I'm not surprised. That water is gross though. I've seen the holding tank on a backstage tour. It has to be drained periodically to get all the junk people throw in it out, and you always see people sticking their hands in it.

Hum...if the price was really great and I loved everything else about the house, I would plan to put in a really great bathtub after buying, but if it was apples-to-apples with another house and that was the difference, I'm going with the house with the great tub that I don't have to remodel. Ultimately, it is a necessary luxury for me.

That is an expensive lesson to learn! It’s an old scam that makes its rounds in new ways. The first time I saw it, scammers had “accidentally” sent a check to someone that was too large and asked them to wire back the extra. By the time the check bounced, it was too late.

No - you can only see people that are in the same circle as you. For instance, I have a circle with my DD, and she has another with her dad and stepmom, and another with all of her friends. I only see DD.

The cheapest option when this happened with my DD was to buy a new phone, move the current number to the new phone, and put a new number on the old phone. I kept paying for the old phone. It was cheaper than cancelling the contract on the old phone, but I was closer to the end than you are. You'd have to do the math on 2 years!
Also, you might be able to switch numbers around on more than one phone if someone else doesn't mind waiting longer for their upgrade.

Well, I don't know, but right now, I can't GET my Ozempic. I am due to take my next dose on Sunday, and it controls my diabetes really well. Its been "on order" for weeks, and the pharmacy can't tell me when they will get more. A plane ticket might be less of a headache than the phone calls and tracking down the medication, especially if I lived in a border state.

I feel this is basic relationship info that should be shared before the first date. In real life, it should be on your Tinder bio. If the 2nd person involved isn't interested in that type of relationship, he (or she, if this wasn't the bachelor) shouldn't be picking that person over someone else.

I really like the Healthy Back Bag for travel. They are lightweight, and you can move them to a thousand different positions. They have a backpack sized one, if you don't mean a suitcase-size-backpack. My preferred size is the small, but my travel preference for carrying on my person is to carry as little as possible, even though there are things I need to carry.

My initial gut feeling is $1200, and I think that's pretty close. The makeup would add up fast, I bring jewelry options, and I would probably have 3 changes of clothes to give me choices.

I play on my iPad or work while getting increasingly irritated at the hold messages. I might start talking back after a while. "If my call was SOOOOO important, you'd have someone to answer it!" and "If I could get the answer on your stoopid website, I wouldn't be waiting here."

The thing that cracks me up is when something at Goodwill or the like has the store tag on it and is STILL priced higher. I've seen it a lot lately.

How long will you have? Within the airport itself, I can only think of restaurant or grab-and-go type options, but you could send a member of you party by Uber to somewhere close OR to set up a delivery to the Hyatt at the airport.

I offered to do a party for my parent's 50th, but they didn't want all that. We did get all the kids and grandkids there for dinner at a nice restaurant, and we snuck pictures to do fun Facebook posts.

DD is the same age. She and her friends are renting a cabin, and I am not asking. I’m happy they will be all in one place and not driving. I’ve given her drinks with me, but I don’t supply for group events since that could be risky legally.

I have a cream cheese board planned for salmon and lox later this week. There will definitely be serving utensils. I almost did one at my wedding in November, but time was the enemy once it started raining, and many "fun/nice to haves" were nixed.
For the record, when I am eating chips and dip, I break the chips into smaller pieces. I prefer the chip to dip ratio that way.

DD is 20, so they just go out as they are wrapped. Despite way too many animals, not a single present was prematurely opened. We had a huge tree full at home, and I transported a lot to my folk’s house while Paul transported the rest to his. This is the first time I remember when we haven’t opened one gift on Christmas Eve - no one even mentioned it. But the stockings are stuffed, and we’ll have lots to open tomorrow.

I've recommended Blood Sugar 101 a lot - it was a God send to me when I was just learning. It helped me figure out the right ranges for me and how to determine how to get there. You should be fine with keto or very low carb if that is what you like as pre-diabetic. jeremysgirl described what I feel like when I have low blood sugar, which would make sense as a full-blown diabetic eating low carb since since her pancreas wasn't producing enough insulin. Since you are pre-diabetic, yours is most likely still producing enough to keep you from getting too low or too high. For myself, I prefer lower carb (but not really low - 90-120 net carbs a day balanced between meals and snacks) - it works for keeping my blood sugar in the right ranges and I lose weight when I stay on the lower end of that. I know everyone recommends cutting soda these days, and if you can do it, I think it is a good idea. For me, I stick with diet or "zero" sodas for the caffeine. I don't like to "drink" my calories/carbs, but I also tend to avoid giving anything up all together, because that becomes all I want!

I called Derek and Claire from the first episode - there is some amount of advantage from being on another reality TV show, plus they are both just sharp. I really liked them on both shows and good competitors, so that's OK with me. I think we'll see Emily and Molly on another season. They were so well liked, had a great attitude, and did great against the odds.

People already give kids devices without headphones to listen to at full volume. That said, I would use it to work at times, especially on a long flight. Why not get in 1/2 a workday when I am just sitting in a seat with nothing else to do? The Internet service you get on planes now is very limited, so if I need to work, I download files before boarding.

In my experience, doctors are all over Google, even old doctors. My grandfather passed away when I was 7, and I can still find journals, articles, memberships, education information, etc. And just yesterday, I googled my childhood pediatrician when I saw a local doctor who I thought might be his child, and even though he retired 20 years ago and passed away 10 years ago, there he was. This sounds awfully fishy, but if they don't show up on Google, its even more fishy.

I was on the old single ladies thread and enjoyed it. I was dating at the time, but I "graduated" earlier this month. I'll just say that kissing (well, chatting with and dating) a lot of frogs was worth my time.

I would ask his preferences. I'm eat low carb, but since substitutes often have sugar alcohols that don't sit well, I would rather eat less of something prepared normally. Thanksgiving is meat-heavy, so it has plenty of filling options.

I have a version of this bag. It has held up well and has slid right under the seat in all but one flight I've been on (it had a bar down the middle). I guess it technically doesn't have a laptop sleeve, but I have never had any issue putting in right in front of or behind the plastic divider at the front. Its convenient to get out for security.

That sounds disappointing. We received undercooked fried pickles last night, and just as we were about to say something, the waitress asked us if they were bad because another table had complained about theirs. When we said they were undercooked, she didn't even hesitate - just said she would be back with another order. It sounds like it was night and day from your experience!
ETA We share a meal in this place, and apparently, the portions are so big that it is common. Despite sharing a meal, we still had leftovers. It seems like everyone has huge portions now!

I wonder if he was behind on whatever stats he has to meet and panicked. Not OK, but it reminds me of some weird things local fast food restaurants that are timed do.

This sounds like terminology and they are the same thing. Teams is a program that does more than just meetings. One of the ways you can start a meeting is using the New Meeting or Meet Now buttons in Outlook or Teams, so maybe this company has adapted its own terminology.

Congratulations! I got married this weekend and totally wore a princess dress. I kept it tea length in front to make it a little more casual, but it still had a little train. I found it on Etsy for a reasonable price, but I ultimately made up for any cost savings in alterations.
