90 plus here with low humidity. I have never really looked at my makeup at night until your post as I hardly wear foundation. It looks great! It held up so well. I set my face twice once with my Becca hydrating powder and then powdered my face with my powder sunscreen.

Oh yes, I forgot to mention that I set it in the am with a slight bit of bye bye pores loose powder, too. And then Mac fix + setting spray. But I was doing both those things before when I was super oily. I really think it sure toner + primer.

Here my enabler alert for the day: ulta is doing 5x the points (activate through the app) and they are having a lot of good sales right now! I took advantage of buying a powder for $24 and getting a free $36 It cosmetics powder brush! I used it this morning and it honesty puts the powder on me better than my old brush- looks really Light and natural. Score! I had also bought a too faced lipstick I wanted but didnβt want to spend the money- it was buy one get one free. And I stocked up on NYX products I like for buy one get one free. Of course I just bought a Bye Bye Pores pressed powder a couple days ago. They were doing 5x points on It Cosmetics that day at least, but no free brush. I wonder how the pressed powder compares to the loose powder.

I have both. Actually I have four It powders searching for the right thing... I prefer the bye bye pores loose to the pressed for controlling oiliness and setting my make up. The loose is lighter and less noticeable to me. But I like the presses to have in my purse with a brush for touch ups if needed because itβs less messy. There you go- a reason to go buy he loose and get the free brush! Youβre welcome.

I have several other powders and honestly don't see any big difference between any of them. I don't have a huge problem with oil and don't usually carry powder with me to touch up during the day. I have been carrying the Tarte sunscreen powder in my purse, that little thing is handy. I might go take a look at the brush and if I like it enough I'll probably get the powder so I can get the brush free. (I bought a Clinique stick highlighter in my last online Ulta order because I wanted the brush it came with. I don't use highlighter very often, and never in a stick or liquid form when I do. ) I think some of us need cosmetics anonymous!

Hi I did my rose clay mask again and it has firmed all my skin. Itβs not tight or dry, but itβs smooth and firm. I wouldnβt have believed it would do that until I experienced it myself. Firming, really? It is awesome! Itβs made by Origins and I got it at Sephora.

Does anyone know of a good retractible powder brush? I want something to keep in my purse. I am not a fan of the foam pad that comes with the powder. Thanks!

Hi so I am taking DDIL to the soirΓ©e tomorrow night at Sephora and I am going to get some shampoo and conditioner. Do I want anything else? I have lots of mascara. I am loving the Tatcha cleansing oil. OMG I love it. I usually have a purpose when I shop in there and I donβt buy stuff that looks cool. What do you have that you are loving? I need a new one Of these as mine has gone missing. www.sephora.com/product/custom-cover-drops-P394579?skuId=1676493 So there is that. I could also get a darker one as my skin is a bit tanned right now. Is there anything else from Tatcha that I might want?

I live by origins face masks. You need drink up intensive in your life, itβs incredible! Do I? I will check it out! If you have dehydrated skin I really recommend it. Itβs an overnight mask but I sometimes use it in the daytime if I am not leaving the house or wearing make up. Itβs also ideal for wearing during flights.

No parfum but it does have a slight apricot smell due to the apricot kernel oil in it

Ulta has the jumbo size shampoo on sale. 33 oz Redken is $14.99, which is less for the small size.

So DDIL and Iwent to the Sephora Rouge SoirΓ©e tonight. It was closed to everyone except us. They offered us water at the door and they had lots of product reps in the store and we could get unlimited advice. I went shopping.

The search function only turned up a few random his for Thrive... said thought I would pop over here with a question for the beauty product peas! I was going to order the mascara that several peas raved about on other threads. Does anyone have any other favorite products from there? Figured I might as well add another item to get up to free shipping π. Looking at their eyeliner or eye brightener if anyone wants to enable me!
