It's me! (I changed my name awhile ago because it was just my college login from way back when which was random letters and numbers and had no meaning lol... not sure why I thought that would be a good name to sign up with ha) kimba thank you! I just watched your video and wow your album is gorgeous! Love how the puzzle was the piece that pulled through the album. That was really neat. I couldn't help but wonder if the dog is mad he didn't get his own page while the cat did, haha. The album is gorgeous. Very thoughtful. Love how you used the photo templates and big blocks of journaling. I still haven't done WITL for this year (I was sick that week) but you are inspiring me to give it a go.

The puzzle worked out so perfectly even though I didn't plan that out, now I'm going to have to think of something similar for next year! Everyone in this house knows the cat is my favorite The dog is my daughter's favorite... so she's not entirely left out lol. I do feel bad though... the dog didn't even show up once in my Day in the Life album this year (I did one photo per story and none of the dog photos went with the stories I wanted to tell!). I'm so happy I was able to inspire you to document WITL, it's such a fun project! If you didn't get a chance to watch the story chats from that week, I would recommend, they had lots of good ideas and really got me pumped up to document the week (they are saved on the Ali Edwards Design Inc IGTV). Good luck! Let me know how your project turns out

I'm picturing the cat lording it over the dog when you aren't around, just like cats are supposed to do. Cats are the best. That's a neat idea on the puzzle, to think of something similar for next year. & Great tip to go back and watch the stories from that week. Thank you!

Just checking in to say I'm still not done with my WITL project. I'm feeling very unmotivated to do it even though I've seen so many great albums so far and I also keep changing my mind about the format I want to use (Life Crafted album? 6x8 album? Storyline chapters?) so I'm sure that doesn't help. Can someone kick my bootie and tell me to get this done so I feel like I've accomplished something with my life?

I finished! I didn't make a big thing of it...I slipped the photos in, printed the journaling, slipped it in and added not very much embellishing and called it good. I ended up using one of the Simple Stories snapbooks (6x8), I picked up when I attempted for my DD album. I was afraid it wasn't going to fit right, but it was fine. I ended up having at least 2 page protectors each day, then another 2 or 3 I think, so about 17 fits fine. From the AE kit I used the transparent half circles, the days of the week patch circles, and a few bits. I was going to try to add more but after looking at it I really wasn't feeling all the disjointed pieces. It was kind of a difficult week to scrap because it included surgery, so I was happy to just get it documented and move on. I did have a ton of journaling content, so I am happy it's done!
Good luck to those of you still working thru...I would say maybe just take away a step you were planning on doing and maybe that will make it easier to finish.
