When she isn't wearing a wig or has extensions, this is what her hair looks like I'm not clicking on the link because I prefer to see the way her hair looks with the extensions. I still think she looks beautiful.

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: Last night I watched the movie The Dressmaker, with Kate Winslet, on Netflix. Worse viewing of the year for me. Stay away. Thank me later. I loved that film and would recommend it!

I loved that film and would recommend it! Huh! Kate Winslet is probably my most favourite actor of all time, that’s why I watched it, and I didn’t like anything at all about the story. Nothing. Especially the ending. And I thought the acting by everyone, except Kate, was overdone.

I finished Normal People last night. I was impressed. Read the book and felt meh about the book. This is very artsy and slow and a LOT of nudity so if you are not comfortable with that you've been warned. But it really sucked me in. The way it is shot is absolutely beautiful. (It's on HULU) I started watching this a couple of days ago and I’m hooked. Kind of disturbing but I can seen this happening in real life. The differences between men and women and perception and sensitivity to others. Very beautifully done.

SUPERINTELLIGENT (‘20 HBOmax) starring Melissa McCarthy. I seem to love everything she’s in.
FATMAN (‘20 Vudu / AmazP) starting Mel Gibson. Not your typical Christmas movie. Santa vs an assassin. Very good for something different.

Liking the Spanish Princess so far. Yeah, it's soap-opera-y, but so were their lives if you read the history.

ATMAN (‘20 Vudu / AmazP) starting Mel Gibson Mel's on the do not watch list - wife abuser, racist, anti-Semitic & a Holocausts denier. You couldn't pay me to watch anything he's in.

but I didn’t realise he was also a Holocaust denier Maybe not openly but his father was very outspoken on the topic and Mel has said vaguely that he agrees with his fathers views and when he's been asked specifically he usually dodges the question.

We have 2 episodes left of season two of The Boys on Prime. We enjoyed it! A fun spin on the superhero genre. Lots of sex and violence. 😄

We're really late to the game but have recently started watching Longmire on Netflix. We like it because, although there is an underlying storyline, each episode wraps up the murder/mystery from that episode. And we love Lou Diamond Phillips! All these years I thought he was part Native American and was surprised to find out he's Filipino-American!

Last night I watched * David Foster Off the Record * on Netflix. Someone upthread had recommended it, I couldn’t find it to quote it. But, thanks. I really enjoyed it. Now I want all of those spectacular songs. 😊

So we just finished a puzzle of Van Gogh’s The Church at Auvers. I decided we had to watch the Dr. Who episode where he sees a monster in the window of the painting. Now I’m hooked all over again that was such a great season with Matt Smith at his best. Love Amy Pond and Rory. It’s really good escape TV for being stuck at home in the winter.

We watched the episode of The Chef Show with Jon Favreau and Roy Choi and with Christine Tosi from Milk Bar and really enjoyed it. So much that DH wants to make her cornflake cookies and we are plotting to visit her LA restaurant when things calm down. Funny that I wasn't really a fan of Christine on Master Chef but really liked her on this episode. I will definitely work my way through this series. I watched Wild Wild Country a couple years ago when it first came out and DH started watching last night. He prefers one off documentaries to a series but I kept telling him he'd get sucked in. He watched 3 episodes before dragging himself off to bed.

We watched the 4-part series Deadwater Fell starring David Tennant. We love just about everything he's been in but decided, after-the-fact, that this was too dark and depressing.
