kellyr21, I love your tag layout. I left love in the gallery. You are doing so many fun, creative things. I hope you continue to do that. joyfulnana, how is Rudy's grandpa? Your family is in my prayers. I'm so sorry that this has happened. It will be nice to see you at the online crop when things are more settled in your life. Em had to do a lot of explaining to Alex about his grandpa being on hospice before they flew out there. It has been hard for him to understand, but he could see a real difference in the 3 weeks he was there. I hope you don't have to have that discussion right away. I hope Rudy's grandpa does well and can return home soon. Hugs to you both. gramma, I am always so impressed with how organized your scraproom looks online. However, even in your rearranging and sorting, your room doesn't look as bad as mine normally. I love how neat and organized it is now and I can't wait to see your new furniture in there. It was nice seeing you online Sunday. Linda, I'm glad your DH is feeling better but I was hoping you would hop online Sunday so we could meet. Another time, when things work out we must do that! MARIBETHR, those are great layouts. I left you love in your gallery. I especially "feel" your rain page. We were so happy and grateful to have a big soaking rain. Love the family photos also. kitbop, congrats on your new car. I rode in an Outlander to a County Fair to be a judge last year. I was in the 3rd seat and not uncomfortable. I'm sure you will really enjoy it. I'm sorry you had to work the weekend. We missed you on the Crop. I only got to hop on for an hour, but it was just what I needed. grammadee, I would like to know how you quote 2 or more comments without posting the whole thing or losing it all? Did you get everything done this weekend that you planned. I loved the 3 fold card for your brother. We went to DD's home for the Blessing of Baby Eddie yesterday. It was very nice. He was very good and let all the grands and great-grands take a turn holding him without crying. DD had a whole table full of treats prepared. Our DS and DDL and Em were all sick, so they stayed away, but there were about 20 people there and all were vaccinated except the baby. It was amazing how many redheads there were. Eddie fit right in. I'll post photos once I get them developed. He's a cutie. I can't believe we are on the last week of July. School starts so early that I feel like summer is almost over. Where did it go and what did I accomplish?

so glad that you were able to get together for Baby Eddie's Blessing. nylene Sorry I didn't hop on the chat - DH was super kind and shared so now I'm sick, sigh. He's still not 100% so he's napping and I'm wishing I could

Oh, Linda, I hope you feel better soon. nylene, I completed just 5 cards yesdterday and have yet to post them. Was busy with garden today, but hopefully tomorrow I can do that. I just learned a little while ago how to use the quick quote function. What I do is highlight the part of a post I want to quote, then click on the pop up that says quick quote. The section I highlighted appears in the reply pane. I usually respond to that one before scrolling back to a different post where I can repeat the action.

Thanks for the info on quick quotes functions. I didn't get a pop up for quick quote, but I may have done it wrong. I'll try again next time I post. Linda , are you feeling any better? When will you get the results of your tests? You are in my prayers for quick recovery...your kindly sharing DH also! kellyr21 , I hope you can get on the Online Crop on a Sat. I have a hard time on Sunday with our church schedule, but can usually do a couple of hours on Sat. How fun to go shopping! I'd enjoy clothes shopping more if I could find things that fit. No, I think even then I don't enjoy clothes shopping. LOL Now the JoAnn's shopping sounds like great fun. joyfulnana , I can't remember what color your kitty is. I was making friends with the 2 I'm cat-sitting and thought of you, but couldn't remember what yours looks like. These are white, one with black spots and one with tan spots. They are finally used to me, but run when DH comes in.

Hi everyone! Thanks for all the prayers and good thoughts for Rudy's grandpa. He is doing fine - I guess. It was the weirdest thing, I knew he was in the hospital and that was all I knew. I kept asking Cody for news, and he didn't have any. So there wasn't any surgery, or anything. This was his 7th or 8th heart attack, and they had put stents in previously. Maybe it was more stress related. It was just all weird. Omg MARIBETHR I LOVE those Blue Apron layouts! I used to get Hello Fresh and did take some pics of some of those meals. What a cool thing to document! nylene Abby is white, and such a big cat lol. Even without the fat, she's so long bodied lol. I need to get to scrapping her. That's cute that they run from DH. Abby is making friends with Rudy again and doesn't hide when he comes over anymore. linda I'm so sorry to hear you aren't feeling well. Fingers crossed for negative tests! I'm still not convinced people are catching colds. I'm calling whatever I had CoLvid lol. Yay for new cars kitbop! Sounds like you got the perfect vehicle for your family. I love my Escape, but I do wonder why I felt the need for an SUV when it's just me lol. I guess because every once in a while I need a small truck to haul things, and this is a close second? I'm not loving the payment, but I do love having a newer car and not worrying about things breaking down for a few years lol. Mask mandates are back here in KC, and our state AG is suing the city over it. I hate living in Missouri, seriously. That guy has files more frivolous lawsuits. I only went out without a mask three times total before I was masking up again, long before this mandate. I'm sure there will be a ton of backlash over it as well. But Rudy's school district is requiring masks for all students K-12 and that is such a relief for me and his parents. You all have been so creative this month and I'm having FOMO over not getting any crafting in. I'm putting page kits together for We Create so that I don't bring everything lol. Once I have that taken care of I'll be able to relax and scrap again. If I try to leave it till the last minute, well, that would be recipe for lots of half finished pages when I come home lol. Work is still nuts, and I'm sticking to my story that it will calm down when school starts. Even though I'm pretty sure Biden shot that down leaving the travel restrictions in place. lol I've talked to several RV dealers that have absolutely no trailers on their lots. Everything is being pre-ordered. This pandemic can't end soon enough.

MARIBETHR - good idea for layouts - I like how they turned out joyfulnana - negative tests here, thank goodness, but I'll tell you, I've never had a cold put me to bed for days before. I'm STILL exhausted and coughing Not sure I'll get any more scrapping done this month - my girls have been decent about making sure they and the cats were fed, washed some dishes, and did some laundry but the house looks like I've been sick for days and once I'm less exhausted, I need to remedy that. no mask mandates here but DD14 has already told me she's wearing a mask at school - she's probably going to be in the minority sadly.

Your blue apron pages are wonderful, MARIBETHR. Love those big circles mimicking the plates, and the diecut aprons are cool. Are they a diecut? Glad your Covid test was negative, Linda. What you had sounds like the flu that hit me a few years ago after I had spent a few days with the grandkids. That was the last year I did not take the annual flu shot. Have had the shot every year since and have never been knocked down that hard since. Look after yourself. You do not need to play yourself out cleaning house only to have a relapse. Good to hear from you, joyfulnana. I will bet all those kits will pay off once you are involved in We Create. I don't even think of kits, but by using your challenge this month I actually made some useful ones and had fun putting the pages together, both when I was away and when I was here at home. I have been busy with garden this week. It is not producing what it would on a good year, but I was able to freeze some peas on Monday and have some ready for freezing today. There are enough fresh veggies and raspberries for eating at most of our meals, and actually FRESH is the best way to enjoy garden harvest. I am really hoping to coax the cukes to produce so I can make a big batch of relish. I use that in a number of meat sauces all year.

Linda , I am sorry you are still feeling exhausted and coughing. That sounds like a terrible cold/flu/whatever. It sounds like the CoLvid that joyfulnana had. I hope you are improving and that you are up and going strong soon. How is your DH? joyfulnana , I was thinking that Abby was white, but couldn't remember. This morning the cats were trying to be under my hands while I was getting their water, and opening their food cans. I thought they must be starving, but once the food was prepared they ignored it and continued to bug me. I can tell they are really missing their petting and playing with family. I spent time just holding and giving them attention, but I needed to get back home because I was expecting a call. The family will be home on Friday. It's been a long 2 weeks for the cats. grammadee , your garden's fresh produce sounds delicious. I hope you have enough cukes to make relish. I hear that people's gardens here are not producing well this year. Our tomatoes are small, but delicious. I hope as the weather cools (eventually) and we get some rain, it will help your garden. kitbop , how are your little caterpillars doing? I hope you are taking photos. gramma , are you working on the wedding album or do you have something else in the works? kellyr21, did you have a concert last night? Waving hello to all the Pokeys! I hope you have a great weekend.

Happy Thursday! It is a nice day here and I hope you all are enjoying your day. Yes, nylene we went to the concert last night. They had a Motown group and they were good. We sang along and I danced a little at the end. LOL! I just love these concerts and glad we still have two or three more. I shot two new YT videos yesterday. It felt good after taking a break. One is on my TN flip thru and the other is a bracelet making kit I got from Amazon. I hope to post one of them tomorrow. nylene- Yes, I miss visiting with you on all the chat. I hope to join in soon. Saturdays is our day to get out and about and Lord knows I need it after been at home all week. Sundays is church but I plan to make it out with you gals. Miss you all! linda- Oh, so glad you are ok and recovering! Take it easy! grammadee- Sorry your garden is underperforming but glad you are enjoying it- minus the bugs! LOL! joyfulnana- Be safe my friend!!!

Your blue apron pages are wonderful, MARIBETHR. Love those big circles mimicking the plates, and the diecut aprons are cool. Are they a diecut? Yes, you got it, they are die cut using my Pazzles machine, which I don't use nearly enough. So this will be a fun project for me as we try more Blue Apron meals.

nylene- Have you ever looked at or shopped at QVC? If not, you might find better fit clothes and shoes there. I watch QVC everyday and have found some great items there. If you don't see it on your tv here is the website and you can watch live shows there, too. Link Here

Hey, Pokeys! How are you all doing as July draws to a close?
It is hot here again, and I am feeling tired today. Have been picking a few raspberries daily and peas every second day, but didn't even go out there today. Dh set up the sprinklers to give everything in the garden a good drink and we will see what else it can produce.
Yesterday dd & family arrived late afternoon in time for supper. I roasted a chicken on the deck and we had new potatoes and peas and green salad from the garden. They stayed the night here, and by 11:00aM they had prepared their holiday trailer to head out to the lake. We are supposed to join them for a wiener roast for Sunday supper.
Have been busy setting up a few things behind the scenes here, and will have the August teams ready to go by this evening. I thought I might scrap today, or at least make some cards I am going to need in the next two weeks, but after they left, I had lunch, laid down to read, and wound up taking a nap.
hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend.

grammadee, I'm sure you deserved that nap. A wiener roast with family sounds like fun tomorrow. kellyr21, I will go look at your new video. You are really cranking them out. Keep it up. Our meet up at the AC Warehouse hit a snag this morning so we are rescheduling for Monday. I hope they still have lots of stuff. I have been working on pages today, but won't get them finished until tomorrow. That will get me moving for August Teams. Have a great weekend, everyone.
