I bought a new kallax unit about a month ago, which sent me down a rabbit hole and now I have kallax along two walls of my room, and a whole new organizational system for almost everything lol. I have not scrapped since I picked up the first shelf, but I am loving my room and organizing everything. There has been some purging also. I think I am going to really like it once it is done.

I still have to work (911 dispatcher) but my co workers and extended family are being irresponsible (imo). One of my coworkers is on the way to the casino to have some fun tonight :/. My parents (in their 80s) are still going dancing with friends, out to eat etc.
The last place I went besides the grocery store was drive through at Starbucks.

I am a 911 dispatcher, so all of us are essential employees. We have a very generous benefit package all of the time, but I am not sure if anything new is in place for someone who may have to quarantine or who gets the virus.
That said, one of my coworkers tried to come to work sick, and they sent her home. I was so thankful.

What do you like about your space? I used to have part of a large family room, then I became an empty nester and about 2 years ago, took that stuff into one of the extra bedrooms and made that work. About a month ago, I bought one bookshelf and that started me down a rabbit hole and I have completely redone my space. I love it. I do wish it were larger, but I have really made the best use of everything, purchased furniture that fits and organizing tools that work. I am ecstatic. I never decorated the space when I moved in 2 years ago, so now I am and I am really loving it. It is still in process, and I am getting a whole lot of organizing done, but not much scrapbooking lol.
What do I not like? I do wish it were bigger, and I'd love a sink in there, but otherwise I am really loving it!
Everything is working great right now, but if I could change something I would probably get new flooring and more overhead lighting.

Super aggravated with people also. My parents (80s) will not stop socializing w/ their friends, eating out, going dancing etc. My kids (20s) won't stop hanging out w/ friends, going to bars etc.
I am in the essential functions group (911 dispatcher) and can not do my work remotely. I am in the high risk group (auto immune disorder/meds, recent surgery) and have to go to work. I am stocked up at home already, but depending on how long this lasts, I will run out of medications.
For now, I am going to and from work, nowhere else and limiting contact w/ others (including my family).

I am a "prepper" by nature. I have not done anything differently this time, because I always keep a stocked pantry, freezer, fridge. My life will be affected if I am not able to refill medications, and when my perishables run out. I have RA and none of my medication would be life threatening immediately if I was not able to take it, but I would be in a lot of pain for sure. I currently have 1 month supply (at least) of all my meds, so hopefully that won't happen.

I got the puffy hearts. The other items were just too pricey for me right now. Same. I got the puffy hearts. I liked the other embellishments but was put off by the price.

Just for fun, here are some outdoor edition questions:
Do you have a pool? (or building access to one) No, I grew up with one as a child, but it has been years since I have swam.
Do you have a trampoline? no, my kids did when they were younger
Do you ever take full day trips to explore places close enough to where you live? yes, often Do you live near a big park where you go for fun? a 1 hour drive would get me to a nice park, but I rarely go
Do you live near a place good for hiking, biking, or trail-walking? yes
Do you have a big backyard? yes
Do you live near a nature body of water that you go to for fun? no
Does it snow where you live? no Weather-wise, what time of the year do like the most? spring, right now for us If you could choose permanent daylight savings time, would it be Fall back or Spring forward? I live in AZ and the majority of the state does not observe daylight savings time at all.

I pulled out a kit I put together during the week and thought I could quickly pull it together. That was hours ago. Once I pulled it out I changed my mind and started hunting for my baby clothes dies. I should never put things in a "special place", they disappear forever. LOL So, grammadee , do we post here and in the sharing thread, or just here? Little Fashionista nylene I love the page and can totally relate to the "special place" problem lol! What a little cutie!

Of course check w/ her DR. but I worked w/ a child while I was teaching that had epilepsy and went to John Hopkins for a trial for the keto diet. He was right around your daughters age. He was having hundreds per day prior to starting the diet.He was completely disabled, unable to walk, speak or anything. After starting the diet (and was watched very closely buy his medical team) they diminished to zero. it was a complete amazing transformation.
Side note, after getting home, he began having seizures again. His mom was beside herself because she was literally weighing every piece of food the child ingested. She could not figure out why he was starting to have seizures again. So, she "followed" him around and eventually saw him going into the dog house and eating dog food from the dogs bowl. Once she stopped that, the seizures stopped again.
He was able to start kindergarten w/ an aide for support, mostly for his medical/food needs.

Work has ridiculously busy for so early in the year this week. I am probably going to end up with 7 hours OT and no hours scrapping till the weekend. So happy the month ends on the weekend though! Time to get maybe one more LO in! christinec68 and jeremysgirl yay for the return of scrappy mojo!! teacherlisa that is a lot of organizing points! Organizing can sometimes make me want to scrap. There's something to that having a clean, organized space that sparks creativity. I’m totally hoping that’s what will happen!

I liked/purchased the stamp. I did not need binder clips and I was not a huge fan of her TN. I am going to use a TN that I already have in my stash, or possibly a different album size altogether.

The 2Peas Refugees have spoken and elected March 6-8 for the megaaa crop weekend. And it's coming up real soon, now! Come in and make yourself at home. Share whether you'll be participating all weekend long or only on select days, play along with the first challenges and share how you're getting ready for the big weekend! Challenge #1: prep a crop kit. The better prepared you are for those three intense days, the more chance you stand of being productive. A crop kit ideally includes: - pattern paper + coordinating cardstock - matching embellishments - matching alpha stickers - stamp sets + inks - your adhesive(s) of choice Challenge #2: make a list + print photos. - which events do you want to scrap during the crop? - which cards do you want to make during the crop? - which unfinished project do you want to work on? - which specifically themed embellishments do you need to fish out for these pages and cards? - which photos still need editing + printing? Let's get prepping! Hi! This was super super fun last year!!! I am in again for this year! I will be around Friday morning, Saturday morning, and all day Sunday. I will be placing a photo order between now and then. I (in theory) will be scrapping Dec,Jan and Feb photos, but we shall see for sure. My scrap room has been completely taken apart (its a good thing, new furniture etc) so this will be challenging. Between now and the crop I will work at getting it back together, and ordering photos.

I follow shannanm.com - she made a 100 songs that changed my life album recently. www.shannanm.com/single-post/2019/10/16/I-Got-My-Printed-Book-Back---100songsthatchangedmylifeI think any kind of album about songs and concerts and music is a great idea. I don’t know if you have concert memorabilia or other ephemera that you’d want to put in, but the good thing about doing a music themed album is how much imagery you can find online to add in. Not sure if you’re a wordy scrapper - I am, but I don’t have a lot of good words for music, so I think I’d go pretty minimal on the journaling like Shannan did and focus more on collecting some of the album cover art that reminds me of the songs. I am planning to lift this one.
