I don't think I've ever been so happy to see a team eliminated. When Bret and his teammate voted to U-Turn them, Rachel was beyond nasty. No class. I hope she Googles herself and reads this thread.

Rachel was nasty when she was U-Turned and her argument to them made no sense. They are strong competitors and of course teams would want to get rid of them (even if they hadn’t been nasty) Poor Colin - he does not have a lot of luck with cattle But the way they handled the U-Turn was night and day compared to the Reilly sisters.

I was SO GLAD to see Rachel and her sister gone!!! woo-hoo! I'm not loving the Afghanimals this season but I sure was rooting for them when it came down to them or Rachel and sister. I was very happy to see them running toward Phil first.

Rachel was so pathetic about getting U-turned. It's the game. I was wondering if they didn't get to the mat last if they would have had a penalty for leaving their clue envelope at the flower crown task and not taking it to the grass cutting task. I love all the other teams so I'll be happy to any of them win.

I was thinking the same thing - I was thinking that they better get a penalty for leaving their clue behind if they are not last to the mat. With all the legs that Rachel has raced and for as much as she kept bragging about it, you think she would have known better. I am glad they are gone. It will make the last few episodes so much more enjoyable to watch.

Rachel is one of most entitled people I have ever seen. For some reason I can’t figure out, she felt she shouldn’t have been exempt from being U-turned. Then to ask Christy if she could see their clue, that over the top. I’m SO glad she is gone.
I so hope that will be her very last time on Amazinging Race, or any show, for that matter.

I read online that Amazing Race fans overwhelmingly wanted them to be U-Turned.

How did you all feel about that public double U-turn voting? I thought it was an interesting twist on the regular way it is done and I liked it. I thought Colin and Christine handled their getting voted to U-turn very well-they took it as what it was, a compliment to their strength as a team and behaved in a sportsmanlike manner. Compare that to Rachel and her sister. Okay, I get trying to change the mind of the team who has the vote in their hands, but everything she came up with made no sense. If anything had I been Chris or Brett what she said would have made me even more interested in voting for her to do the U-turn! Rachel and her sister were voted to do the U-turn not because they were a threatening team but because they weren't liked.
I couldn't believe the Afgananimals got so lost on the way to the crossbow challenge! They almost got eliminated but I was really thrilled when Rachel and her sister got sent home. Like Skellinton said, it will make the last few episodes so much more fun and enjoyable to watch. Of the teams left I like everyone except for the Afgananimals.
Oh, I almost forgot when Christine was doing her zen thing with the cow and talking about how it let her get "close" to the animal's spirit or whatever I thought "yeah, I wonder how that Cheetah feels right now who's tooth you were wearing as a good luck necklace". That just continues to bug the crap out of me. I do like how Colin has been much calmer this season vs. the one they were on years ago.
The teams I'd like to see win are Nicole and Victor, Tyler and Korey, Becca and Floyd and Chris and Brett. Those teams I'd like to see win equally.
If none of them can win I'm okay with Christine and Colin or the Afgananimals winning. But my first choice is one of the 4 teams mentioned above.

Since it's come up a few times in this thread I thought I would mention that Colin posted on Instagram that they found the tooth in the jungle in Peru while on a retreat. Believe him or don't but I wanted to share.

I just wanted to pop on with some fellow Amazing Race fans to share that we are in Grindelwald and unknowingly we ended up in Glacier Canyon which is where they did the canyon swing this season. At the time nobody was doing it, but we did continue into the canyon and went on that large net that is secured above the river (where they retrieved a clue). I’m a geek and thought that was pretty cool!

I wish the teams got to write down their choice for who to U-turn then announce them publicly instead of just saying it in order. Partly so they had a minute to discuss it and also to sort of lock in their choice. Even though Chris and Brett said they chose Rachel and Elissa for personal reasons I do think it was a good game move because the Reilly sisters were in the back of the back and with the U-turn would likely finish last. The goal is always to to U-turn someone you don't think will make it. How awkward for Becca & Floyd to be on the mat with Colin & Christie after u-turning them! ha!

He and his wife went to Dubai the other weekend and he went to the picture frame thing and the tallest building where they virtually bungee-ed from. He doesn't watch, but it was fun for me to see his pictures.

Chris & Brett were eliminated this time. They had such a rough go at that detour. But in the beginning, when they said "as long as everything goes smoothly, we should be first this time" that it was kiss of death. It was a really good leg. I was glad Victor & Nicole caught an earlier flight. Tyler and Corey are a force.

We were happy to see Tyler and Korey & Victor and Nicole finish in 1st and 2nd. Both of the challenges were tough. I don't think I could learn that poem while riding the wave thingee! I don't think I've ever seen a team go back and forth between the two challenges so many times as Brett and Chris did.

I was sad to see Chris and Brett go but they handled it with charm. They just seem like a couple of great guys.
I was so happy that Victor and Nichole got on that stand by flight and came in second. I was smart of Korey and Nichole to work together on that marching men/red ribbon challenge.
While watching the challenge of everyone trying to learn that poem - I thought to myself...there is no way I could do the Amazing Race - those challenges looks so difficult, I'm not sure I could do them!

What was the marching men challenge?? I came in on the tail end of the show There were 18 soldiers and 5 of them had red ribbons on their helmets. They got into formation then hid behind their shields. The racer had to identify the soldiers with the red band on board to correspond with their position in the formation.

I don’t know how the Team Fun managed so quickly & by himself. Last night was the first episode that anyone that went home was going to be sad. I do have my favorite teams. However, I’ll be happy with any team that wins.

She had the red bands correct on her first try and went with the Afganimal picks. I was really surprised how hard the metal detector challenge was. Can you imagine if a few teams had been doing it? finaledition, how cool you went through the Glacier Canyon!

bc2ca that was Christy with the afghanimal.. Nicole was with Corey and he kept saying he thought it was position 5 and she kept saying 4... he was right but went with her choice.. They got smart when they finally split the floor in half... I agree it was perfect for Flyod (why does that look spelled wrong?) Since he was a drum major from high school thru college... he did great!! I sorta like all the teams left so I'm ok with whoever... EXCEPT the Afghanimals.. ughhhh they bother me... not as much as the Reilly sisters... but I'm not a fan..

That was a good leg of the race. Chris and Brett needed to just stick with one. If they had stuck with the poem one after the first time they would have beat Christy and Colin probably. They made a lot of bad choices along the race though so it was only a matter of time. I’ve been surprised that no one ever mentions Tyler and Korey when they have U-turns. They just got 1st 4x in a row! They have to see them as a threat. I didn’t like the Afghanimals last time and don’t really like them now. I didn’t see it mentioned but I died laughing when the one got all excited to see the stray cat😂 I had to rewind it because I didn’t know it was him at first! I’ve never seen him that animated and over a cat, lol. I think I want Korey and Tyler or Team Fun to win. I’d be ok with Nicole and Victor only because of him, she is just so whiney and he’s the one that has really pulled them along for the most part.

Teams always go up in my estimation when they are gracious losers and Chris and Bret certainly were, they had a tough leg, yet were able to go with good grace, and no crying or complaining. I don't mind who wins at this point, but I'm not loving team fun as much as everyone else is.
In my opinion Christy and Colin see to be getting the redemption/winning edit.
