Every Christmas...he asks for one of the Star Wars sets. Does your son still collect Pez dispensers? Oh, that's awesome  I gave my son and his partner the Friends set (on a complete whim because they has just finished watching the series) and it was a complete dud. I hope they gave it to someone else and didn't just toss it. And no to the Pez dispensers. My goodness, it's got to be almost 20 years  since he stopped collecting them. That was as much fun for e as it was for him! His dad may have them boxed up at his house, I dunno. For all I know C may have gone through all that stuff on one of his visits back to Seattle over the years. |

Yes the ghosts came out really cool on the vellum. I am trying to decide what I want to use for my autumn cards. I want to start on those as well for those in the swap who don't celebrate Halloween. |

I gave that set to my husband when we finished re-watching the series. He had fun putting it together, but then was sort of "now what"?

I had fun playing with a couple of die sets this morning. Used the pumpkin stack from the Jaded Blossom fall gnome add-on dies along with a bunch of scraps and bits & pieces here:  pumpkin stack bd card by Gramma Dee, on Flickr Used some of my Daisy Mae tattered dies for this one for my dgd. This last spring she was running to check all the fairy doors in a park down by the beach. Good thing I am not trying to mail this one in a card envelope. grammadee the wish door card is fantastic! Such a fun card 😀 And the pumpkin stack card is really nice too. Are they secured down in a way to make them look puffed in the middle? Or did you add layers there in the middle?

Or did you add layers there in the middle? Thankyou. I curled the pumpkins with my finger, then put small pop dots only in the middle of each layer except the bottom one. Just handed that one to my dh to take to the post office. I will hear about it if it costs him extra to send it... |

Awesome card kmage . How did you make the spider web ? Thanks for asking! I was actually pretty proud of that.  I freehanded it with black Nuvo drops. Ran two lines, down and across, then 3 diagonal and then "swoopy" connected them. Let it dry while I made the flowers and leaves, punched, etc. I did not have a spiderweb stamp and I figured with the drippy goo theme, if the Nuvo went a little drippy it would be fine. Forgot to add azcrafty, you got me following Mindy Eggen! Wow...amazing stuff, just amazing. |
