This is the official DD PSA--check your box as soon as possible (drives me nuts when I hear people say they are going to wait to open it until December...) My main kit was missing 4 items (possibly only 3 because the website lists "Story Cards" but they aren't in the picture. I'm definitely missing the vellum strips, the plastic words and the numbered die cut labels. I think the story cards are the cardstock circles that fit into the stitched felt pockets. Even so, three missing items is unacceptable isn't it! I wish mine would hurry up and arrive so I can check everything. It landed in the country yesterday, so hopefully I'll see it sometime next week. |

I am getting really excited for December Daily! Anyone else thinking of how you will organize everything? I know we have a DD Play Day with Ali coming up but Im ready to mess with my stuff now! LOL I've got all the older supplies I want to use sorted into a homemade organiser. It's just a few cut down boxes glued and taped together but it should do the job. I'm excited to get my AE order and all I really need to decide on is whether to cut down the buildable 8x10 travel album I bought during one of the sales to 6x8 or leave it as is. I've only ever done 6x8. I love the red 8x10 album just added to the shop but at US$35.75 with shipping it's an easy pass. I'm looking foward to both the product class and the play day. My December plans just got a serious upgrade - we are going on a cruise for 13 days to New Zealand starting December 1. So fun but also very different to what I thought I'd be doing in the lead up to Christmas  |

So fun but also very different to what I thought I'd be doing in the lead up to Christmas Ooh, exciting! But wow, that will make the month go by very quickly. At least, if you're anything like me, it'll take a few days to settle back into life when you get home and then suddenly it will be almost Christmas! Will the cruise take you around over the country or is it focused on one area? |

December Daily arrived, sans shipping notice.
Floral Album - spectacular. It might be my favorite album ever. It’s so lovely. No noticeable difference in assembly.
PP mini kit - on the light side for the price. Papers are beautiful, love the colors. Painted wood pieces are weird, probably won’t use. A few of the puffy stickers are off center and colors seem off. I’m not a puffy sticker fan, but kind of disappointing. The cardboard box seems overkill. Plastic pouch next time please!
Transparencies- no issues. They are beautiful!
Die cut inserts - BEST thing in my box. I will use every one of them.
Felt Numbers - thin, I’m happy. These are cool.
2x2 die cuts - might be my favorite set ever. Love them. Bonus, paid for one received 2.
Plastic Stars - awesome, only 5 of 40+ are in the weird handwriting.
Chip numbers - Love. Muted gold vs brash, shiny version which I love. Super thin,may not have to peel layers.
Die cuts - a few arrived bent, this sort of happens with all the diecuts/ephemera I buy. Fun addition, critters are adorable.
Plastic trees - love! I’m using them in the inside covers of my album.
Window cards - not sure I love them. They are really thick.
Envelopes - so excited for these, so many ideas.
3x8 cards - miffed the printing is centered including the holes. I had planned on trimming the cards. I think Mom said that you can’t really trim and keep stuff centered. I’m annoyed.
Specialty paper pack - gah, these are some gorgeous papers. Might even be hoard worthy.
Trims - fine. Very small card. Not worth the price.
Yes, I bought a ton. No apologies. My daughter left for college that week and I totally self soothed by adding to my cart. 😂 I plan to skip page protectors entirely for this album.

joblackford we'll have days in Dunedin,Christchurch, Wellington, Napier, Tauranga and Auckland with a scenic cruise through/around the Fiordland National Park at the start. We depart and return to Melbourne so there are a lot of 'at sea' days which is fine by me as we have a cabin really close to the adults only pool and bar! We actually did a cruise an almost identical for our honeymoon 3 years ago at the end of November and loved it so much that it was an easy choice to do it again. We plan on returning one day to do a longer visit inland. I think I'll keep a diary each day and start on my album when I get a chance. I love December albums so I definitely plan to do it but you're so right - I'll need down time when I get back for a day or two.

Mine arrived in Canada today. Everything in the box is is good shape and I'm not missing any items. I got the Joy album and I really like the gold accent! The main kit is in this cool box and I will be cutting down the 10x8 papers to be used in my 6x8 album. Overall really happy with my purchases!

I got my shipping notice today. It’s supposed to get here late next week. I think I’ve only ever shopped during the boxing period one other time quite a few years ago. I had no idea that once the boxing period ended it could still be weeks before you got your package. I sort of agree that the more time that has passed since the original release, the less excited I am about the products. I’m sorry to everyone that still hasn’t got shipping notices, hopefully they come soon!

Me! Mine is missing and I had to be a very early orderer because I did get the stencils. Mine hasn't shipped yet, either. I never got a DD shipping email, I just got a notice on my UPS account the day before my package arrived, so keep a look out, you may never get a shipping notice… |

Although so is my Halloween kit and I already have it.
Kinda bummed but my FJ order arrived yesterday and my ACOT order (mostly adhesives and boring stuff I was out of) shopped yesterday.

My box arrived early, yesterday. It was well packed and the only minor casualty is my kit patterned paper - it's slightly bent. Nothing that I can't live with since I'll be hacking part of it off.
I am so impressed with this year's kit. The design, the materials - I am really pleased.
BTW, the plastic trees aren't as huge as I thought. Easy enough to use on 6x8 pages.

The tracking number isn't in the system yet though so probably early next week. It usually only take a day for my loot from Ali or Studio Calico arrived. Super close.

That doesn't seem too bad and if they are shipping in any way related to the order when purchases were made, they should be getting close. Did anyone get a mystery bag? I bought the mystery bag of die cuts for $10. I was hoping for the calm & bright cardstock word, sleepingbooty I will take you up on your kind offer, as I didn't unfortunately get that....(which just goes to prove that I am never lucky!) Mine came in a large plastic star envelope, bigger than a 6 by 8 album 1. The cardstock die templates from last year (circles, stars and speech bubbles) - the cardstock is so thin, I was super surprised 2. Add on die cuts (squares, hearts etc) From the main 1. Plastic wreaths/large circles 2. Small vellum circles/trees 3. Plastic coated long label/word phrases Since I didn't buy any of these items, wasn't a total waste, but nothing that I was super excited to receive and like so many of AE's mystery kits, not exactly value for money. |
