Oh. I think elaine may be right. This might be related to anti-Semitism. It was bothering me that I’d seen that symbol somewhere but I couldn’t place it for the life of me. It took me over an hour to search for it. I think it’s the symbol that’s being used by a Finnish fascist group. linkAn event for the group: "The ideology of some of the speakers is also focused heavily on strong anti-semitism." link (The event was called "Awakening." I wonder if that's why Crimo has an "awake" tattoo and uses the same word for his social media ID.) |

My husband said that pretty soon no one will go anywhere. And I said, yes, they will, because it will “never” happen to them. Too many people don’t care until they are directly affected. |

Personally, I am glad he was captured alive. None of this suicide to avoid consequences crap. He will spend the rest of his life in jail, never get married, miss holidays with his family, never get to travel, will eat shitty food, and have bubba butt f*cker for a roommate.  Couldn't happen to a better person.  |

I was aware, of course, of the rise of hate groups, in particular anti-Semitic groups, but these groups seem to be much more widespread than I realized. I assume that they are radicalizing people online? I guess that I foolishly assumed that most people know better, and are not ignorant enough to believe the bs that these groups must be selling. I was so, so wrong.  |

Also, although I'm saddened by this and horrified, I'm just not surprised anymore. The recent shooting that caused me to say "really? ?" is the one at the mall in Copenhagen yesterday. European countries have these things happen so rarely that it's a shock when it does. Isn't it sad that people aren't surprised when it happens in the United States?  Yet the GOP take every opportunity to defend their right for everyone and sundry to carry a gun in the US ....cause you know strict gun controls don't work  |

The tweet about Iceland was in response to a tweet from MTG where she was demanding that his school, police and medical records be made public so that we can know what medications or other issues made him do this. Of course the one correlation that seems to be ignored by those on the right is that many of these shooters idolize Trump or other right wing ideologies.... |

He was dressed as a woman.
Escaped with the crowd.
Went to his mother's house, nearby.
Borrowed his mother's car.
Second rifle found in car with him.
He also possessed other fire arms pistols in general.
The one I missed was... They got info from his purchase of the rifle. His name etc.
Some officers were able to name him when photos were released.
There had been some previous LE contacts but nothing of a violent nature.
LR had no knowledge of videos.

Apparently there is a video with him in woman's clothing. He was seen.
