Ds is off at a school function. Stbx is downstairs drinking and talking to hww and I just want some conversation. So much so, that I thought about reaching out to an ex or looking at dating apps (so not ready for that) so instead, I'm posting here.

I'm recovering after having laser skin resurfacing. I look and feel like a boiled tomato. The peeling process is finally starting and now I also look like Deadpool under his mask--like yesterday's hot dog still rolling around on that rotisserie at 7-eleven.
And the pain!
And to think I paid someone to do this to me!
It certainly better be worth it. I'm hoping to remove sun damage that makes my forehead look like it has liver spots.

I'm hanging out by myself as well this evening. I came upstairs to just get a bit of peace and quiet.
I love my family but at times they can just be LOUD and I am not feeling well today, so I came up, and I showered and as soon as I do my daily yoga (I didn't feel like it this morning) I am going to just veg.

Which is honestly okay...ish. I love my job and my students are awesome do being with them takes my mind off of things. But I also want to be on break. |

Have to work tomorrow, otherwise I would have had a glass of wine. It’s been a long week. Tomorrow is my 6th day in a row. It’s certainly been a full moon week at the hospital I tell you. Lots of Covid and alcoholics. Ugh

My kids were done today and will be bouncing off the walls until next Saturday 🤪. Kinda wish we had 3 more days! Ordinarily I would be looking forward to sleeping in for a change, but the puppy needs to go out ASAP in the morning so no rest for me anytime soon. |

I'm watching All Rise from CBS which is now on Hulu. OWN picked up the show for a 3rd season coming next year. I'm really enjoying it. I want Lola's wardrobe.
We are watching Loudermilk from Prime - one episode each evening. It's very irreverent. He says all the things you really want to say to people in public but have to say only in your head.

I love HWW!
I’ll be honest dating for me was a giant revelation. I had no idea I wasn’t a pathetic washed up loser, because duh, married to someone who treated my like that. It was dating that showed me wow, that totally is not true. And also made realize what a number he had done on my head. Was I ready to date? Decidedly not, and I broke a very good mans heart because I was not even close to be ready for a serious relationship so I regret that. But it was an eye opener for the self esteem.
I’m in bed with my dog, leaving for Playa del Carmen tomorrow when partner comes and then flying to Seattle for Christmas with my mom and both girls. I have zero winter clothes as my things that were shipped have not arrived so I’ll be borrowing my moms stuff, I refuse to buy cold weather clothes.
I watched Unforgiveable on my moms recommendation and while I liked it Sandra Bullocks strange lips and mouth distracted me the whole movie.

Go dive into someone else's life for 40 minutes, live vicariously. I'm not a movie person because I want to go on a journey with the characters and watch them grow over time. |

I just watched Villanova lose by 20 to Creighton in the Big East Men’s Basketball opening game. So I am not in the happiest mood. Watching the games help me pass the winter away, though the weather hardly feels like winter.
