Even though I've been eating whole foods, plant based for the past 5 years, once every summer my son and I get 2 dozen Chespeake Bay Crabs steamed with Old Bay seasoning at our local place and have a feast. Do I feel guilty that these poor crabs were steamed alive so I can eat them? Hell yeah! Super guilty. But they are my favorite food and I only eat them once every year. They are so delicious and we are lucky to live right next to the Cheaspeake Bay so we get them really fresh. That's my food confession. Hanging my head in shame now. I feel like this is the most confessional confession on the whole thread! I did not see that one coming! =)

I confess to loving green bean casserole. However, it must be made with canned french-style green beans and full fat cream of mushroom soup and milk. I haven't had it in years because I don't eat that way any more. But put a casserole of that in front of me right now and I'd inhale the whole thing. I love that too, but mostly for the Durkee fried onions you put in it and on top. I used to eat them out of the can and my Mom would get so pissed! It's just not a green bean casserole without the Durkee fried onions!

My most favourite crap food is 2 hotdogs on toasted bread with cheese whiz, miracle whip, mustard and onions.
Yesterday at the grocery store I noticed you can buy a big shaker of the KD dry cheese all by itself. If I am going to eat Kraft dinner I will pick the presidents choice white cheese brand , a total comfort food

1. I hate crunchy things-no chips, crackers, cookies, etc 2. I love Kraft Spirals or Thick and Creamy mac n cheese 3. I can't use glassware-I drink coffee out of a huge green plastic cup. We have no glasses in the cabinet only plastic cups. 4. I love my meat rare-like super rare. I can't eat well done meat 5. I only eat dark meat poultry 6. I can't stand anything al dente

I also keep a container of it in our pantry year round. They get put on the table as a condiment when we have chili dogs here or chili over baked potatoes. Occasionally I put some in our salad to add some crunch and flavor.

I prefer butter and noodles to real spaghetti. I don’t really like pizza, but I love the frozen Red Baron one with 4 cheeses. One of my favorite snack is ritz crackers topped with cheddar cheese that has been microwaved for 30 -45 seconds. If a breakfast place has chocolate chip pancakes on the menu for adults I will order that without even looking at the rest of the menu. If my husband leaves chocolate anything I buy for him more then 24 hours I consider it fair game and eat it, Typically, even if chocolate chip pancakes arent on the adult menu, you can still order them at most places.

Due to this thread, I busted out one of my hoarded boxes of spicy cheddar Kraft Dinner and ate it instead of my original planned meal. Delicious.

I like a can of hormel chili, no beans mixed with a can of jalapeno cheddar dip mixed together and with fritos. 3chips and I can feel the salt drying me like a slug but those 3 bites are good! We eat noodles on top of mashed potatoes. Everyone I know am does it and its delicious but we get looks when we have out of state guests for holidays. My mom’s home made chicken and noodles over real mashed potatoes=carb coma

I just read the chicken thigh thread and it had me thinking about things I eat that other folks might think are gross. 1. I love DRY, overcooked chicken breast. If a chicken breast is too juicy, I'm convinced it's undercooked and I can't eat it. 2. I love shitty Kraft boxed mac & cheese. I know it's shitty. I don't care. What are your food confessions? I made some shitty extra creamy Mac and cheese the other day and it was not good. That said I will be eating the leftovers in the next couple of minutes. I also love KFC. They used to have these boneless extra crispy chicken boneless wings. I was disappointed they discontinued them (or did they I am not sure). I want them for dinner tonight. I miss them.

Love me some KD - and when I make it? I eat the whole box. (said in the most amazing man in the world voice) With ketcup on it. It has to be mayonnaise, not miracle whip. Grilled cheese has to be real cheese I slice myself, not cheese wrapped in plastic wrap (known as plastic cheese in my house). If I am making popcorn, it has to be oil popped with a ton of real butter & salt on it. It's how my Dad made it, and I'm pretty close to having mine exactly the same. I will sometimes crush a garlic clove and add it to the butter when I melt it and then remove it before adding to the popcorn. (now I'm craving popcorn!) I'm a diet coke addict. I gave it up a few years ago, and lasted well over a year. I never noticed any health changes for the better when I gave it up. I started drinking it again earlier this year. And I don't care how bad it is for me. Guilty pleasure? I have been known to buy hot dogs (has to be Schnieders Red Hots, no other weiner will do) and a can of pillsbury crescent rolls. Not the weiner wraps, has to be the crescent rolls. I don't triangle the rolls, I keep them as the rectangle shape so they will cover the whole weiner. And I will make 4 and then do the rest as crescent rolls. I have been known to eat all four in one sitting as well as the rolls for snacks the rest of the afternoon to hide the evidence from DH & the kids. I'm sure I have more!

I love my steak blood rare. I confess the last time I had Kraft Mac and cheese was probably 35 years ago. The thought of buying just the powdered cheese does intrigue me though. Cheese ....popcorn..... I am addicted to Diet Coke. At my age I figure I am going to die anyway, why not be happy?

In my work (10-12 hour day so it is dinner too)lunchbox every day; - Fresh Fruit salad prepared by the local grocery store - Cottage cheese with cherry tomatoes - A baggie of Goldfish Crackers, my own special blend with extra cheddar, paresian Goldfish and oyster soup crackers - A baggie of Lucky Charms - Yogurt - Two - three mini Banana Moon Pies Been eating this way for years. Not too much else really interests me and I am a very picky eater.
Oh, routinely make Carmel apples and if I get home early enough will eat one.

Velveeta does not taste like it used to (at least to my palate, anyway). So I am all about Crystal Farms processed American cheese food for my grilled cheese. I can't get Crystal Farms in my neck of the woods. I wonder if I should try the store brand? I think most people use Kraft singles... I think those taste funny these days, too, but I'll use 'em in a pinch. I have to really plan ahead if I need crystal farms, though-- my regular store stopped carrying it.

When I'm sick, the only chicken noodle soup I really want is Lipton's. I don't add as much water as listed and let it simmer until the noodles are super soft.

I generally eat whole foods, but when I'm in a slump, I confess to liking:
1. Canned: corned beef, corned beef hash, roast beef hash and vienna sausages. I'm pretty sure these cannot even be classified as "meat", but mmmmmmmm..... 2. Raw chocolate chip cookie dough. I know... I know... 3. Mashed potato flakes

I prefer Duncan Hines yellow cake mix and the chocolate frosting from the tub to from scratch yellow cake. IDK, I like the texture. And I went to culinary school with a emphasis on baking! LOL! Literally most of our childhood birthday cakes! I could SMELL this post! I agree; that shit's good! This is MY birthday request every year. I have to literally say “boxed cake mix” and “frosting from a can” or someone will try and be special and make it from scratch. Nooooooo, or I’ll just make it myself lol

I have to literally say “boxed cake mix” and “frosting from a can” or someone will try and be special and make it from scratch. Nooooooo, or I’ll just make it myself lol I have made some delicious homemade icing, but sometimes I just have a strong desire to eat the icing in a can...with a spoon, no cake needed. Don’t judge. Anything is better than that whipped crap they put on cakes in grocery stores these days. We use French’s Fried Onions here. I also keep a container of it in our pantry year round. They get put on the table as a condiment when we have chili dogs here or chili over baked potatoes. Occasionally I put some in our salad to add some crunch and flavor. Yes, it must be French’s to go along with the terrible Campbell’s Cream of Mushroom and french cut green beans from a can. I have only ever had one homemade version that was better than this, from a trained chef that just cooks on the fly. He tried to remember and write down the recipe for me. It was not good. Awful, actually. So back to the original for me! Like with black olives, we always buy an extra container of French’s because of how much we snack on them while we cook!

So many confessions. I only drink Diet Coke. Very rarely, maybe once every couple of weeks I drink a glass of water. I often make a giant pan of popcorn and eat half of it for dinner and the other half for breakfast the next day. Potato chips are a special treat for me. I never buy them but dh brings them home for me on occasion. I eat the entire bag in one sitting. Unless it's a family size, then I eat half of it and the other half the next day. Also, Big Macs and McD's fries!! I’m really trying hard to kick my potato chip addiction ! Seriously. Plain, ridged ones are my weakness. The saltier - the better. They are a quick fix, fill me up and I love them. And their cousin, Cheetos. Oh, and the same with popcorn. Eat half for dinner and eat the other half for lunch. 😊

I thought of another one. I don’t like long noodles like spaghetti and fettuccine. I like short noodles like penne. My brother is the same way and my mom thinks it’s so bizarre because she loves spaghetti.

I refuse to eat a hot dog that isn't Schnieder's. Right now I don't have anyone to hide these from, so I eat them in full view and enjoy every last tasty bite!
