I don’t start at 7:00. I waited until 10:00 PST and then just started in order with the replays. There is really no difference unless you want to ask a question in the chat. I’ve never really found a need and the extra sleep in the morning is helpful. The first card class I did stated at 6:00 am PST and I thought I just had to join live to really get in the spirit…I was wrong (and exhausted).
I’m not a fan of the scrapping or holiday events because I like to tailor my layouts to my photos. I’ve done two of them and the projects are cute, they just don’t work with my photos.

I have a couple suggestions too. Catherine encouraged emailing suggestions to create@scrapbookandcards.com.
Since all of the videos are listed/linked in one of the Guides. It’s quick and easy to make a playlist on youtube so all videos are in one category in your youtube library.
In case you haven’t made playlists before, open the youtube app > library > new playlist > type a name for the playlist. Using the links in the Guide, open up a video > select Save and choose the playlist that you just created. Go back to the Guide and click on the next video, etc. That’s how it works using the youtube app on an iPad.

scrapcat the it's your birthday die doesn't work for anyone. They said to just throw it away. scrapcat during the unboxing and the meet-n-greet before class (?) they explained the manufacturer shrunk the die without permission to try to make it fit. We were told to toss it. But someone or more than one person figured out it can be used. She showed/explained it in the forum but while I thought I saved the post don’t see it. Several people said in the class chat it could be used - maybe word by word (?) - and Amy saw the comment(s) and mentioned it. Ooh! Thanks for the info. You are right, I may be able to cut it so I could at least use it to hug the edge of some letters, then just cut the middle with an exacto knife. Thanks! pinklady great take on everything and great suggestions! I think for some attendees there is a facebook/youtube learning curve, but like you say, they go over this continually throughout. My Mom is 74, she isn't great with technology (she is actually better than some ppl I work with who are much younger), but she had no problem navigating things. She took her time, she def prefers the videos where she can pause or go back. She would never insult anyone or complain. And all of the teachers/hosts continually offered help if ppl wanted to email them, send them a DM, connect somehow, they all were very gracious in that way. Suggestion: Thinking of the thing with the discount codes, I agree with someone who said I would rather the codes be after the event, bcz there's not enough time to do it all. So maybe to avoid having ppl asking about the codes, have them not be until the Monday after event for a couple days then. I need a chance to decompress and evaluate. In turn, I didn't purchase bcz codes were already expired and I figure I can live without it. I guess that's the argument for having be in the chaos, ppl probably just purchase without thinking too much bcz they want to use code!

Just an enabler alert, Taylored Expression released a die set that coordinates with the stamp set we received in the March class.
