I really hope her co-designer and the people at AC are good at spell-checking because she then went on to post another IG story in which she spelled 'hypocrisy' as 'hipocracy'. Of course she was referring to the government run by Hippos, right? Miss Fiona from Cincinnati, OH gets my vote!

You sold me on the fat scarfed-up squirrel! I absolutely plan on using that for my winter self-portrait. Scarf ✓ Mittens ✓ Fattening up for hibernation ✓ Cute as a squirrel ✗ (working on it)

Oooh like the look of the CP Busy Sidewalks a lot. I think some of that line might be heading this way.

I really like the colours in the CP line but I don't like the papers at all. I may pick up the sticker sheet, those squirrels are just adorable and as a trouble-making black cat owner I'm rather partial to that kitty sticker. I quite like the thickers but there are far too many snowflakes for any non-snowy location.

Fiona is a celebrity here in Cincinnati we love her so much! She's an international STAH! ✨ Such a cutie, so social and what a miracle story after her first difficult months of life. Hippos are underrated... I don't know what to do with all the snowflake embellishments either. Every year, it's the same story. (At least, it's seasonal for me, unlike you, but we get a few hours of snow every handful of years...) One way I've found to use them up is on pages with photos that include snow like listing the holiday movies watched (snow-covered Hallmark movie posters!) that December, fake snow in shop window displays, etc. I just layer them all the way around the border and call it a day!

Still no blog post from Crate Paper about Busy Sidewalks. Instead, the AC blog has a very succinct blog post with just a few photos, no text. Weird.

Still no blog post from Crate Paper about Busy Sidewalks. Instead, the AC blog has a very succinct blog post with just a few photos, no text. Weird. ..this reminds me every year I tell myself I'll decorate packages and "make them cute" like I did when I was a kid.. but suddenly it's December 22nd and all the gifts are hidden in different closets and not only is nothing wrapped but the paper I thought I had is suddenly missing and I end up with packages that have multiple papers taped together (with washi that doesn't match because I couldn't find the clear tape dispenser...) because I'm using remnants of multiple old rolls... these are very cute though

I hadn't been here for a while so I had a lot of new releases to look at but I am surprised that they come up with new and interesting Christmas lines every year. As I said before I am not thinking of buying anything this year but here's what I liked so far: Simple Stories: Holly Days (don't like the ugly lime green but the rest is nice) Simple Stories: Ugly Christmas Sweater Crate Paper: Busy Sidewalks - very nice, my favourite so far!
You know as well as I do that I will probably end up giving in to temptation and it's nice to know that there are quite a few options out there if I do.

I just checked and Pinkfresh revealed their 2020 Christmas collection in mid-July so we're likely in for another few weeks of wait before this one floats to the surface. Maybe they'll move the reveal up a little this year due to the Olympics (a girl can hope)?
I believe all the other collections of the highly anticipated line-up are out now, right? Are we missing a big name?

If I recall, in 2019 Doodlebug and Bella Blvd showed their Christmas collections in September. Last year it was October 26. I’m hoping the wait isn’t nearly as long this year.

I pre-ordered most of Busy Sidewalks. I may have gone overboard on that specialty paper.
Definitely awaiting PinkFresh’s Christmas offerings as well.

I apologize for being pages behind on this thread! Echo Park's Christmas Cheer and some of the others are really channeling the 80's, aren't they? I started adulthood that decade, it's odd I am not feeling nostalgic about the matter of fact color scheme. It goes with more of my family photos than his beloved kitchsy designs ever did. Thank you sleepingbooty for this thread and the gifs along the way.

And a... HAPPY HALF-CHRISTMAS, fellow December documenters and Workaholics fans! May your cocktail glass be full and your BBQ sizzling hot. Yep, this is it. The halfway mark to Christmas 2021. Make of that what you will. But if you needed a little prompt to start pre-ordering new stuff or planning out your next December Daily album (or finishing last year's), consider this post as the sign you were waiting for.

Thanks, refugeepea for the links Love those tattered gnomes. Wish I was good at colouring I didn't think about that! I'm not great at coloring either. It looks fun, but then I think about the investment into coloring products. I've had chalks for a very long time I will sometimes use but that is about it.
