CoffeeCrafter love the mini-albums! I also made a mini-album, but I didn't construct it myself. I just used chipboard pages. They are fun and once you get them assembled, the decorating is fast.

I used chipboard for the cover on this then wrapped it with 80# kraft cardstock. I then wrapped that using the patterned paper. All the pockets, waterfalls, etc. were also made with the 80# kraft.

This is a page kit I picked up a long time ago at Scrap Expo. It was done in bright orange and green which I did not like at all. So, I scanned the offending pieces and cut my own. IMG_4959 by CLAUDIA LOVELESS, on Flickr

I had a few minutes to spare so I made some quick cards using up scraps sitting on my desk. I thought I was finishing off these papers but I found some extra cactus pieces so I will probably make half a dozen more like this. Oct share by jo.blackford, on Flickr

Great stuff so far! CoffeeCrafter - I must say I am loving your trailer videos! I don't love to watch long videos unless I am going to make whatever it is, so your trailers are perfect so I can get an idea of what you are making. And your albums are so beautiful! I am thinking I might make one for my mom. And you Season's Greetings card is beautiful! Is the edge of the card cut to match the stamp? Did you do that by hand? I love it! kitbop - I love your Easy Game layout! The colors are great and that dice paper is so perfect and fun! I also love all the layers that you added and the cute cluster of embellishments in the title area. AussieMeg - Your You and Me layout is just lovely! All the hearts are the perfect touch obviously! gramma - The paper piecing on your Eggcellent Easter layout is amazing! Such a fun and festive layout! joblackford - Love those cactus cards! I bought some cactus stamps and just pulled them out to use for the card challenge. Love your idea! And the cute ice cream cards will make anyone's day! grammadee - What a fun layout How Did You Get So Tall is! It is always such a milestone and those kids and grandkids pass up their elders in height. Love the measuring stick on the edge.

grammadee - I really love your takes on the Day 7 card challenge! The cards are great! Lovely Christmas cards and that Santa in the chair is so sweet! And then to do the layout too. I love sunbursts on layouts!! I think I will try to take a page from your book and do a sunburst layout too! And your Day 8 card is the best! I have bought a lot of that gnome paper but have not really used it yet. I need to get that done because based on your card, it turns out super cute in actual use. LOL! Lastly, you Once Upon A Time layout is so great! All About Me albums are so special!

This layout is about when my son cut off all his lovely curls last year. Several years ago a couple of AFL footballers started growing mullets, just as a joke. It has caught on, and now there are so many teenage boys sporting a mullet or a 'Dusty'. A Dusty is a hairstyle named after another AFL footballer who wears his hair cut short on the sides and a bit longer at the back - not long like a mullet, but kind of like a wide short mohawk. All of us parents who lived through the Age of the Mullet in the 80s just shake our heads. My 17yo nephew is currently sporting one of the best mullets I have ever seen - I really must get a photo and scrap it! For this layout, I used the following: PageMaps sketch; 'A New Normal' kit which is a Digital Press collaboration; Rustic Wood, Thicker Sticker, and Metallic Paint styles by Mommyish; Mixed Media brushes by Just Jaimee to make the dot paper; Paint splatter brush by Sahin Designs.

I bought the Vicki Boutin watercolor markers and was determined to use them. I found a layout that I had saved, but I neglected to save the person’s name. But this is a scrap lift of that person. Loved the chance to try out those watercolors!

grammadee Those pages are so cute! My brother is 6'2" and my grandma's about 5', so pictures of them are very similar. AussieMeg Before I met him, my husband had similar hair, but we call it his Whitesnake hair. I am always very jealous of the body and curls his hair has. It's just gorgeous, but he keeps it short now.

I found some more pieces of the Damask Love cactus paper just when I thought I was done with it so I made some more simple cards. I used the packaging for the hot pink bubble around the hello when I ran out of paper. It actually looked better than the pp I had been using. Oct share by jo.blackford, on Flickr Then because I got such a buzz out of using up those papers I decided to finally finish using up these ones (Jenn Hadfield Heart of Home, I think). I love them, but I was ready to be done with them. Hopefully I don't find any more scraps. I really liked how the cards turned out though. Oct share by jo.blackford, on Flickr I have some other "dregs" pulled out to use up, but there are other things I should be working on. But using things up is so much more satisfying than starting or continuing a difficult project.

CoffeeCrafter - holy moly, that doodlebug portfolio is SWEET! Love it! joblackford - fabulous use of the pps on your cards, I especially love the elegant floral "hello" linda - LOVE the use of the cut aparts on cards. I always have these pieces leftover from scrapping and should put them to use. This is what I accomplished in the google hangout yesterday. Well, actually, I had fussy cut all the cars and trees the night before, when I got the inspiration to make the "road" around the photo cluster. My inspiration was 100% from sketchtember #18 ( joyfulnana). If you look closely you'll see that the green nuvo drops in the middle of my flowers are droopy - I stood the layout up to keep it out of the way of cats, and forgot there were wet nuvos!!! layout happy trails by kirstendrew, on Flickr

And here is today's LOAD page. The prompt was to scrap something that is BIG in our lives, and I chose Christmas. Recreating Christmas by Gramma Dee, on Flickr Most of the journaling is hidden, but if you would like to read it, here it is: “My mother must have loved Crhistmas. It was a happy time, filled with the aromas of fresh spruce and roasting chicken. Everyone received the perfect gift, and Santa was very REAL. For a few years after Mama died, Christmas was sad and bleak. Then I took over the holiday, and resolved that forever more our family would celebrate this season. I know I go over the top. I don’t care. I love it all—shopping for gifts, decorating the house, baking holiday treats, wrapping the gifts and seeing them unwrapped. And afterward, I scrapbook the whole process with my overload of Christmas scrapbooking supplies. I can’t bring Mama back, but sometimes I think I touch her spirit and she smiles.”
POINTS: one page created & shared (2). #3 one photo scrapped for the Donna challenge (5), #9 border die cutting (1), #13 b&w pic (1), #24 rectangle (1), #25 square pic (1), #28 all about me album (1), #29 old photo with a new die (1), #33 PL cards (1), #35 me in the photo (2), #37 no pp (1), #54 glittery title (1), #55 foil cs (1), #58 inked edges (1), #59 tag (1), #60 >50 words (2), #61 Christmas (1), Total: 24

I need to get in here and comment on the awesome posted layouts and all, but first, I need to say thanks to the person who posted the challenge to put away layouts. Yes, it took all morning, but I put 117 scrapbook pages into the correct books where they should go!!
