I just read the chicken thigh thread and it had me thinking about things I eat that other folks might think are gross.
1. I love DRY, overcooked chicken breast. If a chicken breast is too juicy, I'm convinced it's undercooked and I can't eat it.
2. I love shitty Kraft boxed mac & cheese. I know it's shitty. I don't care.
What are your food confessions?

I like dry, well done beef and chicken, almost burnt bacon, dry oatmeal and non-gooey cinnamon rolls (I crisp them under he broiler) and crisp chocolate chip cookies.

I have yet to find a made-from-scratch mac & cheese recipe that I like as much as the good old Kraft blue box. But it has to be the one with the cheese sauce in a tin, not the powdered shit.

I concur with both of your statements. 😊 I was very anemic most of my life. I knew when my levels were going down because I would crave uncooked oats. I would just buy myself a tub of Quaker rolled oats and eat them by the handful. It was so odd. I'm under control now (thanks, hysterectomy!) and I no longer have those cravings.

I’ve never had Kraft or any other box mac and cheese. Does that count as a confession?
Other than that we love gravy granules 😬Normally I make gravy (and I know this means different things to different people) from the meat juices, stock, cornflour etc and it’s lovely but just sometimes gravy granules hit the spot 😉

I too love Kraft Mac and Cheese. And I love it even more with cut up hot dogs in it. And ketchup. Now to make myself sound not quite so trashy, I do love a good from scratch mac and cheese also!
Arby's Beef and Cheddar sandwiches. So fake, so yummy!
ETA-People call me Un-American, but I hate chocolate chip cookies. I'm the weirdo who far prefers oatmeal raisin cookies.

I like boxed kraft Mac and cheese.
I also like corned beef hash out of a can. I remember eating it once in college and one of my house mates was like “gross I could never eat meat out of a can” — I was like “whatever!” and dug in haha
Edited - I also looove home made Mac and cheese - I make it pretty often with Gouda and lots of bread crumbs and sliced tomatoes on top yummmm (Ina’s recipe)

I love well done steak.. not red in middle. I have never eaten or served by choice mac and cheese from a box. I make my own. I don't eat mayo.. my kids never had sloppy joes or casseroles or soup at home. I have a picky highly sensitive eater.

Fun sized Baby Ruth and Butterfingers bars cold out of the refrigerator. Must be refrigerated.
StoveTop stuffing. I love this heart-attack-in-a-box food. And am happy to eat a bowl with gravy on it for lunch.

I love the blue box Kraft mac & cheese, too. No fancy shapes, just the plain tubes. I don't care if it's made from powdered cheese whatever. I love it. However, the microwavable cup version gives me a stomach ache.
I make a mean lasagna for company. Think homemade sauce, fresh grated parm and mozzarella. But for an easy no mess dinner with just DH and I my "special recipe" is the Kirkland brand frozen meat lasagna that comes in a two-pack.
I prefer Duncan Hines yellow cake mix and the chocolate frosting from the tub to from scratch yellow cake. IDK, I like the texture. And I went to culinary school with a emphasis on baking! LOL!

I crave baked tofu. Nice and chewy.
But also, I ate a Shake Shack burger at the baseball game earlier this week - first time I've had beef in several months - and it was delicious.

For me it is Stouffer’s Frozen Lasagne. My younger son refuses to eat lasagne, so I’ve stopped making it from scratch- too much work if everyone won’t eat it. But I will make a smaller pan of Stouffer’s when he is at respite care. Comfort food x 10!

Speaking of Kraft macaroni and cheese, when I was in Canada earlier this year, I was surprised to see all of the flavors they had! I was also surprised that they call it Kraft Dinner (or KD), which is what my mom always called it. I may have packed quite a few boxes in my suitcase to take home.

My deep dark secret. I’m not crazy about most fast food, but I love the occasional deep fried Popeye’s chicken and every 5-10 years a trip to Long John Silver’s.

I prefer Cool Whip over whipping cream. I think because when I was first on my own I couldn't get whip cream to whip so I always bought Cool Whip. Not that I ever have it anymore, but I do like it.

I love to cook and will eat most anything but I am just as happy to eat chicken strips as go to a super fancy restaurant. I have eaten at French Laundry and I will still pick Chick fil a for dinner sometimes.
I love boxed Mac and cheese, stovetop stuffing, and cake mix
I sometimes crave a 7 eleven hot dog and a coke for lunch

I like Jif peanut butter. I am generally pretty damn picky about fresh, clean, whole foods. But damnit, I hate natural peanut butter.
Also, I like Peeps. Like one of the smallest packages at Easter and that's it's for the entire year, but I do look forward to them every year.

"KD'" is a staple in most Canadian homes. Macaroni & Cheese isn't a usual side-dish BUT "KD" by their own, stands by its self. Yes, I am Canadian. I love my beef medium to well-done, poutine and Butter Tarts, apple pie & Black Forest cake! I really don't like Mexican food and YES, I have tried the authentic Mexican food while in SolCal. The re-fried beans grossed me out - completely, and I couldn't even understand why rice & beans were even a staple in Mexican food. The restaurant was in Huntington Beach, in a small plaza that had an Ann Taylor store and few other stores. I don't like (or can tolerate) hot, spicy food. Avocado anything is also gross. Give me a roast chicken, mashed potatoes, tuna noodle casserole, roast beef or a steak, baked potato or fresh/roasted veggies any day. Add in some lobster, shrimp, blue mussels in a white wine sauce, crab legs, pulled pork, bratwurst, sauerkraut or a fresh breakfast & I am good. Add in coffee-crisp ice cream, any ice-cream made by Kawartha Dairy, a full turkey dinner, prime rib & Reo Thompson (Stratford, Ontario) chocolates, Nestle chocolates, Cadbury chocolates & REAL maple syrup & I am good. I would NEVER ever eat anything from a gas station. Maybe if there was a Tim Horton's but nothing else. Perhaps the gas stations in Ontario are different from the gas stations in parts of the USA.

Well as elaine mentioned earlier, since I am tangentially related to this thread I'll weigh in. I love a good filet mignon and oysters Rockefeller but if we're talking about grilled cheese, I'm all about the Velveeta

We don’t have any around here anymore, or at least where I think the risk of either being mugged or catching a food borne disease is worth the risk, but I miss that stuff! And the joy of digging through the “crumbs” and finding a giant one buried. That was always the best part.
