After sitting 30 miles away from me for 4 days the Box arrived and I ripped it open. All I can say WOW! Very happy that I joined again. This is a question for #teampeek In my box there is no fans for decorations or stamping block. Am I missing them or they didn't give us these items this time? Thank you!

azcrafty Those we’re not in my box either but in the book one of the classes said one of those items be were included as part of the kit. So I’m not sure. I was going to wait until the unboxing to ask in the Facebook group.

I was going to wait until the unboxing to ask in the Facebook group. After reading your post I looked and found that - unless it’s an error and should be in the next column. I might email to ask. ETA I emailed and already heard back! There was supposed to be one and was ordered in November, but it’s “somewhere in the vast ocean” due to supply chain issues. So they included a little something else instead. The extra something instead of the block was the little birthday pin.

They are awesome! I don’t like anything to do with stitching, thread and needles, sewing, but I’m going for it - it looks so cool.

I'm #teampeek and I'm so happy I did! This box is packed! There's very little that wasn't something I'll use again. I was a good little enabler and brought the box to a get together with some friends and got two of them to try to get into the Papercrafting event with me! I am so excited for this event. This weekend I'll be doing some of the homework so I can hopefully make some of the cards in real time.
Thank you for solving the mystery question @cardboxer!

BTW, on facebook there’s talk about the gems in the Spellbinder sneak peek. It’s normal that some participants got one color, some another, so if any of you peekers wonder why you don’t have the color that’s on the sneak, that’s why. I like the color in the sneak peek so will buy some. 💎

I don’t think I’m giving anything away. The Spellbinders sneak peek on FB that was posted for everyone shows blue gems. Catherine posted that some got those and some yellow. No other differences.

I got the same colours as those in the spoiler above. I've only looked through my box, quickly, once. I'm wanting the official unboxing to still have some element of "new" to me.

I started the homework. There is a ton of tedious die cutting especially if you like dimension! I'm going to try to get a little done as I have time each day so I'm really just doing the stamping & assembly during the class.
Just a tip...I found my leftover Stamp Market colored cardstock from the October event and I was able to do all of the die cutting from that.

Has anyone tried both the Concord & 9th and Stamp Market inks? I'm going to treat myself to some new ink pads and I'm not sure which one I want to buy. Any feedback would be appreciated.

We got 3 full size C&9 ink pads in the Oct 21 box. They are foam pads not cloth. They stamped great but it takes some getting used to. You have to ink your stamps with a light touch. That said, I did buy all their ink cubes and I swatched them this week. They stamped great but I did notice almost all of the colors are an exact match to Altenew and Gina K colors I already have. Honestly, if I were you, I’d go with Gina K ink pads.

Has anyone tried both the Concord & 9th and Stamp Market inks? I'm going to treat myself to some new ink pads and I'm not sure which one I want to buy. Any feedback would be appreciated. C&9 are more like Catherine Pooler - sponge pads, juicy. I didn’t think I’d like them because of that but they’re really nice. (Some were included in their Summer Camp.) They have liquid water colors to match. Stamp Market inks seem high quality like most dye inks, which are made by the same company and branded. Her colors are very clear and many are soft. I like how she labels them (bad eyes). A couple colors are very close. I have Gina K too - and Hero Arts, Altenew, IO (Impression Obsession for their dark/medium/lights and some unusual neutrals), others. I shop by color more than brand, as my LSS and Jennifer McGuire advised many when I was learning to stamp. Recently I picked up some SSS’s Pawsitively Saturated inks and like them very much too though would prefer cubes. Yana enabled me in her blog. Another great ink is Versafine Clair which stamps fine details so well. The magic is it can be heat embossed many minutes after stamping, even when it feels dry. I stamped 7 different sentiments with Clair’s dark black Nocturne on the front of a card one at a time and stopped partway through, so about 8 minutes, yet embossed them all at once. They also do second generation stamping very well, and even third. Gina K’s inks are very nice too, and she has more colors than some companies. I don’t find they blend differently than some of the others. Many of her colors are the barest bit toned down compared to, say, The Stamp Market’s. That’s not a negative. Someone I know who has full set syndrome for many companies told me she thinks of Gina K’s as more autumn. I wouldn’t say that - she has lovely light pinks and blues and yellows, but maybe that bit of toned down-ness plus more autumn colors than some other companies was what she was picking up on. Sorry, someone said ink, which turns on the color switch. I worked with house paint colors and color theory for some years and the obsession with color transferred to inks. Just my take; YMMV. It will vary.

I only have the three Concord and 9th inks from the last card event. Colors are lovely, but one is so dry it’s almost unusable. One is good and the other way too juicy.

You’re welcome. Btw, I have full set syndrome for Distress Oxides. They’re my desert island inks for techniques, blending and often stamping, though not for detailed sentiments.

Holy moly, @cardboxer describes the inks so perfectly - I have all the inks she listed (just a handful, not full sets!) and agree with her impressions. I plan to pick up more of the Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively saturated inks, gradually as they are in stock/on sale. I like them and their colours. I like the Stamp Market inks a little MORE than Concord &9th. I just get a better impression from them somehow, and my one concord &9th pad didn't seem juicy enough right from the start. I also reach most often for my distress oxides for everything other than detailed stamping!
