Hello, Peas- I know a suggestion was made to potentially do a Valentine's Day card exchange to keep the warm wishes flowing into 2022. I thought I'd offer to facilitate since I'll be taking over one of the Holiday Card Exchanges in 2022 - sort of a practice round, if you will. We'll limit this exchange to 50 participants. I'm going to close sign ups on 1/16/22 or sooner if we get to 50 participants. I'll do my best to get the list out 1/17/2022. Please try to send the beginning of February to allow cards to arrive in time for Valentine's Day. Rules (blatantly copied right from the Holiday Card Exchange): 1. You may use the name and address that you’re comfortable sharing. PEA name only? OK! First name only? OK! Dog’s name? OK! PO Box? OK! The form does require your Pea name in order that we can satisfy the requirement of rule 4. 2. The type of card you send (handmade, store bought, photo, postcard) is entirely up to you. The purpose of the card exchange is simply to spread love and well wishes to each other. 3. Please send to as many PEAS as you are able to. Please note that you may receive more or less cards than you send out. 4. This exchange is for active members of the board. Therefore, the exchange is restricted to members with at least 50 posts (Junior Member rank) only. Spamming/post-whoring to reach the required number of posts will not result in your admission to the exchange. Interested? This sounds fun just not sure I have it in me to make so many cards again. Maybe I will look through my stash snd see what I have. I so enjoyed getting cards at Christmas.

Bumping again. tc, out of curiosity, about how many have signed up so far? I've decided I'm not road-tripping later this month and into next (BOO HISS) so I am signing up. Just ordered some supplies including a lovely die that I can't wait to use - hopefully they'll arrive in a week or so. BTW, if you're in the Puget Sound area, do you have a one stop good scrapbooking/card making store that you'd recommend? I'd love to visit one in person someday soon! Also, those who order online, do you have a favorite shop? Other than the Holiday Exchange, I don't haven't papercrafted in 14-15 years so I'm totally out of the loop. Thanks so much! |

Just filled out the form. This will be a much needed bit of happiness in dreary, cold and snowy February. MichyM, my favorite online shops are Ellen Hutson, Simon Says Stamp and scrapbook.com. Ellen ships super fast and, given your location, you should receive your purchase really quickly. Even almost cross country, if I place an order over the weekend, she ships on Monday (unless she's having a big sale) and I typically have it on Wednesday or Thursday. Have fun shopping! |

I love Artco in Tacoma and Ben Franklin in Bonney Lake. I try to visit both whenever I'm in WA. For online, Scrapbook.com gets 90% of my purchases. They are in AZ and ship quickly. I mostly buy from myself at Close to my Heart. I also shop at scrapbook dot com they are pretty quick. If you sign up for texts occasionally they will have sales or free items you can add up your order it does effect shipping but sometimes it’s a good deal. I miss scrapbook stores.
