@northrigg They were in the shop's DD sale earlier this summer! The 2021 main kit glitter titles were sold as a set for 3.99. I doubt they have any left since they sold out during that sale. Thanks! My dog was a black cocker spaniel ....he had huge giant paws. He was a rascal......loved to swim |

Tilly loves to put her front paws in everything water, too! Including her drinking bowls.  Was there a specific glitter title you were looking for from last year's main kit? I've already adhered two down but that also means I have two left.  |

I like the look of a number of the Winter items although still waiting for Ikea to open here in NZ! We do finally have an official announcement and a date though - land has been purchased and a full size store will open in Auckland with completion by the end of 2024. There will also be a full e-commerce offering together with smaller stores in Wellington & Christchurch to follow. Can't wait I don’t want to hijack but do you know which part of Auckland they’re going to be in? Not that it really matters since I haven’t lived there for 24 years, but you know, I’m just curious which part of the city they chose. |

The traffic can already be bad there some weekends so I'm guessing it's going to get a lot worse. |

And thank you for the IKEA photos! I really like your ceramic ornaments. Our local ikea shut down last week and I'm pretty upset about it (for many reasons, many sentimental and also because I'm concerned about all the people who worked there) so I don't know if I'll be able to get to another for their Vinter range (I'm lucky, I'm an hour's drive to two other stores and a tube ride to a third). I also realised that ikea has featured in my DD every year so it's going to be odd not having that somewhere.

But my mother's foster adventure continues. She's picking up two BFF doxies today who will face the challenge of needing to be adopted as a pair. I'm going to get some furry snuggles from them later in the week since my place is puppy-less since this morning (it feels empty, not gonna lie). It's not a happy story but since you've had them in there every year, I think it makes sense to include this chapter closing as well. I appreciate the offer though No problem! I bought last year’s and didn’t like them. They aren’t scored down the middle and folded awkwardly. Holes were also small so I had to punch new ones. Not worth it IMO. I think SC has a set of attacher dues, I use those. |

My items from Elle's Studio arrived today. For the stamps I got Christmas Phrases, Fa La La, and Christmas Tabs Vol. 2. I have tried out a few stamps from each set and can show them later. DS is listening to Christmas music on my phone with the Amazon Music app. He loves Christmas music and is calming for him. Anyways, not 100% sold on the stamps. They will be used, but they dont seem to stamp well. I had to stamp the image at least 3 times and for some, that caused bleeding, so the lines aren't crisp. Or the letters to bleed out too. I am using my Tim Holtz stamping platform with regular pressure and tried a variety of stamps.  I also wish the round tab stamp (tabs vol. 2 - bottom) was larger so the phrases could fit inside. You will see what I mean when I share some photos. |

Cocoa Daisy made an instagram post of their kit today. It's around $50 and you can pre-order but they don't have any images because the items haven't been produced yet.  Wouldn't they have the designer mock-ups? I like saving $5 but I'm still not going to pre-order a kit that I haven't seen yet. |

That's always irritated me about Ali's voice, and today was the first time I noticed that Lisa is doing it too. Ugh. Drives me crazy too. Ali's is natural so I'm fine with hers, but Lisa's is affectation, which is what drives me crazy. Why can't people just be who they are and drop the pretense? |

I was watching the Simple Stories Creativation stand from earlier this year with the new Christmas lines on YouTube and they had printed all the mock-ups of the product they didn't have samples off. Yes, that's the spirit! |

I think it's pretty clear that Lisa picked it up from speaking regularly with Ali. But she dips in and out of it like a yodeling Swissman and then lingers in the creaky voice register quite long so I can see why it could be interpreted as fake/put on. Pretty sure it isn't, though. |

Can you offset the purchase by selling off a few items you've purchased from this release (a couple of those stitched hearts, particular embellies from a pack, etc.)? You can make those $8 back pretty easily. This thread is the perfect place to market anything you're not likely to use. |

I am mulling over the purchase of a die set from AliExpress, each number is approximately 2 inches/5 cm high. It looks like it would be easy to use year after year, dramatic and impactful without taking up too much precious estate thanks to that slim profile. Love that you get to play around by adding or withholding the outline. I can see doing the outline in a glitter paper or by adding embossing powder in a tone-on-tone finish for an edgy touch. Total cost with shipping is under 5€. What do the DD-ers think?  |

I got what I wanted from AE because this was the first year that I really liked all the pieces. Went back only once to grab the numbers stamp set. I was wondering if I was going to regret my choice when FJ finally came out with their kit. But after seeing only a few sneaks, including the pattern papers I'm happy with my choice. The FJ kit looks flat! The color scheme is so washed out and dull! Very happy with my choice this year 😊

I think it's pretty clear that Lisa picked it up from speaking regularly with Ali. But she dips in and out of it like a yodeling Swissman and then lingers in the creaky voice register quite long so I can see why it could be interpreted as fake/put on. Pretty sure it isn't, though.
