Seems the stress and all took its toll on dh. He's decided he no longer loves me and wants to fake until until our youngest graduates to divorce.
I'm in shock

So sorry that are you going thru that! I am a little confused about the title with covid being the issue? But, it's definitely been a huge stressor for all of us.

Oh honey, I am so sorry! Do you think once things calm down for him and the stress is greatly reduced that things might look a little different?

So sorry that are you going thru that! I am a little confused about the title with covid being the issue? I will guess that the stress of working in a hospital with COVID patients since the pandemic began and throughout it is a large part of what pushed her Dh to make his decision. Including working at the hospital where freecharlie’s uncle recently died of COVID, which was hard on her Dh.

Wow! I'm so sorry. I'm sending you big hugs. You are not the only marriage I know that hasn't survived covid. I'm worried especially about our health care workers. Maybe if you stayed married for a bit, it will change his perspective. I would try some counseling for yourself because it cannot be easy to fake being married. I cannot even imagine how tough and painful that would be for me so I can imagine it's going to be tough for you too.

Not sure how old your youngest is but I would hope that he would attempt counseling. You just recently lost a family member to Covid, he’s probably seen a lot of things where he works, you’ve been under a lot of stress as a teacher so maybe when the dust settles in a couple of days he will at least attempt some counseling.

I am sorry to hear this. You are such a sweet lady.
What is the timeframe? It’s possible you could work things out and come out stronger.
In any case, my thoughts and prayers are with you.

I’m so sorry. What a terrible reminder of the long term mental toll this pandemic has caused. I’m so sad for you that your marriage is yet another casualty of Covid. Sending hugs to you.

I'm so sorry. Maybe with time, things might evolve. I think you're incredibly brave to tough this out until your youngest graduates. I can't even imagine. But I know it's a sacrifice. No matter what happens, you will come out of it into a new chapter of your life story.

I am so sorry to read that. You have all had so much to contend with recently. I do hope it’s just exhaustion and being drained that is making him say that and that he might be willing to go to counselling.
