Texas Scrap I got the trees as well. They are one of my fave pieces so I understand why you are upset. Happened to me way too many times with SC. Id be happy to share my trees with you I appreciate this. You are super kind and if there were more than 5, I might take you up on it, but I do appreciate the generosity. I just printed the digitals on vellum - not a great result. And my order has not even shipped - I figured the out of stock notification was going to mean the shipping would happen today. I think I need to just tuck DD away for a few days because 5 plastic trees are not worth this frustration! |

Did you contact them? Mine were fine but I suspect this cost saving measure is going to cost them way more in the long run. I didn't. But I don't really want a new set of transparencies. They aren't good about offering partial refunds, which is really what I'd prefer. You need to let them know though, they should be held accountable. Write them and tell them what you would like done, see what they say. If you don't tell them they won't make any time to fix it for you or other customers in the future |

Hopefully, we can convince you to stay and have some scrappy fun. December Daily is probably GS's favourite yearly project. Nothing beats flipping through those December pages years later. I just saw someone- I think on the AE Facebook? Maybe it was the AE DD Facebook- that printed the trees on transparencies and painted the back white - they look good! I like the feedback you gave them and hope they listen. I was going to suggest this too.. They looked so good! I did get the trees, but I haven't even gotten a shipping notice. I hope I don't get the same email Texas Scrap got! I would be willing to share a tree or two |

Totally late to the party this year. First time here since last year. You ladies are the best. So glad to be back. I am having a blast catching up on the thread!
I bought nothing from AA, but did spend a bunch at Paper Person and just placed my scrapbook.com order (thank you for everyone on the Christmas paper post)! So helpful to have that all in one place. Finally holiday backing embellishments (thank you Fancy Pants for embellishments that don't look to cartoonish).

Texas Scrap, I’m so sorry that happened to you! It really seems like they’d have a better system for making sure that everyone gets what they ordered. You’d also think they would prioritize the orders as they were placed. Im just never impressed with how they do things. I still haven’t received my order either, and I had checked out within the first few minutes. I have no idea what their system is.

I got my box today ( mom the pennant is heading your way). I got the floral album and it's gorgeous. I got the advent calendar. Can't wait to start on that. I'll start it in November so that Dec. 1 is the last day. The diecuts are better in person. Super happy with those and the heart pockets I bought last minute. I did get 3 mystery $1 items: 1 sticker sheet was from a paislee press kit, red words on white paper. I got a rubber embellishment set with 8 pieces (arrows, a santa piece, a tree, a merry christmas). Super worth it. Then the huge set of 3 rubber pieces (star, wreath, and ornament). So a good value for my $3 for sure. I don't always get good stuff but this was definitely a win. My box was small but the cat fits in it so we're good (that is really all that matters). I've been doing this for more than 10 years now so I've built up an enormous stash. I also know what I use and what I won't so I don't need to buy a lot. Still spent a lot though. I'm starting to get excited about it. |

I got my AE order today, and I am not even excited about it. It took so long to arrive. Plus, the little amount of product I received versus the $$$ I spent is making me feel all bah humbug. I am sure the excitement will be there come December, but there is none right now.

I got mine today, too. It even arrived a day earlier than expected. I was happy to see all my items accounted for - especially the stencils. It did lose some (a lot) of the excitement with such a delay to receive. I mean when did we even order?? In August right?! Lol. I also bought too much because of the boxing period and FOMO and thinking “oh but shippings free.” That added up. I would have been just as happy I think with my original order and not buying extras throughout the boxing period.
I’m looking forward to prep day- I think that will get me excited.
ETA: I half take it back. Lol. I took some things out of packages and am happy I got them! I think my only “regrets” are 2 stamp sets I added later as they are so expensive. I had bought two in my Original order and I’m happy with those. I am liking the paper die cut dividers and my Transparency set seems perfect. I also like the white canvas word strips with the red lettering.

I just shipped a small package containing some SWAG to a Canadian client. Small box, less than a pound, valued at about $30. Using UPS I had to fill out about 7 pages for forms, an itemized list of package contents including UPCs, country of origin, and it cost $65 to send with a commercial shipping account.
I get that it’s frustrating not being able to purchase supplies from US sellers, but shipping this one package was quite enough. It’s so ridiculous.

Like Texas Scrap, they informed me Monday I wasn't getting my trees. I posted here then, but took it down because I don't post much and didn't want people to think I was looking for free trees.
Well, the order came today, and the box just makes me sad. I know it's dumb to be upset over stupid plastic trees. But it was the item that made me decide to order. I got my order in as soon as the window opened. I started a conversation Monday, but, of course, no response.
They gave me the digital file and I'll print the trees if I want them. So far, the sight of them just pisses me off.
Thank you for letting me vent.

I worked on an older DD album with the Paislee press digital papers a few nights ago and that made me happy and was a good distraction. I love this project and I think when you feel invested it’s normal to be disappointed about plastic trees . ETA: my DD package delivered despite no shipping notice. All looks good - turns out I ordered 2 packs of specialty paper on accident. Still sad about the large plastic trees, but the chipboard ones are cuter than I thought they would be! |

Y'all, this thread is booking! There was a post nearby where I entered the thread that linked to a video of a small photobook DD from 2020. I just tried to find it to give credit but gave up. Linda Loves Creating YouTube Channel 2020 photobook DD --- you did a really nice job on that DD. Lots of great ideas. ETA - HA! I never thought to look up on this page. I just started paging backwards. Maybe y'all aren't going as fast on this thread as I thought you were. |

My December Daily box from Studio Calico finally arrived today. I was shorted 2 items. The 2 x 2 die cut paper and the stitched canvas tags and envelopes from last year. Of course I started a conversation. I am frustrated that they can't get their inventory correct. As a consolation I received a download for the die cut paper but I need a refund ASAP. I hope this process doesn't take 3 weeks like it took to ship to me.  |

OMGawd it's finally happened...the heavens have parted...the angels are singing..I.received.my Ali Edwards DD shipping notice!!!!!! Holy crap batman I only ordered on 31Aug. I don't know the exact time but I did open the site as soon as the sale went live. I had my order placed within minutes of the release going live. So in about 10 days I'll have my order. Woohoo! Maybe it'll even arrive before Nov!?!
