Orange is the new black. Watched a couple episodes of last season and lost interest in finishing it. Did the same with Ozark but after season 2

I think I quit watching Gilmore Girls after Rory and the rich boyfriend got together (did they get married?) I might be the only person on the planet who loved Logan! Followed him to the Good Wife and now The Resident. I love his smile! And, no, they didn't get married. Interestingly, I didn't like Jess (Milo Ventimiglia) at all but love him in This is Us!

Another one - Person of Interest. Loved that show. Then they killed off Carter - Taraji P Henson’s character. She was so, so good especially when she interacted with Reese. I tried to watch it after that and it was too sci-fi and it was all about the Machine. As much as a like Michael Emerson, I was done.

NCIS- I used to watch it religiously. It was my favorite show and I never missed an episode. When they brought Ellie in they lost me. It just became so boring and dull.Manifest-when they still hadn’t answered what happened to the damn plane after two seasons, I gave it up. I think it’s disrespectful to audiences when writers drag stuff on for so long. Now that I know the show ended and people still don’t know, I’m glad I didn’t invest further. You might want to try NCIS when the new season starts up this fall...the actress who played Ellie left at the end of this most recent season!

I think I also stopped watching CSI (the original; I never got sucked into any of the spinoffs) some time into the series... around the time that Grissom and Sara got together, maybe-- and then Grissom left the show. It could never be the same without Gil Grissom's intensity. I think I quit watching Gilmore Girls after Rory and the rich boyfriend got together (did they get married?) because for me, the show was more about the quirky people in the town along WITH Lorelei and Rory's relationship, and I felt like the show lost something when they focused more on Rory. there's another couple I *know* I quit for specific reasons, but I can't remember them right now. I DID have to watch Dawson's Creek all the way thru, even though their teen angst and the 'will she pick Dawson, or will she pick Pacey?" suspense was drawn out waaaaay too long-- I just had to know!!' Good call on CSI. I stopped watching around then too. The relationship was odd to me. I also stopped watching Criminal Minds after Derek and Hotch were gone.

For those of you that mentioned ER and the death of DR Greene -
I remember being devastated and telling my dh - "OH MY GOD - they killed Goose again!"

Blacklist almost lost me because I hated the Liz character. So whiny with an over blown sense of importance. I just held on because I love James Spader even more. Glad I did because Liz is officially off the show! I'm really excited for the new season now.

Designated Survivor - Once it was cancelled for good, I stopped watching Breaking Bad - watched all but the last 3 episodes and realized I didn't really care enough to continue Walking Dead - I realized this was a show that I liked to watch with someone so we could talk about it and once I was single I stopped watching.

Yes! How I Met Your Mother.
Was on the countdown hours to the wedding at the end and then Netflix stopped carrying it.

I’m notoriously fickle about TV and watch very little. It would be a way shorter list to name ones that I actually finished rather than ones I abandoned. I totally want to hear the series that you felt were worth your time, that seems like a good recommendation for what I should watch.

I actually haven’t finished the most recent season of This is Us. I just didn’t care about it any more. Bones and Castle were some others. yes to both. I did not watch all of season seven of Castle After they killed Sweets I just want as into Bones. The reruns have just hit that season and I have started watching them

The joke around my house is my husband is notorious for watching every single episode of some series and then leaving the very last one on the DVR for years and years. Then he buys the series either on disc or electronically and deletes the last episode off the DVR but never watches the last episode in his purchased media. Burn Notice is the one we joke about all the time. But it's just one of dozes of examples of this phenomenon. I am just like your husband. That way the series never really ended. I've don't it with Leverage, Big Bang Theory and a couple others

The X-Files, I didn't like Robert Patrick's character so I stopped watching, I did love the newer seasons though.
True Blood, I never watched the final season, just lost interest in it.
I finished True Blood and you didn't miss anything other than bad storyline the last season

Parks & Rec. It was probably season 5 when I realized I just didn't find it that funny.

Lost and The Office for different reasons
Lost because it became meh.
The Office because when I watch the last season it will really be over. Since I haven't watched the end, it's not really done. (I was the BIGGEST The Office fan, up to winning a charity set visit and spending the day with Jenna Fisher and Steve Carrell; it was every bit as cool as it sounds.)

Orange is the New Black. When I got Netflix I watched the first 3 seasons and loved it. I watched the next 2 when they dropped. Then it took so long for the last 2 to come out that I lost interest and never finished. That was the first one that came to mind for me. Never finished it.

With a couple exceptions, I rarely stick with a show past 3 seasons. The first couple years I might watch ASAP, then another couple years get watched if/when I have time and then it gets dropped from the record list.

This thread makes me realize how many series I've never watched at all. Not sure why.
Orange is the New Black Sopranos Walking Dead Breaking Bad Lost Good Girls This is Us Alias Scandal The Office (American) Designated Survivor NCIS
I do watch dramas - but a lot of them are BBC/ITV. I just like their vibes better somehow. Plus I get to see UK scenery/places.

American Horror Story Roanoke. I missed the last 2 episodes on purpose. Maybe the last 3. I didn't even care.
Orange is the New Black. Watched 3 seasons and midway through the third I said meh. I'm tired of this.
Roseanne the entire last season. I watched an episode here and there but for the most part I stopped watching after they won the lottery and Dan left.

I keep seeing it on my suggestions list but have never watched it.

And I felt it wasn't fully coming together as an ensemble. Aram was interesting as was Samar but they usually had a separate storyline from Red. That's my show that I finally bailed on. Maybe I'll try again next season.

I’m midway through Ozark and not highly motivated to finish it. Except Julia Garner is amazing. SAME. I've taken a break. I'll probably go back to it eventually. I'm slogging my way through the last season of Call the Midwife. There's nothing terribly wrong with it, but it's just not something one should binge on. All the episodes sort of blend into one after awhile.

I was about six episodes behind on Zoey’s Ultimate Playlist and then I heard it got canceled so I just removed the remaining episodes from my DVR.

Apparently Anthony Edwards has a real problem of people thinking *he* had actually died because Goose and Dr. Greene’s deaths were so significant. ER lost me most of the way when Lucy died and then I bailed completely when Greene died.
