H&M has some beautiful Christmas products this year. Here are a few of my faves... 1. This absolutely adorable reusable fabric Advent calendar for only 14.99€. Bellhop mouse? Candy cane-clutching bunny? Metal hoops to hang your daily gifts from? Yes, yes, yes. It just came in stock on the French H&M website so it might not be available everywhere just yet but definitely something to look out for. 2. A table runner featuring a townscape with row houses, people and even a few passing cars. The background is in gold yellow and soft grey for a touch of luxury! This one retails for 9.99€ in Europe. 3. Last but not least, the row house cookie jar! It's about 25 cm/10 inches high so definitely a statement piece for the kitchen or living room. Perfect all year round. The soft grey outlines make it an easy piece to pair with so many things or have sit in the background of your contemporary Nativity scene/ornament display scene. It retails for 19.99€. TFS sleepingbooty might have to check out H&M here to see whether any of these are available.

I got a notice this morning to say that my AE DD box has shipped, and the tracking number has just showed up on UPS. Delivery by 17 October so it's taking the slow boat.

OMG I want my Ali DD stuuuuff.(stomps foot pouting) Seriously my order hasn't shipped yet and it's only been like 14 gajillion years since I ordered.
I'm ready to get started on my album. I know, I know, it's only October 1st. But 2019 my mum passed so Christmas just wasn't and then 2020/2021 were Covidy, soooo yeah I'm ready! Dangit! I'm so jealous of all you I-got-a-shipping-notice peas. lol

I've really enjoyed their kit the last few years. But this one, for some reason, is just meh (to me). I'm not a huge fan of that pinky peach colour they use. The kit doesn't have an album, not even a TN. And that price!? I think I'll be passing this year.

Catching up on Christmas stuff!
Re: the SC kit.. $45 for ALL flat things?? No thank you. Generic star chipboard. Generic circle numbers. Generic gold alpha stickers. Generic snowflakes.. granted they look plastic but you could use any snowflake in its place. Fairly generic labels printed on paper thinner than single ply toilet paper.. I mean c'mon! At the very least get some puffy stickers going on because that's ridiculous.
However lol, I do like the papers including that awful Happy Holidays abomination. The stamp is pretty generic too.. which is great for versatility but not something I absolutely need to have.

I agree, the paper pack and the Goldenwood December stamp sets are where it's at for this SC release. The papers are easy to use with different kits and collections from other brands as well. Perfect for the Crate Paper Christmas line lovers. The wish list/give list duo paper is a great idea. Love the inclusion of a little Feliz Navidad. That doodly green-on-green star/snowflake pattern is so simple but lovely. The large reindeer head is adorable. Just a major win for me! I'm side-eyeing Sierra Martinez big time for spelling it Tis' in the die-cut pack. Seriously, how hard is it? Just Google it if unsure. But come on. 'Tis. Contracted form of "it is". The chipboard stars have a fun, wonky shape but that chipboard is sooo thin. It looks like cardstock to me! What's up with that, SC?

I was planning on buying at least one set of stamps from Kerri Bradford’s Christmas release, but none of them were really calling to me. I like them all, just don’t feel like I need any of them. That might very well change after I see other people’s projects using them. I was the same way with the stamp sets from Ali. I liked most of them really well, but never felt like I had to have any of them. Im so surprised, stamps are usually my biggest weakness🤔😂

I really love those SC papers, the green washi is adorable and very usable. I like the stamp set, but the problem with IACB stamps is that once you e bought a bunch of them they all start repeating.
I thought the stars were from a craft sticker sheet with the backing paper removed (how they often photograph the craft alpha sheets), shocked those are supposedly chipboard. 🧐
Sierra’s stuff mostly bugs me almost always, but the diecuts are cute to me (typo not withstanding).
I really want those papers.

Ali’s album is up in the Christmas past class. She has several videos up. I just like hearing how she thinks. Her album is great!

I kinda like some of the papers in the SC kit but I'm feeling very pouty they are TN size and not 6x8 so I'll likely skip it. I love the Halloween collection but haven't bought that either for the same reason. Maybe I need to suck it up and try out the TN size again. I did a few layouts in one several years back and didn't love working in that size. Maybe I need to give it another try and scoop up one of the adorable CT albums.

Oh, I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news but it's not even TN-sized! That's a set of 3x8 cards/papers, not 4.75x8.75...

Did I miss a new cool size or is SC just doing their own thing? It's actually kind of a past trend that was semi-exclusive to Inked Brands (mostly AE but SC now have a couple 3x8 albums in store, including the starry one). Originally, the format came from Jamaica Edgell, I'm pretty sure. She offered clear acrylic covers for 3x8 years ago as part of her micro DD releases (and still has frosty sets in store). It caught on at a niche level. Then Inked went for it. 3x8 peaked a few years ago, I want to say around 2018.

The Amazon gift catalogue arrived in my mail today and I'm considering throwing out all my dd plans. I'm obsessed I just got mine? Obsessed with what? I thought it was just toys? I love the paper that they used and I can't believe I'm saying this but I love the colours, especially the orangey red! Goes so beautifully with the sage green, bluey frosted ice, kraft and the stormy grey! I also love the font used for the title page, the ombre effect & the animals. From the book there are several pages/themes that can be incorporated into my album - road to remember -sharing -story of the sweater -wish lists -tickets - hugs -toys we love (from the past) - season of giving -journey - cheer -dress up - colouring -merry memories I'm either thinking that I use this as my album, adding in pages OR I cut the pages out and use them in my album OR I wait and use it for another year .... Either way that would mean throwing out my plans for this year But mostly I am now obsessed by the orangey red.

Well I've got my DD shipping notice. UPS estimate a delivery date of the 7th October which considering the package hasn't even left the warehouse yet I don't think that'll be happening. I think it took a good week to leave the warehouse last year

Phew guys, I finally caught up on this thread! I love all the chatting but it took me forever to get to the end. I've decided for this year I'm going to do a super mini size using an older album from Jamaica, I think it's 4x5? Definitely a big switch up from 10x8 last year! I might've picked up too many supplies... I got a few things from Ali (including the main kit), the Felicity Jane collection (because it's their last year), Freckled Fawn's Kit, and Layered Life. I did do a major purge of my stash before ordering for this year so that's at least something right? Ha. I also am sure I will use some of these supplies in other places, like Project Life, and I will have to save everything that doesn't work in the mini size for another year or sell/give it away. I'll share more about my plans on my youtube channel later. How did you guys get the Amazon catalog, I want one!! I had so many other thoughts as I was reading through this thread but I've forgotten them now... oh well. I also finished my 2021 album and shared a flip through on my youtube. ETA: Oh! I remembered something, ha. sleepingbooty I love love love your mood board idea (I can't remember what you called it now, sorry if that's wrong). I think I'm going to do a spin on this DURING the month of December though... I was thinking of making a page with 25 little squares on it, one for each day, and then after I create the page for that day I am going to fill in that day's square with a scrap or something from that day with a focus on the products I used. Then, at the end of the month, I will have a page documenting the products from December Daily 2022. Thanks so much for the inspiration!

How did you guys get the Amazon catalog, I want one!! I'm not sure. I've been a Prime member for years and purchase stuff for my kids. Maybe they check your purchasing history? My Dad gets it, too.
