The search function only turned up a few random his for Thrive... said thought I would pop over here with a question for the beauty product peas! I was going to order the mascara that several peas raved about on other threads. Does anyone have any other favorite products from there? Figured I might as well add another item to get up to free shipping π. Looking at their eyeliner or eye brightener if anyone wants to enable me! Hi I think you need to order and write a review of your experience. Use words like compared to... and is better or worse than... I would like to see I loved... or I hated... for research purposes of course. Then write an essay. Photos and links as well as wear tests are most welcome!!! Any information you provide is helpful and very much appreciated. I wish you good luck as I am always looking for new, amazing makeup!

DDIL and I did face masks last night because we like doing them. We used the Irigins one and it burned her! She asked me if itβs supposed to burn??? Um no not at all. It is supposed to feel amazing. π’ I had her quickly wash it off and put on hyleronic acid to see if that would help and it did. It seemed so nice as I left it on for the timed 10 minutes and my skin today is awesome. Oh man I was upset after that. She was all pink from it.

Question: I gave my party gift from Sephora to DDIL and there was a sample of Orgasm lipstick in it. It is a micro sized lipstick and might only have 3 uses max. The colour looks amazing. I am not going to borrow hers because there is not much in the tube. Does anyone own the colour in the full size? Itβs expensive and I want to make sure I will like it. I have the blush, hilighter and lip gloss. I love all of them and I do have good luck with NARS. Thoughts?

I've looked at a 2 pack of little ones multiple times at Sephora & Ulta near the checkouts, and I wonder how they are. I am not a huge lip product fan, I find a lot of them too dry, or they wear off too fast or the color doesn't look the same on as it does testing it, or in the picture, etc... All that being said, I went to Ulta yesterday and they had Too Faced lip products B1G1 free so my daughter and I each got one. I got the Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick in Chihuahua and Britt got a Melted Matte one in Lady Balls

Has anyone bought anything from the Nordstrom Anniversary sale? I've never really looked at their makeup department before yesterday. I should've just stayed out of there. I'm a sucker for "free" gifts. We didn't have a ton of time last night, so I ended up going back today so I could browse when I didn't have any time constraints.

I like NARS lipstick generally-- it's a nice formula-- but orgasm is just too sheer and light for me, even though I am pretty fair. However, I have a lot of color in my lips naturally, so it tends to really skew how lip color looks once I put it on. I reeeally wanted to be in love with it because it is a "cult favorite," but it was a no-go for me. But I think if you like the color of the gloss when you wear it, you might like the lipstick, too. Ladies, today is National Lipstick Day. Ulta has a bunch of offers. I bought a couple of new MAC lipsticks so I could get a free one. Also, there is a new Anastasia Beverly Hills palette available: Norvina. Uh, I may have bought that, too. I hope I like it more than soft glam.

I will try to keep this short, but I had a facial yesterday and the lady said I had a ton of blackheads. "A TON!" She emphasized again. Geez, cool it lady. Then she asked about what I'm using on my face, and truth is, I'm trying to use up all the tiny crap I've been getting from my subscriptions, and seeing about 30 different brand names swirl in my head..."I don't know." This lady was really hating me.
Anyway, so my questions are...What's good for blackhead removal? She said I'd need a good exfloliant. She said the clarisonic isn't going to touch "what I"ve got going on." I do have some Murad that I used to use, but I stopped because I'm not seeing ACNE, do you think I need to go back to that, or try something for blackheads specifically? I really didn't notice my TONS of blackheads tbh. What do you all think? Any one have experience with blackheads?
And she said don't use a washcloth on my face. I did read that on here but I'm a wash cloth girl. And most of the black head cleaners I've seen like an EradiKate is a facial cleanser that you'd wash off, not like a wipe...so what do you all do, just splash water on your face and then....what?
So can someone talk to me about blackheads? I know it sounds gross. Thanks

Ummm. I use a washcloth and I have 24 of them. Lack of professionalism aside, I would talk to an MD over an esthetician about your TONS of blackheads which I highly doubt even exist. I am actually really irritated even suggesting something. One thing that might be beneficial is a peel off mask. Then I would leave feedback on Google or Yelp about your experience. Retinoids will help with blackheads. Go slowly and build up your tolerance to them. You could go on Retin A or get a serum from Sephora that has retinol in it. I also have a good exfoliator with Aha/Bha in it and it leaves my skin baby soft. My blackheads are pretty invisible. Itβs by SkinMedica. You can spend as much or as little money as you want.

Clarisonic will help heck anything you do. I would not go and do what I did and do a triple crown exfoliation. That was painful for about 3 weeks. You will get better advice from Sephora than her. If you are a beauty junkie you have good products in mini size and switch it up. Anything you do is still helping.

She sounds rude. Way to make some feel self concious. As far as the washcloths go, I'd just make sure the ones you're using are soft, closer to microfiber than traditional ones. Some of the washcloths I see in multi-packs are pretty rough. I am really consistent about nightly moisturizing, but am pretty willy-nilly with cleansers & treatment products. Dr Brandt has a "pore vacuum" I think it's called and Philosophy has one, I think maybe it's called pore extractor. They're both pretty good masks for pore clearing/getting rid of blackheads. I think I prefer the Dr. Brandt one. Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Exfoliating Peel Spray is awesome. It's expensive, but I love it. I take it in the shower and use it on the backs of my arms and elbows, knees & legs if I have some dryness/bumpy patches.

I use a Norwex makeup removal cloth on my face. It's very soft on my skin, gets the makeup off, then I follow up with a cleaner. Lately I have been using Pacifica cream to foam cleanser. I really like it. I use a Clarisonic, but don't use it daily. Frankly, the brush seems so harsh. I would rather be gentle with my skin on a daily basis. I only use the Clarisonic once a week. After I cleanse my face, I apply moisturizer. I'm lucky to have a husband who is an engineer in beauty and personal care. He brings home samples for me to try. I just tried Olay 7 in 1 moisturizer and really loved it. When the sample is gone, I'm going to buy a bottle. Op, have you tried Biore products for the blackheads?

Biore pore strips are the only thing that works for me to get rid of blackheads. Plus they're fun in a gross kind of way.

I'm loving this cleansing balm! It literally melts all away all of my makeup, even eye makeup with just my fingers. It's an oil based cleanser. I googled and found lots of cheaper cleansing balms but they all got mixed reviews. I'd recommend getting a sample from sephora to try for yourself. I went to Sephora yesterday and they were giving away free sheet masks with no purchase. www.sephora.com/product/green-clean-makeup-meltaway-cleansing-balm-P417238

I like it as well. I usually use the It cosmetics bye bye makeup and this is similar. I am not sure which I prefer. Currently I have a lot of the BBM from QVC so will use that up, but need to decide which I like better after that.

I would try a product with BHA in it, like PTR unwrinkle peel pads or something similar. They help with aging as well as clearing pores. I use microfiber clothes to wash my face. I use a clean one each day.

I have a Captain Obvious question. If you wear lipstick how do you get the colour to last? I find if I wear it I have to keep applying it every 2 hours. Is this fairly normal? I get terrible wear out of it. Is it just me? I like liquid lipsticks because they will last for hours but regular lipsticks I have to apply constantly. I need feedback please. Thanks!

Allegedly, if you apply lipstick, then take a tissue (separate it if it is 2-ply and use just one layer) and lay it over your lips, and lightly dust your setting powder over your lips, that will help keep the lipstick on. (You use the tissue to kind of filter the powder so your lips don't look, you know, powdery.) I haven't had good luck with this, but it might be because I keep trying it with a sheet of toilet paper-- I don't have facial tissues in the bathroom.

Iβve no idea what kind of coverage is it? i bought Dior cushion foundation about 3 weeks ago and have worn nothing else since Iβm obsessed, itβs low coverage but at the moment my skin Iβm told is flawless, which it is but I am covered in freckles. No patches, stays on my nose, and adding their spray foundation takes it up another level
