Figure I'd better get Christmas shopping started early this year. Any (new) neat gift ideas or stocking stuffer suggestions? I've already done throws, socks, GC's, mini flashlights, etc. Thinking maybe of getting DD a pink stun gun since she's living in a new apartment.

Both my boys are getting key finder-thingys (can't think what they are called). The Peas have recommended them before.

I did these key chains for my DH and older DS a year or two ago. They each keep an emergency $20 in there. It comes with a little clip and directions to help fold and roll the bill so that it fits. CashStash Key Chain

It's not groundbreaking, but I have bought two new flavors of burt's bees lip balm this year: chai tea and ginger lime. I bought the chai for myself and tried it, and liked it a lot, so I bought one for my sister for the holidays. And then I spotted ginger lime, which is one of my favorite combos (soap, diet coke, candles), so I bought it for my own stocking, but have not tried it yet.
I first found the chai at target, and then both at WalMart. I was surprised that I liked the chai one, because I don't like most of their flavored balms. And if you're at WalMart anyway, mine usually has a display of sheet masks for $3 each, if your DD is in to that.

I bought some things very much the same to hold pills and I was going to do money for me too, but they would have been great all for the people in my life for emergency money..

I don't know if this is new, but I discovered handmade pet memorial ornaments on etsy last year. I was past the point of a custom order in time for Christmas, so I'll be getting one this year. Here's an example. They seem to be in the $40-100 price range.

And of course they don't have to be only for memorial reasons.

I know these aren’t new but they’re things my family can use. New lightning cables, portable power bank things for electronics, I don’t know what else. Santa’s going to need a lot of help this year!

I love my power banks. I got them at office max for super cheap. I think I had to buy cables, too, but those were also cheap. (And that way I could match the cables to the power banks-- they were all in some display together. So I have silver and rose gold and it makes me happy that they match.) And I am surprised at how great they are; the power banks do a better job of charging than plugging my phone into the USB port of my monitor. I have two-- one to toss in my bag, and one to keep charged up at home. If I use the one in my bag, I put the charged one in my bag when I get home and plug the used one in to charge.

Great thread, I’m always on the lookout for good ideas for stocking stuffers. Thinking maybe of getting DD a pink stun gun since she's living in a new apartment. I’ll take “Things you’d never hear in Australia” for $50 Alex! 😂 Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying I’m necessarily opposed to the idea, but there’s no way they’d be legal here so your post made me chuckle. Heck, we’re not even allowed to have capsicum (pepper) spray here!

My DD wants to move in 8 months she wants a new phone so that what we did we set aside money from her birthday & this coming Christmas. So really all she will actually get is stocking stuffers. ( and Hanukkah socks ) so I guess I need consumables?
What do your college age girls use ?

Phone chargers are always in the stockings. We can’t have too many, They get left places close, or they break. I also like having them all over the house. I have one at my bedside, in the living room, in my scraproom, my desk at work and in the car. That way, I’m not moving one around all the time.
DD will probably get a candle in hers, DS probably some Google or Steam gaming gift cards. Candy, gum, and usually a favorite drink.

Mine are adults - I always put in vitamins and cold medicine. I picked up some small luggage scales, as they both like to travel. Muscle gel Hot/cold packs

Heck, we’re not even allowed to have capsicum (pepper) spray here! Oh, I do have pepper spray. We have coyotes, bears, bobcats, and an occasional mountain lion. Hmmm. I never thought of Colorado as being more dangerous than Australia! Just the other day, my husband saw what he thought was a bobcat sitting in the neighbor's driveway after dark. I went out because it wasn't moving. It was the largest freaking horned owl I have ever seen. It wasn't flying because it was snacking on a bunny. Yeah, so big it didn't even care a human was walking up to it to check to see if it was okay.
