Corinne and Eliza are still super salty... Eliza was rolling her eyes the whole ending... lmao
And leo and Jamal threw out a pea favorite... it could have been worse..
I thought it was a good season and knew that Tyler n Corey should've helped nicole n vic instead of other race teams..too much competition...

corinne & eliza are just bad sports, & should never be allowed on another reality show

I was sad Corey and Tyler didnt win..Colin and Christie were never my favourite but they were strong players every leg of the race and def deserve the win.
Id like to this the Afganimals cocky attitude caught up to Leo during the vault and karma came into play!

I have to admit I sort of stopped caring a little bit about who was going to win after Victor and Nicole got eliminated. Watching the whispering, shunning, etc., to their team just felt petty and nasty. I get that the teams aligned themselves with each other, often by show, toward the beginning. But to be that way at the end...can’t you just let it play out and each team play their own game? It just left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth. As it got closer to the end, I started caring a bit again. I knew I didn’t want the Afghanimals to win, and that didn’t change. As long as it took the one to open that safe had me feeling sympathy, but I was still glad it happened. At that point I knew I wanted Tyler and Korey or Collin and Christy to win.
I have to say Collin finally won me over by the end. I loved how he never got impatient waiting on Christy to complete that coding challenge. She put them in last place with that and he just hugged her and told her he was proud of her. Then when she was pissed at the cab driver (which I understand why, but that woman is still on the edge imo), he tried to calm her. Pissing off your cab driver right at the end, not so smart.
And yes, Eliza’s eye rolling at trend was s immature. No wonder her and that witch Corrine became such good friends. Even Victir, who had the final three teams all openly plotting against him, showed joy at the end for the winners.

I was hoping Tyler & Korey would win but Christine & Colin did play a good game too so I am happy for them, especially since they have really worked on changing their lives and attitudes.

I am happy for Collin and Christy. They have matured a lot over the years and definitely deserved the win - just like Tyler and Korey would have...they were awesome as well but if korey wouldn't have worked with Christy at the secret code task there may have been a different outcome.
Victor killed that secret code task. He is so amazing. They make the cutest couple - I can't wait to see what lies ahead for them!!

I hated Collin before but he did win me over.. not once did he lose his cool. The drum thing was understandable but he reigned it back in... So I am happy they won... It was a good show though... I love it when it is so close like that.

I like the way the final leg went, although I did laugh at them "walking" face down the building. I think being "slowly lowered" was a more accurate description.

That’s an interesting thought. If Korey’s assistance helped Christy in that challenge then it’s kind of apropos that it cost his team the win. They were so intent on keeping it a final three of TAR and making sure to push Vic and Nic out that they lost sight of the challenge itself. It was pretty dumb actually. And I agree, Vic kicked butt at that coding challenge and I loved it.

I wanted Korey and Tyler to win so much after Victor and Nicole got eliminated which was so sad. But I have to agree with Jackie, the 3 teams ganging up on Victor and Nicole that late in the race (the final 2 legs) and working together didn't make much sense, and it was so rude to Victor and Nicole. When you're that close to the million dollars working with another team, helping them can seriously backfire and hurt your own chances of winning-just like we saw when Korey helped Christine in that challenge with the code breaking. It was neck to neck at that point. Korey knew how to do it. I don't think Christine did. If Korey had just refused to help Christine he and Tyler might have very well won the race.
I was disappointed that Christine and Colin won. It still bothers me about that cheetah tooth. But I'd rather have them win than the Afgananimals.
It was a great season all in all. They went to some great places.
Jackie I'm so very sorry about your injury. What an awful thing to happen so early on your vacation. Do you mind telling us what beach your were at? Was it the Atlantic Ocean that did that to your leg? I've been to beaches at the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean. How horrible and I hope you are feeling better and not in too much pain now. I'll pray for you for a speedy recovery.
BTW, I'm also watching the old Amazing Race seasons on Hulu now. I've been going backwards seeing the most recent to the oldest. I'm on season 7 right now. I think it's 7-it's the season with Rob and Amber on it. When they first took away the possessions of the team instead of a speed bump I was shocked. I didn't remember that at all from the older seasons. Oh, and after doing that you had to come in first on the next leg or you got a 30 minute penalty. I too hated the teams having to beg in the poorer 3rd world countries so they could get a taxi or money for the train. I too am glad they changed to the speed bump.
They also used to have a lot more challenges involving animals and what to me was cruelty-the camel race with an electronic jockey on top that whipped the camel to make it go faster. I'm glad they have found a way to not use animals as much as they did before. I'm looking forward to the day they don't use animals at all for challenges.
Can't wait for next season!

I thought they were a couple and also considered themselves best friends? Either way, they were fun to watch. Loved this season! Edit: Okay, I checked google and apparently they are not a couple - just best friends who also do a podcast together. That was a little surprising but during the season I try not to google much since I am usually behind and don't want spoilers

I really enjoyed this season. I would also have liked to see Korey and Tyler win but I'm okay with the final three. Unlike most, I enjoy the Afghanimals.
I did not like Eliza and don't remember her being such a nasty person on Survivor. The eye roll was unbelievable but in character with her and her partner.

Aw, thanks so much Debbie. My injury happened in Rodanthe, NorthCarolina, whichus part of the Outer Banks, so yes, it was in the Atlantic. Just a very, very unfortunate thing.
I agree with all of your comments. I had forgotten about the cheetah and agree that doesn’t sit well with me either.
That’s too funny that we’re both working our way through Amazing Race, but from different ends!

I enjoyed this season and happy about the outcome, but would have been just as pleased if Tyler and Cory came out on top. One thing I liked is how (particularly the returning AR teams) seemed so grateful of each place they went. I loved that they realized how special this experience is. And I have to say, I was truly doubting Colin actually being different this go around- I thought for sure he would slip back to his old ways. That’s really admirable that he’s gone through such a positive transformation.
