My cards are all done and in the mail. It is just lightly snowing, so DH was able to make a run to the nearest mail drop box. Hopefully all will arrive before February 14. Happy Valentine’s Day!

I finally got mine in the mail this week. I've received a couple so far. It's fun to have something in the mail besides junk and bills!
P.S. I don't scrap anymore, so mine are store bought, but they are cute!

I like the idea of a spring one not attached to a holiday. I had thought Easter but like the idea of just spring better. I can’t think of Halloween just yet.

I dropped my cards off at the post office this afternoon and checked my P.O. Box. I was delighted to find cards from slicksister, luckyjune and TC. They are adorable.
I was happy and relieved that the two cards that were missing the first digit of my zip code (6907 instead of 06907) found their way to me. I have been beating myself for not noticing that my zip code was not complete. I hope that I will be as fortunate with the rest of the ones that have already been mailed.

But I also fear it will just go to everyone's junk mail/spam again. pepperwood, I'm pretty sure it was my error regarding your zip code. Converting from the Form to Excel probably treated that data as a number and dropped the zero and I just plain missed it. I apologize for that. I'm happy to facilitate again for a spring card exchange (and now I know what to look for regarding zip codes). I had a copule of ideas for this, but kind of want to get past the Feb 14 "deadline" that's not a real deadline for this exchange before I throw the ideas out there. I also feel like we should have a new sign up as all we were asking for this one was Valentine's Day. I'll post a new thread once we are past Valentine's Day with some ideas I have and we can discuss if there's interest and at what level. Sound okay? Thanks everyone for brightening my February. |

Thanks for your cute card, TC, and sending an email to everyone to correct the zip code. I can't believe I didn't notice it. Hopefully the post office will continue to figure it out and send the cards to me. If anyone gets my card returned with the wrong address, I hope they will send it back out with the full zip code. I wonder if there were any other east coast peas with a zip code beginning with 0. For future reference, excel does have a special format option for zip codes that puts in the leading zero, but it is buried within the "other number formats">special. The only reason I know that obscure fact is that I have to wrangle data at work. Thanks for all your work in coordinating this fun exchange. |

So I intended to mail my cards out earlier (the sack of cards has been sitting on my desk for about a week) but work got crazy so I just got around to mailing them all out yesterday.
Hopefully everyone gets them in time!
And yes to a future spring card swap.
