There's a better one about women in prison Wentworth!!! Is Wentworth really good? I keep seeing it on my suggestions list but have never watched it. Soooooooo good. It makes OITNB look like a Girl Scout meeting.

Big Bang Theory. It was running out of steam towards the end. The character of Sheldon was getting very irritating for me. I almost couldn’t stand to watch anymore. We started DVR Ing it instead of watching it live and ended up with probably over half of the last season on the DVR that sat there for months. I finally just deleted them I had lost so much interest. Same. Giving Bernadette and Howard a kid was a mistake. It totally killed the inertia of the show.

Ones where I’ve watched more than one season but gave up on (sometimes for a reason and sometimes not)
Outlander Deadwood Supernatural True Blood House Revenge House of Cards Game of Thrones
Breaking Bad I have a lot that I’ve watched most of the first season and then didn’t watch the last one or two episodes. Not sure why in most cases.

I *wish* I had done that with the Sopranos. I watched that show faithfully all those years and then BAM..it ended in a big nothing. But - that ending has given me/us a new found love for *Don’t Stop Believing*

I gave up on Walking Dead this past season! I made it so far…and just decided I couldn’t do it anymore.

I stopped watching Oz just a few episodes from the end because it was clear the main character was about to make a terrible decision, and I just could not deal with the aftermath.
I stopped watching Lost early in the last season because I was upset about the direction the show took and could not watch it play out.
Like a lot of folks, I jumped ship on The Walking Dead after investing several seasons. I don’t know exactly where I quit, but it was after several Big Bad repetition cycles and I was bored.

I do this all the time: Sopranos, Charmed, Vampire Diaries, How to get away with murder, Grey’s, etc. Those are a couple. Maybe doing this with The Flash.

How I Met Your Mother - I watched all but the final 2 seasons. It just got really stupid. I gave up on Grey’s Anatomy around season 7…I felt it had jumped the shark and was nearing the end. Who could have guessed it would still be on this many years later??! I am a completionist … I have a hard time letting things go because I want to know how it’s going to end. But more and more as I get older, I can walk away from stupid shows quite easily. 100% agree with you on Grey's and I did the same thing!

Game of Thrones. We sat through almost the whole of the first series before I turned to DH and said I hate them ALL, this is not how I want to spend my fun time watching people I hate doing horrible things, do we have to keep going with this? He agreed, we switched it off and that was it. Haven't regretted it at all.
We loved HIMYM and BBT though. We're rewatching BBT now.

I've mentioned here before that I never watched the last episode of the original run of the X-Files because I loved that show too much for it to actually be over. Someone will invariably say that I didn't miss anything good anyway. On the DVR right now is the last episode of the return season of the X-Files and I can't bring myself to watch that either.

Orange Is the New Black Anne With an E Frankie and whatshername
I somehow got interrupted with these and forgot to go back. OITNB, kind of lost my interest
I'm sure there are more but I can't even remember what they were. Most of the shows I quit watching, I only watched a few episodes of and decided not to pursue it such as The Handmaid's Tale or The Walking Dead or The Vampire Diaries.

NCIS- I used to watch it religiously. It was my favorite show and I never missed an episode. When they brought Ellie in they lost me. It just became so boring and dull.Manifest-when they still hadn’t answered what happened to the damn plane after two seasons, I gave it up. I think it’s disrespectful to audiences when writers drag stuff on for so long. Now that I know the show ended and people still don’t know, I’m glad I didn’t invest further. Derailing the thread for a moment--Ellie is the WORST. Terrible. And she carried some of the main story lines. Ruined the show. Ruined. Horrific casting decision.

I stopped watching NCIS a loooooooooong time ago, so I have no idea who Ellie is. I just googled and apparently she has now left? Is leaving? and the head line is "'NCIS' Fans Are Gutted Over Emily Wickersham’s Heartbreaking Instagram About Ellie Bishop." Well, I know two people who aren't gutted!

I tend to do this with shows where you can see they're going to end it with something dramatic. I have to be in a good frame of mind to handle that.

Grey's Anatomy- sex with dead Denny did me in. I also didn't like all of the crossovers with Private Practice, because I hated what they did to Addison in that show.
This is Us - lost interest this season.
NCIS - just too many seasons.
NCIS: LA - live sports kept interfering with my Chris O'Donnell time.
Lost - grad school conflicted with the time. I refused to buy the season DVDs as they came out because I was burned on that collector disc set when Alias ended.
Survivor - took a hiatus because it conflicted with grad school and choir, but started watching it again a few years ago.
Chesapeake Shores - the main love story drove me up the wall.
Scrubs - watched it off and on over time, need to binge the entire thing.
I did finish Alias, HIMYM, BBT, and the Office. The Office series finale is hands down my favorite series finale ever.

I gave up on Grey’s around the time of the second plane crash. It was all too much at that point and I never watched another episode.

I'm a notorious fuck-it-I'm-out person when it comes to TV series. I'm the absolute opposite with books. Go figure. I do usually watch the final episode eventually (and it always fails to lure me back in to catch up with the rest I've missed). Broke it off with less than 1.5-ish seasons to go off the top of my mind (I'm sure the graveyard is way more filled than I'm willing to remember): Game of Thrones, Lost, iZombie, Bones, Weeds, Bates Motel. Heck, I didn't even finish the Harry Potter movies despite reading all the books. I've never made it past some point in Half-Blood Prince. Oh well. ETA: Somebody should start a SO thread about the TV series you cannot believe you managed to finish. I HATED the David Yates Harry Potter movies. Absolutely hated them. Say what you will about the Chris Columbus HP movies, at least they were true to the books.
