those fabric circles are WAY bigger than I thought  For whatever reason (maybe not enough coffee today? ) I like those chunky gold puffy numbers and I normally hate gold anything. The long boi labels with numbers are weird.. I don't know how I would ever use something like that? I always end up cutting the long boi (!!!!) labels in half and have the cut edge go on the edge of the page. |

Elle Studios Document December kit/stuff is up now. I ordered the kit, the cardstock stickers, and the phrase stickers. I'm kind of kicking myself for not getting the alphabets. I enjoyed this kit last year. I am a simple scrapper so this should suit my needs just fine. |

I think it's worth praising AE/Inked for getting the album patterns right this year. There is a 6x8, the favourite size for this project, that will work perfectly for those who've been using the large graphic letter albums with red Ali has put out over the years. There is the fun and inclusive pattern for 10x8 (I'm assuming documenters with kids are most likely to have many photos and use this format anyway). Finally, there's the darker but very pretty and not-stricly-DD Liz Tamanaha design for those who want the right mix between whimsical and subtle. I find it's one of the best years yet for album covers. Although, yes, ilovesmores , yikes on that super crumpled Santa pattern corner. Oof.  It happens frequently when Ali sneaks new albums but I sure would have tried filming it so it wouldn't show (too much). One more Fa La La Live to go and we'll have seen all the main products. I'm curious about the handlettered messy circles in the main kit preview. Anybody got some info on those? Did they punch out chipboard or is it another material? They look nice. |

I ended up placing a second order and was able to use the coupon codes again. I've enjoyed the kits this year and the simplicity has made it easy. I also ordered the red original album from Citrus Twist. I don't need a big album and I used a green album from year two years ago and loved it. I have a lot less going on these days and a smaller album is a better fit for me. |

I ordered from the Elle Studio collection too: Kit, paper, tab stamp, letter stickers, and phrase stickers. I'm trying to catch up on my backlog of DD albums and I'm hopeful having one set of coordinated supplies will help me knock some of the backlog down.

I got an email from Elle’s Studio that said if you are bundling with next months kit, it doesn’t matter how many times you put an order in during the initial ordering period. There’s no limit on the number of times you can use the codes thru 8/31! Just make sure you enter both codes.

I think the Santa print album would look better as a 6x8. It’s such a busy pattern and v repetitive, less is more.

I watched a bit of the live today. Much much better. Quick to go through the product, had cameras set up.
Usually there are pieces of the kit I don't like. Too many and I don't buy. From what saw, (missed first 5 mins) I didn't have that feeling. My least fave pieces are the felt circles (too big), and the santa/parcel stickers. I have used parcel stickers from a prior pinkfresh release, and I like vintage looking santas (not colored a crazy pink) rather than cartoon santas. Not sure about paper designs, so will have to take another look on monday. Nothing I really really want other than the black chipboard circles.

I watched the whole live. I wasn’t expecting to, but the pace was quick and held my attention and the products were better than I anticipated. 👀 I’m with @northrigg - usually I don’t like most of the kit, so it’s not worth getting for me. This year I like it all, with those felt circles being my least desired item. Pokeballs all the way. 😆 Maybe I’d use them in a Disney album - maybe make a Mickey head out of them. 🧐
Anyhoooo…. It’s all good. I’m excited.

I watched most of the Live. Liked it better — they felt more prepared.
I’m shocked by how much I like the main kit. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I’ll probably order it…
They also talked about Product Play. I didn’t pay a ton of attention but it sounded like they were going to show projects in three levels of difficulty. Like quick and easy, then medium, then much more involved. I kind of like that idea.

I think I’m in trouble with this year’s December Daily release!!😱. I usually order very little from Ali’s release, and this is the first time ever that I really want the main kit, Liz’s kit, and an album! I’m scared to see the rest of the release, I’m afraid I’m going to want everything! I’m also afraid to see this year’s prices 🫣

I’m also really impressed that Felicity Jane is finally trying to get their kit out at an earlier date! I’m usually kind of over it all by the time they do their release.
