Mental illness is an epidemic. Mental illness is rife in many, many countries worldwide. Sadly in your country that exists alongside a terrifying ease with which to obtain guns. THAT is the problem. |

I have no problem with anybody's supporting the stated mission:
"BRCC is proud to partner with the Dallas Cowboys, who are strongly committed to our mission of supporting veterans, first responders, and America's men and women in uniform,"
But the timing could be seen as being blind to the room, if innocent, & cruelly ill-conceived, if deliberate.

The difference is the weapon of choice. The assault type rifle. The shooter at to he parade could not have done what he did with a knife or a pistol, even an automatic pistol.
I will repeat again, differences in the past were 'solved' with a fist fight behind the barn, so to speak. It was not final/fatal. People had time to think afterwards and there was a resolution, not dead.

It’s guns.
America has way more guns and has way easier access to all kinds of guns.
Lots of countries have violent video games.
Lots of countries have people with mental illness (some needing/taking medication, some not)
Lots of countries have whatever else we are trying to blame this on.
The only difference is the access to guns.
We have easy access to guns and other places have various reasonable gun control.
