This might be a bit ambitious and I might have to move some to April but let's see • Scrap March 2022 photos • print March 2023 photos • scrap March 2023 • scrap March 2023 -Williamsburg • scrap March 2012 • scrap March 2022 -Williamsburg • March 2012 San Agustin - were these printed? If not, print them • Easter cards • scrap January 2024 I like how you are focusing on March from various years - good approach!

PinkFresh makes great embellishments. I also love Elle’s Studio, especially their puffy stars!

Also curious about everyone who is using up their Nuvo drops. I am wondering if I should pre-make some dots before mine dry out. Enamel dots are pricey and I have these and would hate to waste them. I have premade them and used them. I used a liquid glue to glue them to the page and that worked. It was nice to see how many colors I have (too many ) and I was more likely to use them than if I was going straight from the bottle. Now I'm more confident with them and plop them right on the page. I premake them as well. I actually prefer that because then there’s no chance of smearing them on the project while they are wet. I use micro glue dots to adhere them, but may also try liquid glue.

I totally agree! I don’t know why companies keep making items with epoxy, since we all know it yellows. I really have to give myself a talking to when I’m trying to resist cute epoxy embellishments, especially Doodlebug! I have occasionally bought the tiny stars and tiny hearts, but pass on all the rest, ESPECIALLY the white items (no one needs a yellow snowman!). I wish they would use a different material than epoxy, even make them puffy stickers!

Worth checking out. I’m still slowly replacing the WRMK ‘leather’ ones that look like they got into a fight with a cheese grater. And lost. That’s a great way to describe it!

The Target version of the Kallax is a bit smaller. It might not fit albums, but they'll still hold 12x12 paper. (the 13" will hold paper. The 11" doesn't) I would watch Facebook Marketplace or thrift stores for some good deals. When I've been shelf shopping I actually take a couple of what I plan to store with me to measure. My husband thinks I'm nuts, but it means I don't buy stuff that won't work. The Target versions I have fit albums just fine. The BH&G version from Walmart, however, is a smaller opening and won’t fit WRMK albums. Some of my BH PL albums fit, and some don’t.

I used to love everything PF put out. But over the past 2 years, almost all of it feels very much the same to me. The exception being their travel line and the blue and green collection (too lazy to look up the names). Pastels and florals are not my jam. So I’m sad to say this one is probably a total pass for me. I could have written this word for word. ITA.

I like to have a paw print of My pets. I use the Crayola model magic "clay". It is easy to work with and very light weight. Or of course with ink, just make sure it is washable and non toxic. I’m so sorry - it is such a heartbreaking loss. I was also going to suggest a paw print. The animal hospital did that for us when we lost my 12-yr-old a few years ago. I would not have thought of it, and it meant the world to me that they did that.

Continue to not start a layout until the previous one is off my desk (unless there is a very good reason to put it aside and not finish it.) Continue to whittle down the pile-of-shame. Currently it's at 32 half-finished layouts, I'd like it to be 25 or less by the end of the month. 29-4-29 Get 5 pieces of memorabilia out of the overflowing memorabilia bin and into a scrapbook (however that needs to happen, either scrapping it, or putting it in a page protector in the appropriate album.) Work on October Daily. I've done 5 pockets so far, only 26 more to go... Ha! I am totally using this! Pile of shame!

Now that I’ve seen sneaks of the new collections, I’m glad I didn’t sign up. Too much floral and pink. I still have lots left over from previous events, and struggle to use all those florals and pink. The last two events at least had travel in one and more earthy tones in another to balance. I really don’t need more product I can’t use.

Santa “Clause” instead of Claus. Ali Edwards has done that multiple times.
Many, many stamps from Kelly Purkey have had errors.
Simple Stories School Life kit has a die cut that says School Is Amazing! Meh. Just Fine Overated
I contacted about the “overated” and asked for a correction or even a digital file. They never responded to me. It also bothers me that the first two options end In punctuation, but the last two don’t. (Is that past tense for overeating?) 😂

I think it was MME who put out a Christmas line which included the month named Decemember. Yes they did, but if you contacted them, they sent a corrected replacement.

With Shimelle, I always sign up with a bit of reluctance, knowing it will likely be late and not everything that is promised, but what I do get is generally still worth it, and I’m really behind on classes anyway. I love her and what she brings to the community. So I, like many others, give her a pass. That said, it is completely unprofessional and disrespectful of people’s time and money, and taking advantage of the kindness of the community. Women all over the world work full-time jobs and manage their kids’ activities and make it work. She needs to figure this out. Do you not feel cheated that you paid for 'xyz' and only got part of that AND it was late? Sure, if you got everything promised then whatever you paid was (obviously) worth it to you. But is it still worth the full payment that you'd made if you don't get those things? I guess I go in expecting it, so I don’t feel cheated, just annoyed. I enjoy what she does provide, I know she’s going to say she will offer extra stuff and it never happens. But her price point is low compared to a lot of others and for what she *does* provide. So I wait. I did buy the yearlong class because of the discount, knowing that it would fall behind. I wish she would put effort into her paid content and take a pause on her free lives until she catches up. And I wish she would communicate in ways other than her lives, because I don’t have as much time to watch those.

Mine are in an enclosed closet with no variance in heat or cold, and they're doing the same. Some of them are sticking together. What I thought was a great album for my layouts is turning out not to be. I'm disappointed. And I paid a lot of money for them! Same. Mine are sticking to each other, sticking to the bookshelf, and peeling off the cover. It’s terrible and so disappointing. Kiwi, aqua, all of them! My AC linen covered albums are holding up great, except for all the pet hair that sticks to the fabric, but a lint roller takes care of that.

Vertical all the way. Some are in paper holders, which are easy to slide out, and others are in the 13x13x13 canvas bins that I can slide out and thumb through, although those can get a bit heavy.

I buy my foam adhesive from SBC. They now have foam tape rolls in different thicknesses too - 1, 2, and 3 mm. I really like their 1/8” strips - great to pop up journaling strips or use on die cuts.

I have done past ones and will most likely sign up for this too. You get everything in the collection (except the 6x6 pad) and the value of the product alone exceeds the cost. The teachers are great. I, too, prefer just layouts. In the past, I’ve taken the pages of the mini albums (usually tags or very small) and use them on LOs as accents or make a grid LO. The classes don’t usually feel too rushed, and you get a break in between. I like having the instructions as a pdf because I can zoom in on the images. I hope you enjoy it!

The other problem with AC pads I’ve noticed is that not all of the patterns shown on the cover are actually in the pad, or may be in the pad in a different color. I’ve been burned by that when I ordered one and the paper I liked most wasn’t even in the pad. I messaged them about it and never got a response.

Story Play sneaks are out, I received an email yesterday. Looks like another b&w album and each of the 4 themes packaged in Kraft envelopes, with separate stamps being sold. A blog post coming next week then the kits go on sale Friday. I’m definitely interested. If you’re on Instagram she shows the contents of all 4 kits and the stamps on the latest IG live video. I finally figured out how to fast forward those 😂 The kits are great. I was hoping to resist FOMO buying them since I still haven’t opened the last Foodie & Read kits, or any of last years Story Play kits from her 🤦🏼♀️ but I don’t know that I will be able to Ha! I like the look of the album but I’m not getting it. I haven’t been happy with the quality of the albums lately. The DD albums were not great. Really wish they would bring back some linen albums with different colors. The yellow & pink linen albums from past WITL are two of my favorites that I have. Citrus Twist has 6x8 linen albums with the larger spine and 6 rings in the same configuration as AE, are there are several gorgeous colors to choose from! They also have 4x8 TN size (the original).

Photoshop Elements is probably the most common software used by digi scrappers, and you can still get it as a single purchase without having to sign up for a monthly subscription (like you do with full Photoshop). Bonus is you can use it for editing your photos too. You can download a free trial to see if you like it.

I don’t have experience with their flair, but ALL epoxy will eventually yellow, some just does it faster than others. That’s why I have to restrain myself from not buying all the cute Doodlebug epoxy embellishments. No one needs a yellow snowman.
