Puppy is finally asleep-ish (her witching hour - when she goes completely bonkers - is around 10:30-11PM every. single. night). I am finally going to have some time to watch the main kit Fa La La Live at 11:30PM. Phew!

Ugh at the shipping is right. I usually spend $150 or more, that is free shipping everywhere else.
I didn’t like one single item in the main kit. Usually it’s 50/50. Way to geared to the 8x10 album. Easy pass.

Emergency foster placement (but we're spoiling her like she's ours - as she deserves). We don't qualify for adoption as we don't have outside space, alas (this would totally have been a foster fail). She's a 3 and a half month-old American Cocker Spaniel and she's absolutely darling. All black, sleeps with the whites of her eyes showing so obviously, we've nicknamed her Satan's cutest daughter...     |

$28 for all other international locations Ok no. Seriously, if you just want a mini kit, that's pretty much double the price with the flat rate.  I knew those large boxes meant shipping price increase but 28, hells no. Who the heck thought these large boxes were a good idea? I could see it for the main kit but for the mini kits? What? During a time of inflation and serious increase of paper/chipboard? |

International shipping is $22, not $28! I’m happy that there is a special Canada rate this year. $15 is a lot but less than last year. Edit: oh I see the confusion, it’s listed as $28 higher up and $22 further down on the post. Okie well who knows how much shipping is.  |

My quick thoughts:
- Love that city scene paper. Those dramatic colours with the doodly art (Matthew again, I assume?), just beautiful.
- Not sure how I feel about those dark night sky (like) papers. I like them but I'm not sure they're a great fit generally speaking for December Daily. My mind definitely went to Halloween seeing those.
- The woodland pattern is cute.
- A lot of cream, huh?
- Unpopular opinion: I'm kind of over tags at this stage. Sorry! I've just had too many of them, especially with the Ali Edwards products.
- I kind of feel like the muted shades are a tad too dark. Maybe it's just the video setup but that green looks nearly black. Anyone else feeling they should've gone a bit lighter?
- Considering how few 3x4 cards there are in this kit, I think they should have done an alternative colour scheme/pattern disposition on the back to maximise the value of these.
- Who did the lettering on those 4x4 cards? Doesn't look like Ali at all. If she did it, she should use this style more often. I kind of dig it. Reminds me of the brush lettering craze from 2014-2015.
- I only see Poké Balls when it comes to those felt circles. GOTTA CATCH 'EM ALL! My generation's showing...
- The Santas still look cute to me although the white Santa is very pink. He forgot the sunscreen!
- The chipboard add-on numbers with gold foil are uh-mazing! Very Felicity Jane-esque. Such a shame about the international flat rate. There's no way these don't sell out before the box bundling period ends.
- I still like those nested chipboard circles. I feel like these will last you a long time in your December stash and be very versatile for different December aesthetics over the years.
- The messy foam-mounted circles are a great staple item for those who like Ali's handwriting. Again, solid DD stash material to use through the years. Wish these were chipboard though.
- I don't feel like the buildable album covers are special enough to lure many people over to this approach. Plus, it won't be available in time for the DD release so... Eh.
- So, none of the kits have tiny word/phrase stickers this year, right? Huh, that's a first, I think.

Love that city scene paper. Those dramatic colours with the doodly art Yes. I loved that. I might get the digitals for the paper. I LOVE the red felt circles. I guess at 47 I am not understanding the poke balls thing but I have seen them and know what you're talking about. The woodland scene and the stars remind me of IKEA. I'm excited to see the add-ons on Monday. I don't think I need the kit. I need that Halloween kit. OMG. So cool. But I don't scrap that so I wouldn't know what I'd do with it. I wish that I had a Disney at Halloween trip planned. Then I could justify it. But it's not like paper goes bad... |

I truly hope that they stop combining the 6x8 and 10x8. Just do 2 separate kits for each size. That cutting down to 6x8 doesn't work for everything in the kit.

The 10 by 8 papers have killed the main kit for me. I don't like the size and I only really like 2 or 3 papers. I really don't like the ho ho ho, the bright star paper, the beige or the dark paper with the icons.
Whilst I like the embellishments, the only one I really want are the chipboard circles.
I'm now questioning whether I really want to get the PP kit given how a samey it is. I still love the flower album but I like how citrus twists look on my shelves. Thinking candy apple red.
So basically I'm talking myself out of getting anything.

I was thinking for 6X8 just cut it in half down the middle and make a less wide 2-page layout with it. I've done that by cutting down 12X12 paper that I only had one of. I really like having different sizes of pages in my albums. |

I started playing the phone app game Pokemon Go when it released in 2016. I downloaded it thinking it would be fun for my two younger kids (then 7 & 9) to do together, as I was always trying to make my mandated Outdide Time and Playground Exploration more alluring. 😆 Within days **I** was ALL IN, and it wound up that it was my older boys (then 13 & 15) who became Pokemon Go fans, along with my husband. 😂 Still going strong after six years, we’re ready for the exciting conclusion of Go Fest tomorrow, as a matter of fact. The felt pokeballs COULD work as a December story, as the Community Day in December is an extra special affair for PG. There is no age limit to being (or becoming, apparently) a Pokémon Trainer! 🤣 The kit made me instantly think of Disney Halloween too. I was gutted the Oogie Boogie Bash tix sold out so fast, before I could formulate a plan to go. 😭😭 It’s a definite Must Do for next year. My daughter has never been and NBC is her absolute favorite. She Disneybounds Jack every trip! |

Meh. Sorta like that, don’t like that, that’s kinda okay…. Just meh. Was soooo excited for this year, and am now hanging out for the extras and hoping that these will save this years experience for me… DEFINITELY like this years kits way more than the tomato red, orange and hot pink vibes of last year but hate cream, not into scandi animals, have to love it to pay the $28 shipping, and am annoyed I like the Halloween kit more than the dd kit and I DONT EVEN CELEBRATE HALLOWEEN 🎃
And completely agree with the pea above who said they’re frustrated that they should just have a kit for the 8x10 and one for 6x8 already instead of a bitta both that means there are elements both sizes of scrapper can’t use or has to cut down of flip so they’re hard to read or…
MEH. BAH HUMBUG.

honeypea that happened to me with Tsum Tsum! I downloaded the game on my phone and my daughter had it on the iPad. I did it just so I could give her more hearts to play in the game. She tired of it long ago and I'm still playing. And the Disneyland halloween dates are all sold out? Wow. That's incredible. I didn't realize that. My friend and I were planning to go but now we're going to put it off until our 50th as our kids are too busy in the Fall for us to find a date that works. I guess we'll really need to plan ahead!

I also just looked at my Christmas supply bins and I’ve got so much stuff even thought I culled it last year, I also bought way too much. Soooo, going to really commit to less purchases this year.

Just finished watching the Live, and like most of the main kit, hoping I don’t like too many of the add-ons to keep the cost down. Agree that the green is too dark and looks black, I wish she used a different shade of green in the kit. Love the “pokeball” felt circle pockets, I will probably use at least one of those for a Pokemon layout about my son. Still loving the Liz T floral album the most, so that may end up in my cart for another project. I thought the red w/ gold stars buildable album would be great for a Disney trip |

They were available for weeks afterwards. I had actually been online the day they went on sale to get mine and I was surprised that it took weeks and weeks after I bought mine for them to actually sell out. this year They were gone the first day I think. I obviously had to sell mine last year, but next year when I'm hoping to go to Disneyland, I am planning on getting online of the day they are available. I will actually schedule that day off of work! |
