Someone cut down their Santa album to 6x8 on the DD group on FB and now it’s all I can think about. It’s adorable

That was me. I've only done the back part of the album. Lots of people want a video on how I did it. I've never filmed a how-to-video before. I'll film while I do the front part of the album. Hopefully the video comes out ok and it can help people.

Also I watched an unboxing of Ali's kits and almost fell out of my chair with the misspelled word. Do these people not have editors?

I bought a few of her items last year and barely used them.

I had more fun doing my own thing and using my own supplies.

I did get the 6x8 transparencies though. I saved $1. I still cringed at the shipping. Good gosh.

So I just saw the Hip Kit Club's Christmas collection, and I must say I think it is really cute. I love the red paper with the big snowflake.

I don't know what it is, but this kit just makes me happy.

there's some cute holiday acetates and vellums on etsy but you're more likely to find A4 and smaller sizes than full 12x12 ones. Have you looked at craft stores around you? I know I've found generic foil stars/stripes in 12x12 in past years at Joanns.

Looks like the Michaels Recollections brand has 2 specialty paper pads this year, however they're 4.5 x 6.5 but could be cute for some pockets! The vellum pad is a generic red/green/gold Christmas one and the acetate pad is a blues/white/gold winter-y one.

I found a flip-through of all the papers from this year including the specialty ones --



They start at 5 minutes 43 seconds if it didn't load properly! They're pretty cute imo especially for the price (currently on sale for $3.59). Biggest downside is looks like they're only in store and none of the ones around me are in stock lol

I purchased the Mittens & Mistletoe red plaid w/gold vellum, the Vicki Boutin Fa La La gold acetate, the DIY Shop Gold Dots on Acetate, and Bazzill gold dots on kraft from ACOT a while back, they might still have stock.

Sometimes I layer them on top of another page but sometimes I use them as the foundation for the story. Like I know I want to use the red felt half circle I made on my silhouette just on a page with a tag inside. I tab on the right would be lovely.
I think the Heidi Swapp ones I bought actually have tabs.

We don't have a JoAnn's anymore but I will also go there when I see my mom next time.

Thank you. I actually have a thing for tabs and have a whole little box full of them. Anytime I have an interactive photo element I like to add a tab to show it.

According to my 8 year old, now that we've had halloween and Guy Fawkes night, we can now start to think about Christmas, so I've bought myself a fancy coffee advent calendar. My boy promptly put on Polar Express as soon as he got in from school. He's also just told me that he no longer believes in Father Christmas and it's made me so sad.
