My Nov box is shipping via UPS and estimates delivery on Monday. I’ll be shocked if it gets here by then!

Since the card event, I've done nothing but make cards. First I made 5 with the Hero Arts set. Then I grabbed out my Christmas bin and I've designed 3 different styles of cards and made a few of each. Most years, I make 1 design and bulk produce it. This year, I'm just enjoying the designing process. I've been unable to make myself want to scrapbook. I took this card event hoping it would help me be more of a true "card maker". It seems to have worked

Still no ship notice for me... kitbop I saw you mention expecting the box this week. Did the shipping notice come from Canada Post?

I peeked. I already know I have an obligation at the "unboxing" time. I'll take a "slow through" on re-run - but I have already looked at both the November paper crafting and Christmas supplies.

grammadee - I got my ship notice Friday or Saturday I believe, and it says it's out for delivery today (altho last box arrived the day after they promised...) Did you get that e-mail about the delay on boxes for people in BOTH events who are in certain shipping areas? I wonder if you fall into that range. I'm only in the first event. If you didn't get it, let me know and I can forward it to you. Loydene - general impressions of your box? I know with the card event, most people were amazed. With this one, I'm nervous because some of the sneaks feature older lines that I already didn't like! Speak of the devil - just got the pounding on the door, the dogs went nuts and my box is here!!! ETA: Took a quick peak, just to get general impressions, and packed it back up. Did not look through the instruction booklet (want to wait for details on the projects). General impressions: happy! Quite surprised at some things!

It is a large box - lots of materials, but I haven't gone through each class bag. However - I did not see a "whole collection package" - just individual sheets of paper. (Perhaps I missed something - I believe the book lists a "whole collection" as part of the class kit.) The "treat" for the paper crafting is a stale, hard disappointment; I haven't tried the treat from the Holiday bag. The Holiday event materials were cleverly packaged in a red handled bag with a "No Peeking" sticker closing it. (I looked anyway) A much thinner package of materials and less substantial book.

grammadee I got a shipping notice for this one, but I haven't other times. The email I got came from Freightcom and the tracking info was for Canpar. My box is supposed to arrive tomorrow.

I wonder if it's more cost effective to buy a 25 pack of individual sheets and a pack sticker sheets to put together a collection. Same materials, just done manually instead of prepackaged by the manufacture. End result is still the same. I would expect the holiday event materials to be thinner and less substantial since it's only a 1-day event. I haven't peeked yet, but will in a couple days. That's cute about the "no peeking" sticker. I had heard they weren't doing the popcorn for the November retreats. I didn't care for it so I was looking forward to something new. That a bummer if the replacement isn't great either. Boo!

grammadee I got a shipping notice for this one, but I haven't other times. The email I got came from Freightcom and the tracking info was for Canpar. My box is supposed to arrive tomorrow. Oh no. Canpar are the guys who shipped my ToysRus packages back to sender rather than figure out where they could drop them off for me, or contact me to arrange a pick up. I just emailed Catherine to see if she can provide me with more information. I should have given YOUR address for this package: those courier companies don't do rural deliveries and don't always collect all the info (phone # or alternate address) at time of shipping. ETA: catherinesct just sent me the tracking number. ETA is tomorrow and the carrier is one that reliably drops off in town. One more sleep…

It’s in there. #teamripitopen Did you see the email or post about having to switch out a planned collection pack for a different one due to availability? This was for Victoria Marie’s class.

I am like a kid on Christmas Eve! My box arrived yesterday at the depot in town and my niece picked it up for me after work. She is bringing it over later today. So excited! Don't think that box is going to stay sealed very long once it is in my clutches...

I caved. I'm officially now #teampeek! I didn't go through everything - just a quick look at the different bags. SO MUCH STUFF! Love the bound notebook (didin't open that either). I'm really looking forward to this.
Also, just a reminder that registration for alumni for the spring 2022 events is THIS Tuesday - 10/17 - at Noon. I'll be signing up for both after seeing all the cards from the peas.

Tell us how you really feel. 😁 Plus the mini classes in the marketplace, some that aren’t so mini. Michael will be back. Was touched that he re-did his whole video after the event after technical glitches.

Well, I haven’t peaked as I don’t have my box yet. I live only 30 mis away, therefore I go to Catherine’s house to pick it up and that saves me the shipping cost. Have they posted yet about a FB group for the Holiday crop? If so can someone tag me so I can join. Thanks

I am usually hardcore team no peek but both unboxings are nights when I have plans, so grammadee and I did our own unboxing because she is definitely team rip it open! I am not signing up for the spring because it is just so much product that I don't have room for it.

But I *WON’T* pack this for the LSS crop this upcoming weekend. And will *TRY* to focus only on my summer photos, although some of my fall pic’s are definitely calling to me…

My Nov box arrived on Friday. I asked dh to open it to take out the treat because I heard it was stale. He misunderstood me and took it out and ate it. He did say it was stale. :-)
I am firmly team no peek, so he taped it back up for me.
