KikiPea, your Valentines Forever layout is precious. I love the photo props and the frame. What a sweet couple. It's unusual in these days to be together for that long. We have been married 51 years but most of our friends have not. It's great when you find Mr. Right right away! Beautiful work on this layout. Thank you so much! And yes, it’s very rare. Congratulations to you two! 🥰

This LO is for a Kim Jensen challenge at The Lilypad. The challenge was to use 5 different types of flowers from Kim's product range, and it had to be a new LO done for this challenge. This may look familiar because I had already done a one page LO using the left hand side of this, back in January. I added a few things and turned it into a two page LO for the challenge. I used the 'Garden Pop' kit, bags from the 'Brown Bag Bliss' set, and 'Stitched Down Folded Paper' alpha, all by Kim Jensen.

Here are my Mothers' Day cards I shared on the Card making board. I used SSS flower/greenery stamps and TE greeting stamp to experiment with different finishes. For this first one, I did the greetings with my computer and printed onto a piece of SSS pp. I then stamped it and embossed with white. I used water colour pencils and a water brush to colour the flowers and leaves: mothers day '20 one by Gramma Dee, on Flickr For these, I used the same stamps, but tried both clear and white embossing powder, set with my heat gun, then ran through the Minc with foil. The one worked really well, but I messed up the other (far right below), so I did a second image on scrap cs, coloured with the pencils, then fussy cut and popped it up. One I just heat embossed with clear ep before colouring. mothers day '20 by Gramma Dee, on Flickr Four cards, created & shared (8). Flat easy peasy scoring for 5x7" cards (60). Total: 68

This LO was created a few weeks ago during a ZOOM class with our LSS. I didn't share it then b/c I was not happy with how messy my gluing was on the diecut. I since have added liquid glue to the messy parts, and added some gems. The class sample had a couple of photos on the second page. I decided to just include a quote instead. beautiful by Gramma Dee, on Flickr Going Easy Peasy on the points here. Two pages created & shared (4). Easy Peasy points for two 12x12 pages = 40. Still just working with what I have on hand to create LO’s for my DH’s birthdays. I borrowed this design from a design team member from Paper Issues. I think I commented on most of page four, but missed this one (Hey Sugar). LOVE it! I am currently viewing a Shimelle class on Scrapbook.com that shows how to put the weight of the page in the top LEFT, but I really like to put the weight on the bottom RIGHT of the first page of a double spread, and this page does that PERFECTLY! And I love those ecclectic cloud shapes! Great page, KikiPea ! I snipped and printed it so I can lift it in May.

Catching up on my comments today. Page 4 KikiPea - Your You Are My Sunshine page is so appealing. I love pages that have the big text background, yet, I never seem to do it myself. It sets up your photos perfectly! The "Glamour Shots" page gave me a giggle if just because of your description. But I do love the Black and white background and then all the color embellishments. And your page about your DH's Birthday is wonderful! All the layers and then the clouds and other embellishments are perfect! You certainly have a way with patterned paper! joblackford - Your "Hello" cards are so wornderful. Just so bright and sunshine filled! And versatile for many occasions. I love your Disney pages. They way you did the map is awesome! You did learn some skills!! And the Wizarding World is great with small, medium, and large photos. And those IACB elements are perfect. I bought those too, but have not used them. kitbop - You are another person that rocks the patterned paper! I just love seeing how you use it. The Head Over Heels with the half rainbow and the embellishment clusters is perfect for the photos. And of course I had read read the journaling after you said not to on the Mrs. Lynde's Hat page. It looks like she was wonderful despite the everything. I love your How I Roll Page. I too have one kiddo that was predigital and those are difficult photos, but I love what you did on this page. The blue embellishment drawer served you well! And Ball Cap was too cute! Love that rainbow paper running diagonally! AussieMeg - Your Sweet page is so simple yet beautiful! Love the soft colors. And Maddie and Jake is my favorite of the pages I look at today. Love that all the elements run down the center. And the pictures and bits of patterned paper in squares. Great layout! And your Right Here page is perfect! The word strips are just the element you needed to make a great page. grammadee - Your Gamer Card is so perfect for right now! Love it! And the 40th card - is awesome! Love the scrabble tiles and how you put it into the sentiment too! How We Roll is amazing with that bold background paper, I am impressed how you found just the layout for the photos that they were not overshadowed. Nice page! And your Cousin Time page has such a nice spring/summer feel to it. I love the braches in the corners and the gnomes on the page! teacherlisa - You do a great job capturing the little moment. Love your milk page because my husband feels the exact same way! And your adventure page stood out for me because of the way you did the journaling with the stickers with in the working.

Leaving love for creations shared on page FIVE... teacherlisa, I love the Celebrate Everything cover page. I might have been tempted to just overload it with celebratory images and tickertape like embellishments, but you prove that LESS actually IS more! And that page thanking your boys for believing in you through the years brought tears to my eyes. Parenting is such a balancing act: we want them to trust our judgement, yet we doubt ourselves all the time. KikiPea, you have been a crafting MACHINE this month! Loving how you are using all the artsy pages and pieces from Vicki Boutin and Cocoa Vanilla and Kaisercraft! Great way to use a basic horizontal band design and mix it up in delicious ways! I can totally relate to 'not knowing exactly where this page is going' as you did in Destination Birthday. Yet you definitely arrived in the right spot! The Makes me Laugh page screams FUN from photo to colour pallet to title to all the fun little extras. Works perfectly with the photo realistic scene pp and with the woodgrain. BTW ((((Hugs)))) as you remember your lost furry companion. I did a couple of pages on a much loved and much missed dog this month too. The photos are really sweet on Never Grow Up, and again that band style highlights them perfectly, especially since you tilted them to contrast with the linear design. The black serves as the perfect background for the pinks on your Forever Valentines page. And even when you don't include the border strip, the design still works for the last two pages--with or without the line between contrasting backgrounds. The pic's of the little guy and his grampa pouting made me giggle, too. joblackford, I need to visit your Flickr page. Your cards continue to amaze me. gmcwife1, I love that you can take one basic card design and give it completely different looks with the papers and backgrounds you use. Those foiled Christmas cards are really elegant. Did you foil them, or use pre-foiled cs?

And I am on Page 5 too. KikiPea - After looking at all you accomplished this month, I must say I am impressed! Not only the quantity, but also the beautiful pages! I think it is so neat that you definitely have a style. I think I could pick your pages out from a group. I love how you use patterned paper and aren't afraid of loud, strong deigns on papers. And yet, your pages never look overwhelming. You have a talent for making the photos the star of any page. Well done! gmcwife1 - I love to see your cards. They are so nice and neat. The gold and white Christmas cards are especially nice. gramma - I love the page of your new little one! So sweet and the flip up is perfect for the page to add a few more photos onto it. kitbop - Love your Mighty Finn Page! I do love Basic Grey! And the design with the four circles is so nice. grammadee - Love the April page and glad you "caught" the missing kid. He will enjoy that he is on the page. I also like how you have the detail photos on the sides. The photo wreath page is fun too! I love all the little embellishments that you tucked into the page. We Build is awesome! Love that background! teacherlisa - I always admire your honest journaling! And I love those photos holders with the date! What a fun little project those were to make! And I love the idea of your celebrate everything album! joblackford - Your sheetload cards are great! Those seed pages on the top are just the perfect thing on the cards. And your Hello cards are awesome! I love to just cut a piece of really pretty paper and add a sentiment. Such a nice card it makes. Finally, your sympathy cards are perfect! I love that stamp and the swash of color under is perfect~

More Card Class cards - The pencil one used a die and stamp set I bought forever ago. One of those dollar sets at JoAnns or Michaels. You die cut through the card base then attach the pencil inside with some others on the first card. Then attach on the outside for the second card. Thus technique was to temporarily attach a die cut to a card then watercolor around it. Then remove the die cut to reveal the unwatercolored spots. On the second card you attach the die cut to another water colored background. This technique used Distress Oxide inks and you just applied two colors to the stamps.

Last page of comments AussieMeg - Man, your Cool layout is cool. And I just love the picture, you can tell he really does think he looks good. Gotta love a kid with confidence! And your Sunshine layout is great! I think I might have been a little stumped to mix different flower styles, but you did it well and they all look great together! KikiPea - For Real looks amazing! I love how the strips are going across but then the photo and other elements go up and down. It really does guide your eye over the page. grammadee - Your mother's Day cards are great! I love the flower over the text! Beautiful! And you say you messed up the far right one, well, I think that is my favorite. I like the coloring and a slight grunge look to it which I am guessing is what you think is messed up. LOL! Your Paw Prints page is so sweet. You can tell that was a loved pup! And your Beautiful page is just that! I love those big word die cuts! I need to do that more! And all the flowers make for a beautiful page for a beautiful girl!

Almost caught up with April sharing! ☺️ These cards used gel medium which I had never used before, but I really like it! I will be doing more of it. My daughter missed her friends soooo much! So I made her these quick tags and then she bought a box a candy to go with each one and left a treat on her friend’s doorsteps. These were a fun group of cards to do. Cut the word out and glue layers together to make the thicker word on the orange one. Then do a rainbow of blended ink under the negative for the other cards.

My last thing to share is an album I did to give my brother from a trip we took to Washington DC in 2018. I will share the title page here. But I shared a flip through video in Flickr.
