I’m in a political discussion group on Facebook for recovering Republicans. A guy in the group posted this, and I thought it pretty much covered all the bases. I am reposting with his permission. Post by Denny Coverstone: May I begin by stating that computer repair shops are no place to have an Apple product repaired. Apple products are repaired by Apple so that exclusive proprietary construction and programming are kept intact. Apple doesn't share repair instructions with computer repair shops. So just so I have the latest email scandal straight: Hunter Biden, who lives in Los Angeles, decides to fly 3000 miles across country to drop off 3 MacBook Pros at a computer repair shop run by a blind guy who charges the insanely low price of $85 for data recovery. Hunter gets off the plane and drunk-drives to the repair shop in Wilmington desperate for service, because everyone knows there are no computer repair shops anywhere in LA. He staggers into the shop reeking of booze, drops them off, signs a contract for repair and then totally disappears, because he's so close to his easily-reachable dad that his dad is responsible for Hunter, but so not-close that his dad is unable to relay a message to Hunter that his computers are ready for pickup. The repair shop owner recovers the data but instead of doing what data recovery people normally do when computers are abandoned, which is wipe the data clean and sell the hardware, he reads literally thousands of Hunter's *private* emails (half of which are probably the "Reply All" chains we hate) but a few of those thousands of emails may mention a possible meeting arrangement between his dad and a Ukrainian guy. (For what? it's not mentioned.) Repair Shop Guy is so alarmed that he contacts the FBI. The FBI arranges to pick up the hard drives, but Repair Shop Guy chooses to take the completely normal step of copying those drives. Once he realizes the FBI isn't doing anything with them (hmmm... wonder why), he calls up the most credible ex-Mayor on Earth and hands him their contents. That totally credible ex-Mayor is also so alarmed by these emails that instead of immediately going public or talking to Barr's DOJ, he sits on them for months and then chooses to release them 3 weeks before the election. The responsible media then asks to independently verify their validity through a forensic analysis of the emails' metadata, but said ex-Mayor does what people do when trying to prove contrivances as facts and lies as truth ... refuses fact-based independent unbiased evaluation. That in particular has been shown otherwise right here in this thread. Is this the same information that was printed and mailed overnight to Tucker Carlson which was then lost in transit with no copies made? No one ever said there weren't any copies or actual sources for copies. The media and previously proven lying out their ass politicians have claimed it's nothing but Russian disinformation. Director of Intelligence John Ratcliffe has debunked that. I also don't think anyone denied other media outlets access to verify any of this, I'm not sure where that's coming from. Much of the scenario painted in this whole thread is just flat out incorrect. Just flippant statements thrown out with nothing based on reality. You can dismiss the Hunter devices with all the excuses you want , but there are now other devices from other people that corroborate the emails in the Hunter devices. There is an eyewitness to the meetings WITH Joe. Not an "I was in the office/restaurant/park/wherever and overheard them", but "I'm their business partner and was IN those meetings WITH JOE in attendance." type of eyewitness. He's rich, so doesn't need money, he's a Democrat, so not a smear campaign. There are RECENT audio recordings of their partners lamenting about being "buried" if this gets out as they were being warned about it. At the very least you now can no longer deny that Joe has lied when he has continually said, "I have never discussed my son's business dealings with him." Don't forget, in 2015, Obama administration officials were questioning this Hunter/Burisma/VP Joe thing back then. And just like back then, ZIP, ZERO, NOTHING was found. Just like now, all a bunch of fabricated propaganda. You’re pathetic. |

Tucker Carlson is a "conservative opinion commentator/host". He says that. Out loud. He doesn't pretend to be a journalist or try to play one on tv, unlike Brian Stelter, Chris Hayes, Joy Reid, Nicolle Wallace, Al Sharpton (still makes me laugh that MSNBC actually gave that man a show), just to name a few. The latter "progressive opinion commentators/hosts" I mentioned are followed like heroes here and quoted, retweeted and worshiped.
Until Carlson's guest Bobulinski is proven to be a liar, which as of today hasn't happened, I have no reason to not believe what he's saying. Biden himself hasn't said the laptop, emails, etc. are fake, so why are people working so hard to dismiss this, lol?
Not to forget—his own lawyers argued in court that what Tucker says should not be taken seriously!!! Just read U.S. District Judge Mary Kay Vyskocil's opinion, leaning heavily on the arguments of Fox's lawyers: The "'general tenor' of the show should then inform a viewer that [Carlson] is not 'stating actual facts' about the topics he discusses and is instead engaging in 'exaggeration' and 'non-literal commentary.' I don't know how Bobulinski could have proof on his computer that VP Biden was involved, since he was asked to join Hunter Biden's business in 2017, during the trump administration. Any involvement that Joe Biden had then, which is none, would have been above board since he was no longer working for the government.

Yes, because we heard/saw him (Tony Bobulinski) say it, saw the emails and listened to the audio tapes of the other business partners acknowledging this would bury them if it does get out. He testified to the FBI. And Joe Biden's brother is also involved. What was seen is a carefully orchestrated, preplanned with the trump administration, former biz partner of Hunter, and a guy who has been sued and up to his eyeballs in debt, go on live Fox TV and hold up shiny objects and make a statement. So far, none of that has been proven factual/truthful. I’ll bet that like Kavanaugh, his debts magically disappear. |

In my opinion, almost anything from sources other than OAN, Fox, Breitbart and NY Post might be worth reading. There might be others on that list. And Sinclair Broadcast Group. We already had a thread here two years ago about their pushing right-wing propaganda onto affiliate stations. They're the ones who've been propagating this lie that the FBI is investigating Hunter for money laundering, which was then picked up by right-wing sites like the Federalist, NY Post, Washington Examiner, etc, without a shred of evidence or verification. When all along, an FBI official has written to the Senate that they neither confirm nor deny any investigation. NY Post itself, the purveyor of this convoluted Giuliani and Bannon crap, said it's unclear whether the investigation is even directly related to Hunter. Wray himself, FBI’s boss, has not said a thing, and that’s precisely why Trump is fuming. I am not commenting on the rest of the email, but, there is an entire chain of independent Apple repair shops in my area. And, it appears Apple does share information with them, and offers certification. support.apple.com/irp-programJust keeping it real. Carry on. I took my Mac to a local store. It is an Apple approved repair shop. They took 12 days to fix it. Will only go to Apple store from now on. Still think the story is BS. |

And Al Sharpton has never pretended to be a journalist. ( he pretends to be a caring human or a caring reverend but not a journalist ) Wasn’t Joy Behar conservative? And the View never pretended to be a news show despite Barbra Walters starting it. They claimed to be about different opinions or VIEWS hence the name. I haven’t watched since Whoopie came in. Meanwhile there is proof Trump was paid millions by the Chinese and that’s some how acceptable to people? Trump was granted previously denied permits in Turkey then He pretty much betrays our military to Erdogan making them run for their lives. Why was that so conveniently forgotten? Trump and his kids are bilking the us taxpayers and making money on their positions. I don't expect to see Hunter in a high level WH job, or even a low level job like Barr's and was it Guiliani's? I am not a Dem or Rep and I would happily criticize anyone doing the stuff that Trump is doing regardless of party. |
