OK, I've just ordered the materials to make this Sweet Pea Trellis Blanket but I can't decide if I like the "Posy" arrangement or the "Colorwash" one. Votes? I didn't need a new project but I just loved these colors and thought the pattern was simple but pretty.

I would choose the color wash because I’m not a random stripes fan, but I really don’t think you can go wrong with either.

Lucy from Attic 24 says that we're done with the green after this week, so it will be all the lovely bright flower colors after this. I haven't peeked at the finished designs of both blankets as I want to be surprised.
And as a side note, I love this crochet pattern! The pattern is interesting enough that I don't get bored, but repetitive enough that I can keep up with my tv show while I crochet.

RosieKat the colorwash would be my choice but really the colors are so wonderful I don't think I'd be disappointed with either.

I agree with the others that I would choose Colorwash, merely because I prefer my colours non-random. They're so pretty!

I am making great progress on my baby christening shawl. Border 2 of 4 is now finished, and number 3 is started - I'm about 5 or 6 rows in (of 82!). Our weather has turned gloomy any snowy again, so I will be stuck inside a bit for the rest of the week, so hopefully this will be finished by the weekend. I'd like the shawl itself completed and blocked by the end of the month.

These are actually from the fall but I'm just getting the video done for my channel. This post has the video and links to some of the patterns. The vest is my own design based on a vest I had and a pattern from one of the Treasury of Knitting Pattern books from Barbara Walker. Blog post with video This vest is stunning! Is that Malabrigo?

I went wool shopping with my mom yesterday, to attempt making thrummed mittens to hopefully keep my hands warm. I have Raynaud’s disease and have a hard time finding mittens that are actually warm enough. So far I’m thinking I’ll just make a big tangle of wool and shove my hands into it. That seems the most likely outcome of this knitting experiment (My mom does know how to knit and promises me I can come over any time I need help).

I haven’t been posting because my phone doesn’t like to post pictures here, but thought I’d try again. Here’s a hat I made during the Chiefs game yesterday. I ran across this navy blue fur at JoAnn’s the other night & had to have it - so found some yarn to go with it. These are my school colors. No real pattern, just hdc in blo dor the band & then hdc in spiral for the body of the hat until decreases at the top. Lion Brand Landscapes yarn & 7mm hook (5.5mm for band). (Hey! Pics worked! Maybe I’ll upload some more projects Yahoo!)

Fantastic makes everyone
I've started a flying geese quilt, I haven't made anything for like ever! I'm pleased with how it's going so far, this might not (probably won't be) the final layout.

lainey - Love the quilt top! With the gray background and the solid geese, it has a very modern feel. Great job!
